I can simply copy and paste notes from the meeting directly into my CRM. The AI does an awestriking summary job. Also, you can skim through your calls to find specific parts of your conversation you might want to hear again. Cons Can't think of anything. It would be nice if the fathom recorder could be automatically admitted into Zoom Meetings instead of separately. Sometimes it gets left out if someone else is the owner of the meeting. But I understand why that would be a challenge to implement, or even impossible. Switched from [Otter](https://www.capterra.com/p/202799/Otter/) I was simpler to utilize and implement. Pros I love that you have a log of all meetings you do. It is 2024, multiple people use zoom and teams for conversations. The recording and transcriptions are the best features Fathom has. December 18, 2023 5.0 Pros I love that with Fathom, I can ensure all of my Zoom calls are recorded so that I can go back and reference them in the future. One of the nicest features is being able to search the call transcription for certain words, so I can skip ahead to the exact sections I need to rewatch. Fathom also makes it incredibly easy to share video links. Cons Every once in a while, Fathom will leave my Zoom and re-enter it, but this does not happen often. I'm super happy with it and look forward to being a continued customer. Pros I have 4+ hours of Zoom meetings every day and need tools to help ensure I can efficiently get my work done during my non-meeting hours. Fathom's note-taking and recordings make it easy to get quality notes that I can share with others to help my performance and decrease my time. The first product overview call you get after signing up changed everything for me - they made it clear that you need to use the product a few times to get the hang of it and now I'm a life. The AI product updates are incredible - I love it WAY More and signed up for premium happily. Amazing bang for buck. Cons It can't replace me (YET!) lol. My only downside is when someone uses screenshare the fathom app can't also appear. Note sure if there are ways to embed it more directly into Zoom. Review Source NM Nick M. Pros I love that we get an instance transcript as well as the ability to mark certain actions during the call. This serves both as a great way to quickly identify what happened but also an easy way to serve up to our clients what happened. Cons Nothing in all honesty. I think this is a great platform and it should be something any client-facing businesses use. The turnover of sending meeting highlights the same day is also super powerful! Pros I would spend so much time taking notes during call and not being in the moment. This has freed me up to not have to rewatch an hour long meeting and instanly share action items and summary. I am also a big fan of how resposive the Fathom feedback team is. I get responses in a few hours for suggestions on how to improve the software. I use Fathom on ever virtual meeting I am in now! Cons The only downside to using Fathom is the organization of my video files. I wish they had a folder management system in the software. I think this is bein worked on however. Pros I really like the summaries it creates. This service has cutdown on my note meeting taking time and has allowed me to focus on the call without the fear of forgetting next steps or important points of discussion. I really like the integration with zoom as it is what we use at my company. Cons I like the service a lot, my only recommendation is for them to make the settings even easier to edit, sometimes it can be hard to change your preferences, but overall I think it is a service that was really needed. The notes that are taken and the key take aways are exactly what i need after calls with my customers and prospects. The highlight feature during calls make following up on key issues much easier. Cons The only downside I can think of is when integrating with salesforce, Fathom can create too many unnecessary tasks to follow up on. I have recommended it to everyone I know and will be using it when I teach English in my time off and for every other time I use video conferencing platforms. Pros I love that I do not have to worry about it, you set it up at the beginning and then that's it, it follows you into every meeting (unless you 'tell' it not to) records, gets a transcript and produces a summary. Long gone are the days where taking minutes was a hassle. The main benefit of Fathom for me is the ability to provide a ton of value for my consulting clients with minimal effort on my end after the call. Cons Waiting for the ClickUp integration.
