Excellent app with the best customer service of any product we've encountered. Chckvet is responsive and offers to do the leg work for us and/or train us to do what we want.

Pros

Excellent customer support and a steady stream of additional features. We had tried Vello and were disappointed. We use Chckvet for real time texting, booking appointments, appointment deposits, forms, etc. It works seamlessly with our PIMS which is Ezyvet. It is easy for our staff to use.

Cons

No cons at this time. They are constantly adding features as fast as we can imagine we want something. They recently added forward scheduled custom texts.

It was rocky at first but I lean towards thinking that was my age bracket because once I got the help I needed from them and my IT department things started to roll great and I have been learning new things daily and our staff love using it and so do our clients!

Pros

We like chckvet over what we had been using because it is easy to use, has great customer support and our clients love the self scheduling feature. We have started to use the online forms and that is amazing too! It is a great value for the cost!

Cons

I honestly didnt like setting it all up and getting used to it for about 2 weeks I felt sort of lost but once I got the hang of figuring things out and how to reach out easily through the help button I have been learning new things every day

Pros

ChckVet has been worth every penny! I switched about a month or so ago from another company and I will never look back. Their customer support is amazing and my questions are almost answered immediately. I can't even list all the features it has. It has cut down on phone calls coming in and the amount of time my CSR's are spending on the phone to collect information.

Cons

The learning curve isn't bad, but there is a lot to learn, but so worth the time and effort it takes to get it all set up. I have yet to find a true con.

Pros

It has helped us so much with appointment scheduling, reminders and giving clients a modern, online version for these services. The text abilities save us a ton of time as well.

Cons

I don't have any cons. The little things that we have had issue with get worked out quickly and there are continued updates/improvements every couple of months.

Pros

The ease of use. This is a great tool for any veterinary office. Clients LOVE it. Customer support is amazing too. I always get a quick response to any question or problems I have. It integrated nicely with my PIMS software. Not like other companies who say they integrate, but they don't really. This fully integrates. The price of it is unbeatable. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Cons

No cons. So far we have loved all aspects of it. Everything has been a breeze for us from setup to go live to follow up.

Pros

ChckVet is the ONLY provider we found to be smart, beefy, customizable, and with great enough service to allow us to FINALLY offer online booking. We have a large, 2 site privately owned general practice with 7 vets + physical rehab a cat wing. Our types and lengths of appointments, provider customizations, and clinic preferences are vast and ChckVet handles them no problem. Onboarding was truly easy and enjoyable for such a robust service, and the ChckVet team is responsive and solutions-oriented. The software integrates within our website and is speedy and intuitive. The ezyVet integration is truly a game-changer. Monthly cost is lower than their competitors for a better product. Highly recommend and will continue to use ChckVet.

Cons

Occasionally a booking glitch, but usually related to the parameters we set up not functioning exactly as we planned, and usually easy to fix.

Overall this experience has been great. Customer service is fantastic, training was easy to set up. Client side is easy to navigate as well.

Pros

I love how customizable it is for your clinic needs. Forms, branding, notification settings etc are all easy to adjust the wording & branding for.

Cons

I wish we could toggle the ability to accept appointments and set it for certain days like holidays.

Pros

Integrates well with our website and our practice management software. This platform has improved client experience and ease of scheduling. Appointments have increased since we launched this platform. Amazing customer support when things need to be updated. We are able to communicate with our client's and manage their accounts much easier.

Cons

No complaints so far. The onboarding experience has been very smooth and clients seem to really love the platform.

We've sampled just about EVERY communications platform there is for veterinary medicine and they either didn't function the way we needed them to, they were more directed towards human medicine, or they were extremely overpriced. When we sampled ChckVet (ChckUp), we were really impressed! Once we finally got everything set up the way we wanted it, we've loved it! There have been a few things we asked them to implement and they did it very quickly! The customer service is great and they're very easy to work with. We highly recommend ChckVet!

Pros

Easy to use. Amazing value for the money. Quick and effective customer support. Great communication platform for texting and emails. The email templates are customizable and have a very professional appearance. Pet Parent App Online scheduling

Cons

We wish they would offer bulk texting as SMS and not a push notification through the platform. Pretty time consuming to get set up correctly, but once it is set up, it works well.

We've been really happy with Chckup. The team actually knows what vet med folks need and want and that makes a huge difference. They're quick to respond and incredibly helpful.

Pros

We love how easy Chckup is to use! The customer support has been top notch and its integration with Cornerstone has saved our CSR team countless hours on the phone.

Cons

There really isn't anything that stands out as a point of diffuclty, and I've worked with many software systems over my 17 year vet med career. The only thing I wish it did was allow for grouping messages to be handled by specific groups.

Overall we couldn't be happier with ChckVet and would recommend them 10/10 to other hospitals. The 2-way texting and online booking platform have been a game changer for our staff and our clients.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] and the entire team at ChckVet has been absolutely amazing. Their customer support team is very responsive and is quick to attend to any questions and product enhancement suggestions. We love their product integration with ezyVet and 2-way texting, and our clients love the ease of appointment scheduling using their online booking platform.

Cons

The initial set up was a bit time consuming to make sure all of our forms and reminders were being sent correctly, however in our experience that is the case with the launch of any new software with a business.

I could not ask for a better company to work with. The software does some of the most important functions of our clinic. Trust is a major need, they have mine.

Pros

Ease of use compared to some of the “larger” competitors. Their support response and resolution is some of the best if not the best for any product I have ever worked with. Most of all they listen to the users and improve the product to meet their needs

Cons

Not really a con but the analytic section is not as smooth as the rest of the software. However, that does not mean it does not work. It provides amazing analytics. But in fairness I know they are working hard to improve this and knowing them it will be amazing.

Our practice is very happy with Chckvet so far. Everything is customizable to fit our needs. Customer service is quick to help when we have questions.

Pros

Chckvet makes schedule an appointment online fast and easy since it talks with our planning guides in Ezyvet. At the end of the day all of our client communication is saved into each patients file without having to copy and past every conversation.

Cons

We're a large practice so it took a little longer to sync all of our client data, but once that was done everything is working great!

They have been amazing, from their expertise, resourcefulness, ability to create new functionalities quickly, listening to what their clients want and need, and just overall a great company. They have the pulse on what vet practices need to leverage their technology to create efficiencies for the practice. They have continued to impress us at every level, we are so excited to go ALL IN with them and finally say goodbye to Pet Desk and other companies that have run stagnant with their functionalities for quite some time. PLUS, they are SUPER affordable. We LOVE CHCKUP!

Pros

Chckup is so user friendly, constantly evolving and adding functionalities to increase efficiencies, and they staff at Chckup are so helpful. We have been using their service for nearly a year, we started using them for our "behind the scenes" scheduling, but we are now fully transitioning to everything with them, allowing us to have ONE company that does it all for our vet hospital. We couldn't be happier and we tell all our VMG members about them!

There is absolutely NOTHING negative to say!

Vetstoria could not figure out how to manage our schedule with 2 columns of staggered appointments. Pet Desk has not evolved in the way we would have liked and they feel very comfortable with what they offer.

We came across Chckup as a listed partner for our PIMS, Shepherd, while searching for a live booking tool. We operate busy urgent care centers, and wanted to streamline booking, making the client experience more seamless, as well as reducing staff time for making and managing appointments. Chckup is always willing to listen to suggestions, pain points, and work towards a solution. My favorite interaction was last week, when I emailed development and support about a struggle we were having in the clinic, and they had already been working on a solution and presented it to us for feedback and collaboration. Great group to work with!

Pros

The product and development team is constantly improving functionality, highly collaborative with clients, and very responsive. The live-booking in our PIMS was our main draw to Chckup, wanting to avoid any waitlist management products, or non-fully integrated solutions that are highly inefficient and ineffective.

Cons

I was initially a little apprehensive about the monthly cost, but it has been more than worth the expense. Occasional small bugs in the platform arise—they are quickly addressed by the support/development team.
