Cons

I have over 2000 locked up with Square, and the never released it even after asking me to fill up forms, and over 5 phone calls with a customer support agent who escalated the case and no result been provided.

Square Online and the entire Square retail catalog have changed the way we approach our business. Third-party integrations and a clean, customizable interface have always simplified moving from one aspect of serving our clients to another. Be it invoice capabilities, seamless Quickbooks integration, or the ease of starting e-commerce through Square Online, Square has done our business right!

Pros

Square Online enabled us to turn our existing managed inventory into a contemporary and stylish website that had us e-commerce capable in just a few days. The templates are clean and easy to use and the publishing was straight forward.

Cons

There were times when directly editing the html or css would have been useful. Workarounds always took extra time and may ultimately lead us away from the product as a long term e-commerce solution.

Overall enjoy it and won't change from it for now. Since we've opened, we've had no down time related to hosting issues, would reccomend.

Pros

Ease of use was the biggest draw to this product. Everything was a breeze to setup and was able to start selling our products within minutes of uploading photos and descriptions, couldn't be easier.

Cons

The software lacked the robustness of others. As far as features, some are limited in functionality where others had some small glitches.

At times, for me, it is really not user friendly. Instruction on “how to “ aren’t smooth, and are complicated.

Pros

I love the easy to use features! I am able to add products with ease. Add coupons as well. I feel it isn’t overly complicated either. I love the added features you can add.

Cons

I wish the marketing and loss cart and loyalty club were cheaper to add. I’d like those features but can’t swing the extra feeez.

I love it!

Pros

I love I can schedule fixed prices, edit real time, clients can book appointments, choose the service, cancel and rebook, pay, save their cards, I can access it online, via mobil app, and I can send invoices too or just charge the card from home. This has helped me make my new business professional and to have real appointments, scheduled and connected to my other calendars.

Cons

I have some confusion with only one aspect and that is designing the page where they choose the service.

Simplistic set up, easy to understand and use without seeking help files. Very easy to follow, set up and use and access.

Pros

Ease of use. Also helps with in-store purchases. You can build an online store with minimal experience.

Cons

I do not feel that there are any downsides to this software. It is lacking in some outside integrations.

Pros

Other than it costing a bit more than most to start up, it's worth the money to do it!

I love Square Online. My business runs more efficiently with their software.

Pros

Square Online has made it so easy to offer products to customers around the world. I can easily put up new products in very little time, can access, fill and ship orders all from one place.

Cons

I would like to see some more options for order management. For example, able to see which orders I have looked at and/or printed and also a better way to see which products were ordered from each individual page.

Square has been good to me through the years and so I've stayed loyal to it. Even though their processing fees are a bit more, I trust if something goes wrong that I can get someone on the phone and we can solve it quickly. Fewer angry customers means more money long term!

Pros

I'm a big fan of Square even though there are other credit processors that are cheaper now. I still use Square because their customer service is good and I know if I have a problem I can access a real live human.

Cons

I had some initials problems integrating into my Wordpress site. It got complicated and I had to speak with Wordpress to make it work.

I love having a website that syncs with my in store sales. It’s made improvements, but a few more would make it better.

Pros

I love that it integrates so easily with my inventory.

Cons

I’d love more customization in the design of the site, to make it more on brand to my business. I’d love a way to sort items by sold out so I can reorder easily or mark them unavailable.

My overall experience so far has been positive. It saves me a headache most days, and keeps me super organized. Before square I just used my Apple calendar, which was a nightmare because of other non work related things interfering with my appointment. I have told almost everyone about this software because it’s really a superior application over anything I’ve used in the past. I am a highly satisfied customer!

Pros

The scheduler & the website have served me most purpose. I also really enjoy the ability to check out my customers, and keep record of all of my finances. I know that my customers have really enjoyed & appreciated the appointment notice they receive the day before their appointment, and the ability to reschedule if necessary. It has really freed up a lot of my time to do school work (full time student). I am not having to constantly remind & respond to everyone. I am highly satisfied with square, and am happy to continue using it!

Cons

I don’t have any big cons with this software. I think the only thing that was a little bit of a struggle to get used to is when I schedule new customers I have to be extra careful about inputting their information or else they are put into my system incorrectly.. which sometimes leads to scheduling mix ups.

Having the facility to sell online through Square has been very helpful for my business. and I will recommend Square for family and friends. Thank you.

Pros

Square provides an easy way to process payments and deposit my sales in my bank account on time. I very much prefer to pay square for processing the one-time sales instead of having to pay a monthly fee when my business is small and my sales are occasional.

Cons

I have no complaints about using Square. I find it very helpful

Serious bug on shipping profile setting. the program is written without a logical mindset. and problem was first brought up in community forum in 2021!!A Custom shipping profile allows Single Ship rate setting. And the insanity is, Square won't permit you to assign the product to multiple custom profiles. So your product is restricted to one custom profile where you can set one or multiple destinations, but with one ONE SINGLE ship rate allowed. The one who wrote the program does not have a sound mental state. The management at Square also have serious problem to allow the issue remain over 24 months.Live Chat agent confirmed with me today Sept 30, 2023, the feature I want is currently not available with Square OnlineWARNING TO WHO MAY BE INSTERESTED TO USE SQUARE ONLINESTay away unless they fix the problem !! It is a joke and a waste of time!

Easy and satisfying to use. It's not as customizable as SquareSpace, but it looks good and integrates with a decent amount of third party apps.

Pros

I like how easy it was to create a simple website that looks good and works well with little issue.

Cons

Square Online is meant to go along with their other services, such as POS, inventory management, online shops, appointments, etc. It's not trying to be highly customizable, but it is just customizable enough to do a fine job for most small businesses.

Overall this is a great Point of Sales system. It is easy for new employees to learn and it has a lot of options for different ways to sell your products. It is a one-stop-shop for online & in person sales.

Pros

This software is generally easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone starting a new business. It is pretty straightforward and we do not have a lot of issues with the system.

Cons

We really wish we could make notes on an invoice after it has been paid! Even if it is just an internal note for our records. Also, Adding a new location was not very straight forward.
