Flowing with the documentation of progress and calls with my clients. It is seamless. Customer service is setting a new standard. Absolutely amazing. Pros I love how at the end of a meeting I can instantaneously share the recording with participants. WONDERFUL TIME SAVER! Also I love the transcription. It is so helpful to be able to scroll through the content to find the spot I'm looking for. And the video is pretty amazing too. Cons I don't prefer how it takes up a window of its own on zoom calls. Pros The cloud recording is just awesome, this is a handy feature and that's not even speaking of the AI features such as rich summary and transcript function! Cons The odd time, Live Stream cloud recording (still in beta) seems to fail without rime or reason and manually restarting it is hit/miss. Saves me hours and also allows me to relax and just listen to my clients Pros I work as a leadership consultand and also have a lot of one on one coaching with many of the leaders on the team..Fathom has saved me so much time after calls when I would have to go through pages of notes from the call. It also allows me to be much more present and listening on the call. I am now using it every day on every call internally and externally. Love it It was also so easy to install on zoom and then on teams . It even pops up and reminds me about calls that are coming up. March 14, 2024 5.0 Using Fathom is saving me time having to take notes manually, and makes it super easy to share calls after the meeting. I now can easily send a recording and meeting summary as soon as the meeting is over, and jump to specific reference points throughout the call. This is saving me significant time in writing up meeting summaries and sending followups. Pros Using fathom has helped my organization and follow up after meetings as a project manager. The tool was easy to set up and configure, and joins my meetings to record without me having to do anything. I use the highlight and bookmark tool to note important areas of a call that I want to point out or reference later, and the AI summarized meeting notes are super helpful in sending out meeting summaries. Such a great tool that has allowed me to save time and be engaged on meetings without having to be taking detailed notes at the same time. I finish a meeting and simply copy/paste the meeting summaries to share with all the attendees. Bingo! Pros Fathom is a game changer. It has me hooked. It's best feature is the premium AI Summary template. It's simply brilliant.It's so good that I tried to recreate those summaries using every AI model I know of, from Gemini Advanced, Chat GPT -4 to Perplexity Pro. Nothing matches it! And the hyperlinking from the summary bullets to the transcript is so handy! The service is pretty much free, which is awesome. But here's the kicker – those mind-blowing AI summaries? Yeah, they're behind a paywall. Honestly, I would have never thought of subscribing to it but they let me get a taste of those premium AI summaries for so long during the trial that now I can't imagine my life without it! Smart move, Fathom. You've got me! Cons At this point it's tough to find something I don't like about Fathom. If anything this is more of a feature I wish they had. The ability to upload your own videos and have them transcibed and summarized by Fathom's brainy AI. That'd be the cherry on top. Hopefully they will add this capability soon! It allows me to fully focus and be present; the best thing one can be. It also have great features which are versatile and useful for all kinds of meetings. Pros As a business owner who wears many hats, Fathom has become an incredibly valuable tool for our hybrid work. The summaries, which arrive instantaneously in my inbox, highlight things I'd usually forget. They jot down important CRM info that allows us to deepen our relationships without loads of spreadsheets and documents that remain un-updated as time goes on. The monologue alerts and talking time % guide every type of call I have, from sales to services, empowering me to focus and be present completely. Aside from the product, the team is great. Super kind, communicative, and despite being an AI tool, it's human. Ultimately, Fathom provides the freedom of focus, which is the best gift a busy person can get! Cons The user interface isn't super intuitive at first, it takes a few clicks to familiarize yourself with how it works (but after that, it's a breeze). There is room for improvement with their branding and digital presence. It integrates easily with Zoom, Google meet, and Hubspot. Their Al summaries cannot be beat. I've seen summaries from other vendors and Fathom's are by far the best. Its really been a breath of fresh air not to have to take such detailed notes on ever call. I can now just listen to the call and click on action items as they come up knowing that I will get a really good summary of the call afterwards. The call summaries include action items and next steps. Fathom has been super helpful for repeat meetings to quickly review what happened in the last meeting. They also make it easy to share videos with other colleagues. Cons If I'm being nit picky, we some times have multiple team members on the same zoom call. I am able to stop fathom from joining the call but I wish there was a setting so that I could prevent my Fathom account from joining the call if another member on my team was already recording the call. Before, I used to write tedious notes about each call I have. Now, I can just paste the Fathom call recording link into my CRM to refer back to later. It also produces a full transcript, as well as executive summary with actionable items broken out. Very positive experience.. used the free trial and ended up upgrading to the paid plan. Pros \- Generates full transcript that you can edit, which would edit the video (great to cut out banter while waiting for all attendees) - The summary structure for the call is top notch.. used to be okay, but now they've done a REALLY good job of breaking down the video into action points - Easy to setup and use.. just install an app and it auto-works. Pros I love the fact that Fathom gives me the exact time when a topic has been talked about during my sessions, thanks to that I can recall to all of this topics without having to watch the entire record. Connecting Fathom with Zoom was really easy and it works everytime, I currently use it in my day by day in my consulting sessions and as well in the classes I give, my students love knowing in which time we talked about a specific question! Cons The only thing I would love Fathom to improve is that the summary is english even when my meetings are in spanish, but I've asked costumer service about it and they told me they're working on it! It transforms our entire process for taking, reviewing, and following up after meetings. It has saved us countless headaches. Pros It literally does precisely what it says it will. It easily records, transcribes, and provides access to the recordings right after your zoom call. It is simple to use and makes taking notes on zoom calls something I'm not buried by in every meeting. Cons There's not a lot to dislike. The team is highly responsive, the product has virtually no glitches, it's constantly being improved by their team, and fits easily into my workflow.
