It makes it easy to use and extremely helpful and time saving when dealing with a high number of meetings and allows you to look back over meetings without having to save the video resulting in lack of storage space. Cons The ONLY down side is that Fathom has to be admitted into the meeting and when you are on a call with people that don't know what fathom is they may think it is someone else. It's very easy to use and the summaries are succinct and linked to the part of the video so that i can go back and watch as needed. If I use Google Meet I have to wait a while before my recording is saved & processed before getting a link whereas with Fathom it's just there. This means my workflow is not interrupted and I can start analyzing calls immediately after I have them. when they are still fresh in my mind. Pros Realtime recording & processings, and analytics on talking time. Cons Adding to Google Meet is requires a request to join that must be accepted in another tab. I can easily search for something in my email and if it's in the recap it'll display. This is just one way I use the recaps. The AI is very effective for helping us remember what was said in the meetings and especially an ability to give next steps. It was easy to use and implement. The AI does a fantastic job of synthesizing video content and grouping sections by topic. I'm impressed. Cons The transcript is abbreviated on the summary page. It would be great to have an expanded view, similar to Adobe Premiere, where you could jump to the video by the sentence. Switched from [Descript](https://www.capterra.com/p/230702/Descript/) Fathom is directly integrated with Zoom. There are no additional steps. Also, it synthesizes the information automatically. I can review my notes at my own pace and send the meeting recording to my other attendees if need be. Pros I love the ease of use and ease of implementation. I use Fathom frequently at least twice a week sometimes daily. I found it very easy to install and the integration with Zom is fantastic. I really appreciate the features offered even as a free user and the ability to edit and send the notes to other attendees is fantastic. Cons I haven't come across any issues as of yet. I like that. In terms of a work process as well, it follows how I would do things. Recaps at the end of a meeting, recorded videos to watch back, and keynotes taken without me having to break focus off of my client. Pros I like the seamlessness of the tool and how it automatically connects to my Zoom meetings. I no longer have to use my pen to take notes when it does all the work for me. The users who see the AI-generated recaps and action items say it's almost like it's a human that's been taking notes. I don't have to stress about taking notes for my client calls and Fathom summarizes it perfectly. I am not nervous and trust Fathom to get the job done. Pros I love how accurate this note taker is! For work it allows me to just focus on my clients and not have to worry about looking down to take notes. It is super accurate with only the occasional vague notes about specific number details, but I would say 98% on point, plus there is always the video recording to reference back to. This has made work so much easier, quicker, and more accurate. I would highly recommend Cons The only improvement I would say is the detail to numbered items such as taking about weights. I can easily summarise the follow-up email and review the CTAs after the call is done. It is extremely efficient and it has saved me many hours of work.
