I have been with Kigo for years now and for the most of it my experiences have all been good.

Pros

Support team's calming and professional demeanor was beyond amazing as we transitioned to our new web site. Support team definitely made things happen and all efforts are very much appreciated! Thank you!

Cons

Search functionality could be better. My previous web site with Kigo there were various ways to search for a property in one location.

KIGO has transformed our business. Without doubt, it has changed the whole manner in which we operate, for the better, making the whole work flow process much more efficient. The transition hasn't been without it's hiccups, but they have been dealt with in a timely and helpful way by the support staff and all have been resolved as we have dragged ourselves, kicking and screaming into the 21st century, opening up to online booking and taking advantage of the many facilities available within the KIGO operation. It just works! Which is exactly what any piece of software should do - Without getting in the way of the admin, the KIGO software just takes care of it and it looks great too, making the whole process much more pleasurable. We haven't looked back.

I highly recommend KIGO.

Pros

KIGO have grown considerably giving their users more exposure to other portals and agents. A great platform for the ease of calendar linking. Recently I have noticed an increase in customer service within the company, offering users more advice and help with the applications. Overall I would highly recommend them.

Cons

Due to everything still being reasonably new, some of the functions are not the same with all agents ie prices updated automatically through my website and those listing the properties. Outside calendar syncing can be very confusing.

Meeting guest expectations is our top priority as a vacation rental owner and Kigo has helped us achieve that. The best part about it is the Channel Management system which helps us reach quite a lot of partners with just few clicks. We found it pretty user friendly and didn't face any major glitches. We really appreciate the constant communication from them regarding the updates for various additional services and updates. A special thanks to their design team who helped us get our website up and running and for constantly keeping in touch with us. We are glad to be working with Kigo. And whenever we wanted any clarifications about any difficulties we experienced, Kigo's new support system was always ready to help.

Kigo is the first software we tested so can't say how better is compared with others, but i can say it's a usefull tool. They had the great idea of connecting agencies to boost networking, it works, it's a huge potential of growth, and it is something don't think others do. There are still some things to fix, it's a young platform, but they work hard to implement all the features, it's very dynamic and it's growing fast. It takes some time to set all the tools they provide, of course, and we're still doing this, but once it's all done you manage to save some time, which is actually the reason why you need a software. In general we're satisfied with Kigo and suggest it to others.

Kigo 2.0 is very bad! Please keep Kigo Legacy, last minute is not working on Kigo 2.0, and the system of 2.0 is much complicated than Legacy. Is there any chance to use Legacy also for future? So many people like Legacy more than 2.0, why you won't keep both???

W have found Kigo generally excellent in all respects since we asked them to design our website back in 2011. We passed over some ideas and they came up with a modern elegant design which our clients love. Equally importantly the design features seem to have attracted more traffic to our site and all our google ratings were maintained or improved. All in all we have been delighted. However, when client servicing moved to a team of people dedicated to this we have become disillusioned with the response time and general lack of helpfulness. Also, the Accounts Dept need to be more on top of their game - chased us multiple times for a bill paid on time.

I started using Kigo in august 2013, I already know about their channel manager and calendar syncronization after working for 7years in an international short term rental agency online. Kigo system is perfect to manage bookings from several websites and also to prepare the check in and check out process. It is more than a website or a channel manager, it is what I needed to grow up faster and properly. Customer service and support is also very eficient, always have someone to assist me in my requests. I strongly recommend this system, software and company.

Kigo is for the first wiev really good, but don't want to work together with customers from their local markets and don't want to solve their problems. I have really many ideas how to make kigo better, but they dont listen to smaller customers with up to 100 Properties (am I still small with 85 Apartments? :)). They have their own prios and realize only their top 10. They think, that eastern European markets are the same like western etc. I hope, that it can change someday :) But hoping can everybody.

I have been using Kigo since mid-2012, and i am extremely satisfied ! Pros: half cut my work load in replying emails by half with the templates & inquiries import, have an overview of my calendars at any time, great notifications / automatic emails to help marketing wise as well, easy tracking of payments Cons: only one user at this point (your staff can access your numbers anytime...), but i am sure the developers are working on that, takes some time to imput all data/property but once its done, its done !!

After to be stumbling for months in search of a comprehensive system of reserves adequate for my needs, I saw the light the day I discovered Kigo. After one year of working with Kigo, I can say Kifo offers a beautiful concept for businesses in the travel industry, but is not totally consumer friendly yet on all aspects. Pros: great CMS where you can fill in almost all content on your website yourself Cons: the rent calculation is not organized in a very consumer friendly way: it takes a lot of time to fill in the price calculation when you work with different prices throughout the year.

The time difference to the US is hard from a customer service perspective. There is no scope for customising - would be keen to talk more when someone can help in APAC - currently looking at other alternatives to better suit our needs.

Pros

The booking system is great and pretty easy to use once you are familiar

the owners statements are not at all user friendly

Highly recommend Kigo! Great in-depth platform, yet very easy to use. Wonderful customer service as well - a real partnership. The Kigo Channel Manager has helped me get many more bookings while I actually do less work because automatically keeps all my availability calendars up to date everywhere - a real time saver!

Bad management and often changing their conditions. Sales managers are often cahnging (Europe). You sign with them an agreement and then they push you to change it after a while (they increase their price). Is quite expensive especialy for regions which has high season only 3 to 4 months per year.

I have been using kigo for years and I stoped using it no because it’s bad, just because it’s a pain when it blocks and you need to keep restarting.

Pros

So easy to use lt. The value for money is great

Cons

It blocks many times. Sometimes you need to reset it all the time.
