I use the app every day. Dex is my personal a easy to use contact and stay-in-touch management software. Keeping me to stay in touch with broader family, friend and of course also client and prospects.

Pros

Simplicity and user friendliness is the key of this app.

Cons

there could be more integration, for example with MacOS mail, Apple Messages.

Incredible personal CRM. I was a heavy user of another personal CRM before it was acquired and then shut down. Since then, I've tried multiple other CRMs and most recently Clay. I'm glad that I tried Dex. It's unquestionably the best personal CRM out there. I wish more people knew the benefit of using a personal CRM.

Pros

The ability to easily stay in touch with business and personal contacts not connected to a deal or pipeline. The drip emails for onboarding have been great as well. They are not too often and are in just the right size to not overwhelm you.

Cons

I've had a few UX issues that made me feel like features were not there. However, as I've learned the product, it's just that they are different than the last personal CRM I used. I really do not have any cons at the moment.

Reasons for choosing Dex

Dex had more relationship friendly features. It also didn't sit well with me that Clay started later and appears to have copied Dex. I tried managing personal relationships with Hubspot and Follow Up Boss but those are built for deals and not personal relationships.

Pros

It is super easy to use, it automates all the hard work of synchronizing my LinkedIn, Google, and others tools I use to manage my contacts. Moreover, it allows me to take notes during meetings. And it reminds me to stay in touch with my friends.

Cons

The software is a great tool, and new features are released frequently as it is a small startup.
