Tolles Produkt mit einem tollen Supportteam! Weiter so! Unser Use Case war/ist es die SAP Basis Administration zu vereinfachen, denn gutes Personal ist im SAP Bereich sehr schwer zu bekommen und wir müssen mit den gleichen Team immer mehr Aufgaben erledigen. Durch Automatics konnten wir die SAP Basis Administration und Standardabläufe automatisieren und Aufgaben die früher Stunden und Tage in Anspruch genommen haben, sind mit wenigen Klicks in wenigen Minuten erledigt.

Pros

Die Software ist intuitiv gestaltet und bitte eine gute Übersicht über unsere Systemlandschaft. Die Integration hat einfach und schnell funktioniert. Beim PoC sind wir auf kleine Fehler (Abbruch des Workflows) gestoßen, aber diese konnten schnell behoben werden. Zum Teil lag es an uns, weil wir nicht zu 100% am SAP Standard sind und zum Teil an Automatics. Die Anpassungen wurden vom Support in wenigen Stunden erledigt und wir konnten den PoC erfolgreich abschließen, danach haben wir uns zum Kauf der Software entschieden und sind bisher sehr zufrieden. Für uns war auch der Support entscheiden. Wir wurden immer kompetent betreut (in Deutsch) und wir hatten das Gefühl mit Experten zu sprechen, nicht mit einem 1st Level Mitarbeiter.

Cons

Wir wünschen uns noch weitere Features und Integrationen, wie z.b. systemübergreifendes Auslesen der aktuellen Einstellung und Nachverfolgung von Änderungen (Changes) auch im Sinne von Compliance und Nachvollziehbarkeit. Die Lösung hat noch viel Potential und wir hoffen auf weitere Entwicklungen.

Reasons for choosing Automatics

Die Software passt perfekt für unsere Anforderungen der Automatisierung, Patch- und Updatemanagement, Start/Stop, Zertifikatsmanagement, etc. Das Team agiert schnell, freundlich und bietet tollen Support. Beim Start des PoCs haben wir uns bereits sehr wohl gefühlt.

Pros

Wir setzten sämtliche Funktionen und Workflows von automatics ein.speziell die Funktionen "SAP Notes Management" und das Managen und Auditieren von Profil-Parametern hilft uns im täglichen Betrieb sehr.Der initiale Implementierungsaufwand war sehr gering. Nach dem Einrichten der Berechtigungen und dem Verteilen eines Funktionsbausteins in die SAP-Systemen kann sofort mit der Nutzung begonnen werden.

Cons

Die Nutzung ist sehr einfach und intuitiv, wir warten derzeit noch auf die Funktion von automatisierten Vor- und Nacharbeiten im Zuge von SAP-Systemkopien, welche mit der Release 2022.03 mit Ende Q1 zugeasgt wurde.

Pros

SAP Basisadministratoren sind ausgebildete Experten die schwer zu finden sind. Durch automatics bekommen sie wieder Zeit zurück um an Optimierungen und anderen wichtigen Themen zu arbeiten, die im manuellen Tagesgeschäft nicht möglich sind. Die intuitive und einfache Nutzung hat von der ersten Minuten für Zeiteinsparung gesorgt und die Transparenz bei Systemänderungen verbessert.

Cons

Bis dato sind keine Probleme im SAP Basis Betrieb durch die Nutzung von automatics aufgetaucht.
