Used the software for: ### "Experience on Mule" November 9, 2016 4.0 Mule is the most lightweight integration platform available,Mule streaming allows developers to process large messages efficiently.Mule has very good functionality like Orchestration: Composing several existing fine-grained components into a single higher order composite service. This can be done to achieve appropriate "granularity" of services and promote reuse and manageability of the underlying components.Transformation: Data transformation between canonical data formats and specific data formats required by each ESB connector. An example of this would be transforming between CSV, Cobol copybook or EDI formats to either SOAP/XML or JSON. Canoncial data formats can greatly simplify the transformation requirements associated with a large ESB implementation where there are many consumers and providers, each with their own data formats and definitions and many more.Transportation: Transport protocol negotiation between multiple formats (such as HTTP, JMS, JDBC). Note: Mule treats databases like another "service" by making JDBC just another transport (or endpoint) where data can be accessed. Pros The best part about mulesoft is that you get productive in very less time.The readily available connectors, the exchange platform, the templates all help you gasp the concept very quickly and then help deliver on the solution part.It provides API management capability and also governance and discoverability.Making it easy for the other developers and projects to identify already implemented service. They are are so many built in data connectors and ways to move data the possibilities seem endless. and if you run into something that does not exist it is not too hard to create your own connector using a variety of technologies. We have been able to connect some of our medieval legacy systems to the modern cloud components facilitating a modernization of workflows without a total scratch and expensive rebuild of the incumbent systems. The tools are spot on and easy to work with and they have excellent training available for those that will be using the system. Pros We have majorly used this software for rapid development of mobile applications as it's always hard to deal with component integrations and propagate changes over all the network of integrations. This tool made it much simpler to design experience level applications and handled all the inter component integrations seamlessly saving a lot of development time. Overall a good product Pros Allows for faster development and easy data manipulation. The graphical programming face allows for easier code readability thus faster development.
