March 10, 2025 5.0 Saw fathom in action from a colleague using the notetaker. Quickly set up my account and begin using it in less than a couple of mins. Smart AI organizes the action items and sends the recap to all participants. Pros I love the recap of the action from Fathom that is sent to all participants. I'm surprised and impressed at how accurate and organized the items are. Cons This is super minor, but I wish that transcripts were more front-and-center or that the process of downloading them was seamless. Pros The Fathom Customer Service is out of this world. I have never downloaded a tool and had a service team that was so available and willing to help. I love that they connect with Hubspot and help with sales. Their AI emails can even be framed into specific sales frameworks. Cons There is not an in person meeting function. March 18, 2025 4.0 It's really easy to use and a product I have no problems recommending on to others. I use it with my team and those that I coach as well. Pros It provides really good summaries and action points. And I often find myself reading things I actually missed in the meetings. But my favourite use is in training my team and reviewing their presentations - the highlight feature allows to be break apart a presentation and train with precision. Cons AI can be pretty lousy on non-standard names... and I have one of those. So do many of my team. Review Source JM Jay M. No more sticky notes and overflowing agendas. Pros The Summary is always spot on and skips all of the pleasentries and dead air. You even receive an email with an abbreviated meeting summary. What is MOST beneficial to me and other members of my team is the "Action Items" at the bottom of the summary that are also time-stamped with the recording from the call. There is even a transcript to get granular if you need to reference something directly that was said during a meeting. Cons Comparatively, I have yet to find a downside from the 16 calls I've recorded over the past 3 weeks. Review Source EH Edward H. It allows you to save time and be more productive throughout the day. Pros Fathom allows me to put 100% of my focus into my meeting, knowing that I will come away with a detailed record of the contect of the meeting. It is also very easy to use and can be a great tool as an additional way to remind yourself of upcoming meetings. It was extremely easy to set up and begin using with our existing systems we have in place (mainly teams and zoom). Cons I would reccommend reviewing key pieces of information from the reports, to ensure that the correct data is gathered. Ocassionally, one or two words may be blended or confused, however, the way it summurizes the key points is excellent. Review Source DS Daniel S. Pros Very easy to use and I love the meeting recap with actionable items for each team member. If someone isn't present and mentioned they can see items of ownership. I hadn't heard of it, but he said it was an easy install and setup. I had an 8:30 Zoom meeting scheduled at my office. I arrived at my office at 8:17am, and between 8:18 and 8:30 I not only got Fathom set up and installed, but I was even able to get a cup of coffee before my meeting started. And then afterward, when I saw my first summary and action items, I realized my professional life was forever changed. Pros The note-taking ability, the way it so incredibly helpfully and accurately parses out what was discussed into logical segments, and provides the key takeaways into a way not just that I can easily read, but helps me remember what happened, especially in a long and involved meeting. It is going to change the way my sales staff works... not only will my tech-phobic employees find it super-simple to install and use, but the clients will be incredibly impressed with what my staff will be able to provide them. It's all about looking, and being, professional! I used it three times the very first day, and came out forever changed. I also love that it automatically sends the summary emails and easily registers meetings on Zoom and Google Meets. I use Fathom with every call on Zoom and Google Meets now. It easily integrates with my calls, and I'm able to implement tasks quickly and effectively. This may not be for some but I love the fathom pop-up notifications when I have a zoom meeting about to start. I'm never late to a call anymore. It runs well and gives a great summary of the important points of the meeting, grouping them by topic. It's amazing how clearly the AI summaries come out with highlights and action items. Pros It does an amazing job of capturing what's really important during my meetings, not just giving a summary of every single thing that's said like many other AI notetakers. I use it almost every day now and it's great! Cons I wish I could use Fathom for in-person notetaking. Most of my calls are via zoom, but some of my most important take place in person and I really miss my notetaker there! Fathom has exceeded expectations and myself and clients alike are very impressed. Pros The quick delivery of meeting summaries including bullet point summary and specific action points which during our test have been completely accurate. Having trialled this with my coaching practice both myself and my clients have been very impressed. The free trial was easy to implement and we have used it with Zoom and Teams. It automatically joins meetings and waits for my attendees to join before starting to record. I am using Fathom one very session now most days. It has actually been a pleasure going to meetings now and the ability to review them over and over or share them is perfect. Pros The ease of use and the auto share to participants stand out. The whole platform is user friendly and for a computer inept person like myself those 2 should be enough. But then you add the fact it pulls out key notes and even gives suggestions for follow ups, taking note taking to the next level. Cons I do not need the $300 electronic note book I purchased !
