I would highly recommend this software as it made the recruitment task much easier. Pros It's simple, responsive, intuitive and easy to navigate. The support team are very quick to solve issues and reply to questions. Cons More integration would be great, however, we had extremely particular requirements in terms of integration with other software which we solved with the myInterview team through a few workarounds, the team were great at troubleshooting and building the process we needed. There are many options to customize the software to what you want. There are also many options to provide provide clear instructions to the users. We primarily use this for asynchronous interviews, and the users have no issue understanding the interview questions, timing, etc. The best part is that myInterview holds the videos in a database and allows us to categorize them, if need be. The quality is excellent and the rendering is very fast and efficient. Cons It took a while to get customer service responses to some of our questions. That is really my only complaint, and that has actually improved quite a bit. I really don't have anything negative to say about the software. It truly is easy to use and a good, quality product. Pros I like how easy it is to create a landing page and highlight the opportunities our company has available. It's a new way of connecting potential candidates with Recruiters. Cons I would like for the tool to allow you to pass candidates over to another representative during the chat session. Review Source R Reviewer University Programs Coordinator Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Lots of Growth Opportunity" October 5, 2020 3.0 This was the school's choice of virtual platform and although I didn't have a problem creating the booths, adding reps. etc., we changed all of our Information Sessions (i.e. Video Broadcasts), to the Zoom platform. Pros • Several of us were unable to conduct 1-on-1 chats even with text only. I also had issues where it would kick me out of the chat room altogether or it would stop showing me what others typed. I had students say they saw I sent them a 1-on-1 invite, but clicking on it do no good. I called their helpdesk in the afternoon (my colleague could not get ahold of them) and they had a developer call me back. He figured out what the problem was pretty fast. Their web chat client opens sockets and keeps them open forever (a bad practice). He said they have had issues with security conscious companies whose firewalls shut the connections down. He emailed me a URL to use that opens a socket, polls, then closes the socket, and repeats a little later. That worked alright to solve, but took alot of time out from the event. Cons • The CarrerEco system “participants list” is always in alpha order by name. It was almost impossible to tell what order students entered the room or how long they had been waiting to talk to someone. You can scroll back in the main window – but that is hard to do when you have a ton of students visiting like we did. You really almost need one person to monitor the main room and keep a list. • Video chat is more personable (a few on our team got that to work), but when doing text only chat one rep can have multiple conversations going on. September 8, 2021 5.0 In the busy days, I spend a lot of time interviewing candidates in person/via video calls, and sometimes it can be really challenging to handle all day to day HR tasks and interviews - that's when this great tool plays it's role as my helping hand while I focus on other things at work. I'm able to review interviews at my convenience, any time. The candidates are also able to complete video interviews whenever they are ready for it, which can significantly reduce the amount of stress as they are able to prepare themselves for the interview. My experience is overall positive. Pros Easy to use, automatization of the notifications and reminders. It was a real time saver for me in busy periods of hiring! Cons So far, I didn't find much that I don't like about it. Maybe more questions available (not just 10) would be good thing to have for some roles, and I sometimes combine two questions to one as I need to ask all important things on that first interview for which I use MyInterview tool. Pros MyInterview was incredibly competitive for the volume of videos we were after. As we use it at the initial screening stages, we needed an uncapped subscription. They integrate with our ATS, and the candidate experience is seamless - no app downloads which was really important to us. Cons If using it directly (not via an ATS), and recruiting an ongoing volume role, it's hard to manage previously rejected candidates in your pipeline stages without losing their video. They can complete the interviews at a time that's convenient to them, and our team can review them asynchronously. Getting the more "standard" questions answered in this way means we can have deeper conversations once we get to two-way interviews. Pros myInterview's very easy to use, it's priced competitively, and it integrates deeply with our ATS. The team is really great to work with too. Cons Previously I'd have said that more integrations would have been helpful, but they recently launched an integration with Zapier that's made a massive difference (for example, we can get Slack notifications for myInterview video responses now). Cons Needs to allow for uploading common questions/answers ahead of time and carry over from event to event. I use another product through a government contract that does this and it makes things much easier. I love how professional the interview looks (with custom branding, custom video, etc.), and how easy it is to review interviews. I have recommended others at our company and it's increasingly becoming an essential part in my hiring process. And the support team is superb. They respond instantly and solve whatever problem I may have! Cons It still has some rough edges, but the support team is very responsive. Candidates reported some issues, some of them had to take the interview through several days. Some candidates' videos get messed up, or we didn't receive them, we had to reach out to support to have these resolved. It's also annoying that upon canceling the premium subscription, you don't get reverted back to the free tier, but everything just kinda stops and you can't experiment with creating jobs. This system worked so well. We will consider using this furthermore. Pros This application is easy to manipulate. the buttons are really simplified so it was quite easy to switch from chat to a video call. Fortunately I did not have any system issue, but if there is an issue with a video chat, you can easily get back to a normal typing chat screen. That makes us really stress-free during the session. Cons I only had one issue of a candidate video not being "released" for viewing but contacted customer service and was fixed immediately. We were able to hire several quality staff members from around the country to come work at our school site. Pros When the pandemic hit and we were in need to recruiting and hiring new teachers to fill vacant positions within our school, we were at a loss at how to do this while keeping protentional candidates safe. Our district introduced us to this product to assist with finding quality candidates. The feature I liked most was being able to look at the resume of the candidate and being able to refer back to the conversation in the chat. Cons Something that I would like to see is a mutual rating. I know as an employer we can "flag" or rate candidate, but it would be nice to see if the candidate had a continued interest in seeking employment at our school site. The interview is for both parties. Brazen helped us do just that by providing a simple user interface for professionals and students to interact using familiar technology (e.g. chat rooms). This was a huge help to our recruiting program, and Brazen was a great solution to help us solve the problem at hand. Pros I enjoyed the ease of functionality within the software. I was able to seamlessly move within the application to the various menus and modules that I required access to in order to complete my task at hand. Specifically, during a virtual networking event, I remember being impressed with the layout of the chat room as it allowed me to easily view the student's resume as well as the chat in a simple format. Additionally, I appreciated the ease of setting up and attending events within the software. Cons I only have one small con to note about this software. At times, the chats would lag or get out of order during the virtual network event. However, this type of situation is extremely common with chat functionality within applications so this was a small con.
