Pros It is really good at taking notes and categorizing them even with the general summary selected in the settings. I find it to be more accurate and insightful than otter.ai. When it is time for a meeting, Fathom pops up in the corner and lets me join through there, which makes me feel confident that fathom is joining and will take notes for me. Cons I feel like sometimes it does not join certain meetings and I am not sure why, but to combat this I always click join meeting through the Fathom pop up when a meeting is about to start. I've tried several and this has been the most intuitive and easy to use. Pros Fathom is by far the easiest AI notetaker to implement. The AI summary with action items is the best format I've seen, and I typically do not need to look at the specific transcript because the summary is enough to remind me of what I need to know. Cons The image of Fathom in the call is a little off-putting; some people have told me they didn't know what it was when it was in the waiting room. It would be nice to have a picture of the user (me) instead of the black box with text. Although I like using it myself, one of my favourite features is the ability to view Sales calls at a glance to get some quick hits on what's going well and what insights we can glean to apply to our Marketing efforts. Pros Fathom is easy to set up, and easier to use, giving you the flexibility to focus on talking and listening during meetings instead of taking notes. It also ensures you don't miss any key points, and even identifies action items to keep your team aligned and organized. Cons On occasion Fathom has been a little finicky to add to a meeting, and I don't like that I have to go through Fathom to get to certain meeting channels (i.e. Zoom). It's also not 100% accurate in how it transcribes data or how it attributes commentary to different people. It's not insurmountable, but it's not perfect. It was such a tedious and time consuming process before Fathom and now Fathom has made it so much more simpler. In a minute, we can share notes with team members. Also, the fact that Fathom supports notetaking in different European languages is a big boon. Integration took us just seconds. Can't recommend it enough. Very happy customer! Cons Nothing really. When finished I immediately get not only the video recording but a transcript and even a summary of the discussion Cons The only thing I don't like is that I didn't discover Fathom sooner! I can engage with committee members in meetings, I can highlight important conversations, and some of the new paid features are definitely a game changer. Pros From the moment I started using Fathom I finally felt like I could actually listen to our board meetings instead of trying to keep up with key information that I would need to finalize the minutes. Fathom has freed me up to not only listen but engage with my board members. The ability to highlight different conversations that are important or require action is a truly one of the best features! Cons I honestly cannot think of anything I don't like. Understanding that the technology is still new, it's difficult to know the platform as far as some of the misses you get with transcription. No more need to take notes. I can rewatch my calls, search for keywords in transcriptions, and skip right to that part of the call. Saves a ton of time, and I can focus on the meeting and not on making sure I write things down. I can also send links to recordings to other team members, and I can create highlights to send. Pros I can trust fathom that the note taking of my meetings is done properly, Also I love that I can just search for a word or phrase and I can see ALL the calls where that word or phrase has been said. Cons I would love to edit the videos easier, for example, I wanted to send a client an extract of something he/she said, I would love to just send him/her that clip. July 16, 2024 5.0 I've had an extremely positive experience with Fathom and have recommended it to others. It has been a game changer and has increased my productivity tremendously. Pros I love that Fathom is taking notes for me. I've struggled with focusing on meetings and wanting to take accurate notes. Now, I'm guaranteed I can focus on the meeting while Fathom takes care of the notes and action items. Signing up and getting started was super easy. I added the extension 10 minutes before the first call I used it on. I've used it in every important Google Meet I've had, and I have zero regrets. With Fathom, the process of getting meeting minutes/notes to the staff is such a breeze and quick now. Fathom has helped our company and office staff reduce the time it takes to transcribe Zoom conversations or important meetings. The customer service is always spectacular and prompt. Overall, my experience with Fathom has been extremely beneficial. Pros The most helpful feature Fathom offers is the dialogue tracker. When I am taking notes and miss something, I know that Fathom caught it and can go back and see what was said. I also really like the saving/sending options. It is so easy to navigate the platform, and I have always had wonderful customer service experiences with the team at Fathom. It's a great platform, and I am so thrilled with how helpful it is to me when notetaking during meetings or webinars. Cons The only note I have is when Zooming/Google Meeting with clients or partners, there is a screen designated for my Fathom Notetaker. Pros Fathom is a fantastic app that helps me manage my online meetings more efficiently. It records, transcribes, highlights, and summarizes my calls in minutes, so I can always remember what was said, even if I zoned out. It also creates beautiful reports that I can share with my clients or colleagues, and show them how much I know. Fathom is free, simple to use, and works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. It’s the best way to fake it till you make it. Customer Support is superb, they answer right away. It's also easy to use on my laptop (use windows 11). It is taking care of my note taking and making sure I don't miss any important pieces of information and give me the ability to 100% focus on the conversation with my customer. Support is excellent as well. Pros It is extremely accurate. At first I was heistant thinking it wouldn't do well with capturing the key point and statements made in my meetings but I was wrong. It was very detailed in capturing all the important information mentioned in my meetings and its summary is categorized and easy to read and navigate. So easy to use I don't need to do anything, it joins my meetings and sends me the summary once I'm finished. I always found it challenging to make sure I was taking detailed notes while trying to communicate with my customers but now I can focus my attention 100% on them and let Fathom do the note taking. Fathom produces a full summary of all my meeting and links stright. into our CRM salesforce. I can access the notes summary and points at any point so it's been great when doing follow up meetings and you have forgotten the origional conversation. It was also super easy to set up and link with our CRM so loved that. Any questions I had too were answered straight away. Fathom removed all that burden from us, as its unique tools helped us simplify the procedures, and the copying process became automated, which enabled us to write down everything and prepare it within the designated form so that we could follow it up accurately, and make the necessary updates in the upcoming meetings. Pros It is excellent to use Fathom to understand meetings in virtual reality, as we can, with simple steps, record video clips as well as calls directly and convert them into texts, which helps us to ensure that minutes of meetings are written accurately, without neglecting any details, even if they are small. Fathom is very easy to use, and I can organize everything saved within the records to go back and update my previous notes quickly. I appreciate how Fathom can engage with colleagues to ask for updates or get more clarification on specific points. Cons Fathom is very easy to use, and the dashboard is designed to help you quickly use all the functions; the subscriptions are affordable, and the free version provides many excellent services.
