The centralized dashboard made it easy to push content and updates without touching each device individually, saving a lot of time during training sessions. Cons What I liked least about ArborXR was the learning curve during initial setup; getting all the headsets enrolled and configured correctly took more time than expected, and some of the more advanced settings weren't very intuitive without referring to the documentation. Pros Overall, the interface itself was simple and intuitive to use from a facilitator/admin perspective, which made the whole process feel manageable rather than overwhelming. Cons My biggest frustration was around troubleshooting. When a headset ran into an issue, my remote options were pretty limited, so I often still had to get hands-on with the device itself to actually diagnose or fix the problem. ArborXR gave us the confidence to launch a national XR initiative without needing a huge IT team on the ground at each location Pros ArborXR has been essential for scaling our XR deployment across 19 campuses. The device management console lets us remotely configure, update, and monitor our Meta Quest 3 headsets from a single dashboard, which has been a huge time-saver compared to managing devices individually. Kiosk mode and app curation make it easy to control exactly what students see when they put on a headset Cons The main pain point we've run into is app access in kiosk mode — it isn't straightforward to browse and download applications from the store while a device is running in kiosk mode. Being able to add or update apps more easily without stepping out of that mode would make managing our fleet across campuses even smoother. Switched from [Springboard](https://www.capterra.com/p/235869/Springboard/) We moved from Springboard to ArborXR because our deployment scaled to a fleet of over 100 Meta Quest 3 headsets, and we needed proper MDM capabilities — remote configuration, bulk enrollment, kiosk mode, and centralized monitoring — rather than just app distribution. ArborXR gave us the device-level control needed to manage that scale reliably from a central team. Pros It does just what you expect. No nonsense product. If despite the ease of use you need help the AI assistent works for you and passes the issue throug to the support team if needed. Cons casting multiple devices is not always working as it should. This could be a network problem but it is a bit anoying. Also the audio does not come with the stream. They offer online links for self paced instruction, but also have a fabulous chatbot and IT Support team for novice device management system users like myself. The software has exceeded my expectations on so many levels; from setup to device management. With a device count of just 30, using this software is currently free. This is very well appreciated by a school that is still in its infancy of using VR in classrooms. I have highly recommended this software to colleagues who are also looking to use VR in their classrooms. Pros My favourite feature so far about Arbor XR is how easy it was to install and integrate with our existing devices. I had already set up 30 devices manually (Wifi settings, downloaded apps, signed into Youtube accounts etc...) and thankfully I did not need to reset any of the headsets to install Arbor XR. The setup process was extremely easy and streamlined with easily accessible articles to help guide me. What improved this service further was the extremely attentive onboarding team and help desk who responded to any queries I had swiftly. Cons As an educator, it's imperative to have a certain degree of visibility over what each user is viewing when wearing the VR. Currently, Arbor XR does tell you what app each device is using, but you do not have a live view of what they're doing in that app. Unsurprisingly, this feature is already on their roadmap and under development.
