Cons I feel like it's better than most software, it does not get names correct all the time but it's nothing major. April 12, 2024 5.0 It's been an amazing tool for me to better support my clients, and allows me to focus on the client and not so much trying to write down notes during my meetings. Pros As an Enterprise CSM, I have many conversations with big clients. Sometimes having many on my Zoom calls all at once. Fathom AI allows me to focus on my clients, actively listen better to them, and bring as much value to the meetings as possible. Fathom stays behind the scenes gathering all the Action Items, key take aways, and notes that I can gather and send a recap to the customer, and also log that recap in our other CRMs that we use. It is nice that it joins all meetings and is able to have the transcript, recording, key takeaways to do for the next meeting and topics within minutes of finishing a meeting. Also having it be super easy to use during and after the meeting is a big plus. I have used it in basically all my meetings, and I am very pleased with it, and so is everyone who I shared the call with. Also downloading and installing the software is super easy and straightforward. Cons I don't like the website interface and would like to initiate the meetings within the website rather than the overlay. Also, I would prefer a better landing page when going on the website. The first time I went on the website I was a bit confused as to what I can do and where everything is. Admittedly, I did not watch the tour video that was prompted when I first got there, but it should be more intuitive. I would also like it to be a bit easier to remove the notetaker from a meeting or stop the notetaker. Maybe their should be different settings if you were the host or if you are joining a meeting. Especially if you are late, it is a bit awkward that the notetaker automatically joins the call and starts recording when you are not suppose to. Review Source Steven Eugene K. I highly recommend it to anyone and it allows you to focus on the meeting and not worry about typing out your notes and intently listening! Pros It's easy and friendly to use, and after a couple of meetings, I was able to realise value. It generated the recording, summary and AI summaries within 3-4 minutes which is extremely fast. No longer do I have to wait for Zoom to generate the recording which took more than 40 mins! Cons The perspective of how the summaries are written. Although I save a lot of time, I still need to modify the wording when sharing notes with the customer or internally with my team. They've made it so easy for me to adopt into my discovery workflow and really easy to share the insights that I'm harvesting from conversations. Research participants show up to sessions having agreed to recordings and I can concentrate the precious time I have with them on learning from them, rather than doing admin and taking notes. They create a "zoom call" but it's prerecorded and you can test the functionalities while you're "on" a zoom call. Extremely well thought out. The transcription is excellent, you land in one click in exactly the right place. And I'm now spending much less time in call management Cons Tiny niggles: 1) I keep getting reminded how much I'm talking which is frankly sth I don't care about but I haven't figured out how to turn it off. 2) once I kicked out fathom out of a zoom call in one instance, I wanted to invite it back in but didn't know how. The pop-up disappears passed a couple of minutes. I'd love I could make it appear with a click. It was super easy for our whole organization to implement and use. Our team is spread out throughout the US and mostly remote, so having this for internal meetings has been a lifesaver. I love that not only does it summarize, but it will also provide a transcript that you can search for and provide a recording. It saves all recordings for you, and it's easy to send them to teammates. Its accuracy on the summarization is insane! It doesn't just write down what you said word for word; it summarizes in complete sentences, provides action items, etc. It truly blew my team away. It also aligns with your Outlook calendar and will update you when future meetings arise. We use it for most of our online meetings. Cons My only issue with Fathom is that sometimes it gets a little glitchy with Zoom calls. Or if I log onto a meeting that I dont want recorded it can take some time to remove it from the meeting. It is amazing not having to write meeting notes from scratch. Pros Each time I take a Zoom meeting, it automatically records and sends me a summary. I have found it so easy to use and the customer service has been more than I expected. I have been using it for the last 4 months and can't imagine doing business without it, saves me so much time and glad to have a record of meetings to look back on if needed too. Cons I have experienced some bugs with it loading on Zoom, and there is limited integration with Teams, but nothing too concerning. And the speed at which the recording link is available to instantly send to team members/clients. Cons I'd love to be able to add in my own action items. I know I can edit existsing ones, but I'm not seeing that we can add new ones that were missed. Also, I can't seem to edit anywhere else but the action items. Maybe I'm just missing it.
