The reporting opportunities are vast. Great customer service and training. Cons There is a steep learning curve but once you get comfortable with how the software functions it becomes much easier. This is the best cloud-based reporting software I have seen. Pros I like Cosmos for the ease of use of creating reports for Business Central. I also like that it is cloud based. This makes it easy to work from anywhere. Cons I don't like that I can't automate running of the pipeline more than 4 times a day. We run many reports manually and sometimes we have to wait until the pipeline runs before we get current information. The training videos are well-structured and easy to follow, which has made the learning process much more manageable. Even while taking baby steps, I feel confident that I will be fully up and running in no time. Pros Cosmos offers impressive capabilities, with a strong library of prebuilt reports. Watching the Cosmos team navigate and build within the platform gives me a lot of confidence. Cons My biggest disappointment would be the learning curve. This is not just Cosmos but internally as well. We didn't just add Cosmos, we were integrating BC as well. Cosmos provided us with exceptional support, but we were not on the same level. I feel the trainer's skill and maneuverability in they system, didn't match ours so a lot of information was lost. Our trainer would have been best for Intermediate or Advanced training. The reporting tools are intuitive and easy to learn. There are also great videos on their website that explain most of the tools. Cons New UI makes looking up field IDs complicated. There is not a lot of videos of how the data model works. Also, it would be helpful if there was in depth coverage of creating relationships and mappings. Pros Cosmos' ability to seamlessly pull data in from BC into standardized and customizable excel reports is a massive time saver. Additionally, its very easy to use and can improve efficiency immensely. Its ability to schedule reports and have them run on any interval basis of your choice is also very helpful too. Cons Cosmos still has some small bugs and operational issues with their software. It is nothing major but still has some hiccups at times. Also, updating data to ensure the most recent sync with BC can be a hassle at times as well.
