Cons Fathom only sees the attendees on the invite, not who actually shows up to a meeting. So, it may show someone in attendees who wasn't on the meet or it may not show people who were on the meet. What a relief to actually engage and listen during a conversation — knowing Fathom has my back. I love how it arranges and summarizes topics — even though the conversation bounces around (like humans) in a far less organized way. Having the video, transcrip, notes summary is a game changer. And it couldn't be easier to use. I mean "use" isn't even an accurate term because once it's set up you don't have to do a thing to "use" it. Cons I wish I could come up with downsides... but really... I've found none so far. Maybe that they don't offer SRT files... Review Source RO Rebekah O. I had questions about my first recording and the customer service representative quickly responded and walked me through what to do. Pros I love the accuracy of the recordings and call summaries. I can quickly review them and send along to my team and client immediately! Cons I really don't have a con for Fathom. December 19, 2023 5.0 Pros Fathom makes it so I don't have to remember to hit record, I don't have to remember all the action items from a meeting, I can quickly scrub through a transcript, with a video, and share that info with participants in a meeting. It makes it incredibly efficient and I love it. Easily works with Zoom and Goole Meet – and while I have yet to try Teams, I'm sure it works just fine. Took next to no time to implement with our organization. I use it for all big meetings when I need to take notes, which is quite often. Cons I wish there was a way to not have the Fathom AI up awkwardly as a participant in Zoom and Google Meet. But I get that it's probably a privacy stipulation. I'd rather have a banner message or notification go to all participants at the start of the meeting saying "this is being recorded" like zoom does. But it's not a huge deal. Sometimes it doesn't start automatically but it does always prompt me whether I want to hit record, which is good. Overall, I love it. Review Source BC Ben C. Pros Fathom works really well with Zoom. Whenever I hop on a call with customers I activate the app and start recording. When I close the meeting the app has a send recording feature that let's me easily distribute the record of the meeting to customers for their reference. It helps us keep track of details. Pros Easily generate and copy notes (product, general, customer success) , and automates syncs with our CRM (HubSpot). Cons AI mistakes - sometimes the notes have errors when it comes to labelling other platforms (we have seen cases were CLIO gets labelled as LAWMATICS???) . Pros Easy to use, great customer support, always pops up as a reminder to start recording, secure, easily installed on your computer, lots of different features you can use during meetings to pinpoint discussion notes. Can use it for all of my TEAMS and ZOOM meetings. Cons So far so good! Cons If I had to pick one qualm it would be the change in detailed summaries presented following the end of a call.
