CoreMedia Experience Platform Reviews
Pros
The e-commerce platforms integration is the greatest strength, we can connect content directly to our product catalog engaging customer experiences.
Omnichannel content delivery, it works great in delivering content across multiple platforms including web, mobile, social, and e-commerce, ensuring a good user experience.
Cons
I felt that there was a lack of opportunity to learn more about the tool if you realized there were things that did not work or were confusing.
Feedback from my developers are sometimes not good about used software (outdated concepts) and upgrading could be difficult.
"Very sophisticated CMS with in-deep customization but with slow "time to publish""
Overall: We handle a complex ecommerce website structure with multi-country / currency effectively with few disruptions. The learning curve in order to be productive has been for sure a constrain. It is essential to plan very well during the setup phase everything you need since the feature out-of the-box are not enough for corporate website.
Pros: Template are the most easy features that allows an entire page arrangement also for non-technical users. Page components are easy to use once are developed but require sometimes hard coding skills to customize them. Workflow and scheduling are also at high grade level and allows a granular control on complex website structure.
Cons: The entire page creation process is very time consuming and complex reducing the time to publish compared to other competitors. Also the user interface and browsing of CMS asset when you're composing a page is not intuitive and require a long training in order to be efficient.
"A good service"
Overall: Overall experience: CoreMedia has been a game-changer for managing and delivering high-quality digital experiences. It’s reliable, adaptable, and has significantly enhanced our content strategy and audience engagement.
Pros: I love CoreMedia's seamless integration capabilities, the robust personalization options, and its flexibility for omnichannel content delivery. The platform's performance is excellent, even with large-scale content.
Cons: Cons: The initial learning curve can be steep for new users, and some advanced features require deeper technical expertise.
"The basics are easy to understand"
Overall: I am not a main user of the tool but still have the chance to use it periodically for basic jobs.
Pros: The overall basics of this tool were easy enough for me to understand but beyond simple tasks, I had difficulty getting into the weeds of the features and fully utilizing the tool.
Cons: I felt that there was a lack of opportunity to learn more about the tool if you realized there were things that did not work or were confusing.
"A solid solution for content management, full of useful features and tools"
Overall: CoreMedia is a valid solution for content management and providing omnichannel experiences. In the last months it has been essential in our digital strategy to create a more targeted customer experience, although the learning curve may be more complex than other systems.
Pros: The e-commerce platforms integration is the greatest strength, we can connect content directly to our product catalog engaging customer experiences. Real time preview of contents across various platforms is also extremely functional.
Cons: The learning curve can be quite complex, our team needed weeks to best configure the platform settings. Prices can be expensive for small businesses.
"A powerful CMS platform, particularly suitable for large businesses"
Overall: It's been used for almost a year to improve the online content distribution. As a music producer was useful to promote music on various platforms (social media, streaming services, websites, etc.), the CoreMedia app ensured that content was optimized and delivered consistently all over these channels.
Pros: Powerful and fast API framework for developers. It can handle large volumes of content without affecting performance.
Cons: For reasons of cost and complexity, maybe it's not the most suitable system for small businesses/startups which serve more basic functions, but surely an excellent system for larger businesses.
