I know that after ever call i will have all the data I need to write solid proposals. Cons Didn't have it sooner. It would have made life at work much easier. Allows me to participate in the meetings rather than just listening and typing. Pros I like the summary version of the notes as it provides a clear purpose, key takeaways, discussion topics and action items. Cons I did have to switch to a paid subscription to get the summary version of the notes. It was well worth the cost to me but if i didn’t want to I could still get the chronological one for free. Transcription is accurate. Makes video calls a breeze! Don't have to worry about missing anything important. Pros Easy to setup, use, and navigate. The Key Takeaways are very helpful! Also love the AI generated summaries. I also really enjoy being able to fully focus on the meeting without worrying about have to take notes and missing something. Cons The Fathom extension is quite distracting sometimes, and if I'm already in a zoom call before enabling Fathom, it redirects me to a browser before joining the call. Would be great if it doesn't have to do that. Sometimes transcripts also fail to pick up on a part of a conversation. While it's still recorded and the audio is available, this makes it harder to search through the transcript. Review Source JG Jessica G. December 18, 2023 5.0 Pros The most helpful thing about using Fathom is I don't have to worry about taking notes during my discovery calls... Fathom takes them for me! I've been able to get my full focus back during my calls which has been incredibly valuable. Cons I haven't found a dislike at this time so nothing to write here.
