Along with the these you will also find the links to source codes and documentation in the github. 3. API Manager - Designing REST base APIs made easy using API Manager. Datasense and dataweave are the ones which I like most about mule. Cons Some weird behaviour or platform specific behaviour, like while testing db connection in flow user name and password is not mandatory but while deploy the application user name password for connector is mandatory. You can never go wrong here when you are particularly developing SaaS based applications. Pros An amazing solution for managing APIs. You can design and oversee the life-cycle of your API. It's integration is highly reliable as it supports a variety of connectors. You can effortlessly link apps, data as well as devices flexibly whether on cloud or on-premise. It offers you effective policies one of which gives you the ability to restrict access to your API With Anypoint Platform, fluency in programming is not a mandatory requirement as you can develop your own API. Cons Though fluency in programming is not a big deal, the learning curve over here is definitely high and you may have to be a little patient. Used the software for: ### "Generally simple and easy-to-use , but there are some minor frustrations." November 9, 2015 4.0 The graphical nature of the Anypoint Studio IDE makes it relatively simple to use and the training is of a good quality. Therefore, the learning curve to create simple (but useful) apps is not steep. However, as with any tooling of this nature, it does require time and commitment to become truly knowledgeable and skillful. The platform itself is one of the better open-source ESBs (the enterprise version providing even more connectivity). There is a large amount of functionality contained within tool which is still growing. I also find that patches to issues (raised with Mulesoft) do come relatively quickly. There are some minor issues with the IDE - the visual debugger is one area that (I think) could do with some TLC. The other, which I find more of a frustration, seems to be an issue with how responsive the IDE is at times. It can hang and sometimes the only way to deal with this issue is to close it down and start it up again (but not sure if this is an underlying issue with Eclipse). I haven't yet encountered any issues with the stand-alone runtime yet and that does seem solid, but note, I've only used the Linux version. And also Dataweave is very rich and solid expression language users can use to easily transform data into desired output. Pros It has rich GUI to design/develop and deploy your apps and APIs easily. And Testing and getting feedback on design time is much more important as developers to make sure that the product we are going to develop fulfils the end users' requirement and also helps to reduce the number of testing cycle, hence will help a lot for Rapid Application Development. Cons It is still evolving and changing fast and sometimes some parts of our solutions has to change frequently. But this does not happen for most of the parts.
