October 24, 2024 5.0 I no longer have to listen to recordings to take notes for meeting recaps. It is all done for me by Fathom. Fathom does an incredible job at summarizing the call, listing the main speaking points reviewed on the call, documenting the actions conveyed on the call and who owns them. I can even highlight certain speaking points with custom tags as needed (i.e. needs review, feedback, etc). I also no longer have to deal with the hassle of granting access to folders and recordings to each user on a call. It is automatically done for me by Fathom. Fathom provides a preference to automatically send the meeting recap, with video and transcription. Pros Every time I receive a call summary from Fathom I am floored at how accurate it is at summarizing the call, capturing all the main speaking points in detail, the action items and who owns them. I love the fact I can set a preference to automatically send the recap, video and transcript to all call participants. Bottom line, it saves me an immense amount of time, allowing me to focus on other value add priorities. Cons The only downside (and it is minimal) would be the slight delay between the time of starting the meeting and being prompted to add the note taker to my Teams meeting.
