I think it's easy to use and downloading the script is neat. Pros I liked that it did well with transcribing the meeting. This helped me focus on the meeting and not on taking notes. However, fathom is able to pick up all of this language and articulate it perfectly! I also love how seamlessly it integrates with zoom or teams. Pros The transcriptions have always been spot on, but the summaries are my favorite part. You can prepare one for basically any use case, and they're highly accurate. User interface is easy to use and clean. We love it. Cons I don't have anything I dislike abou t it, fits all on my needs and mre. November 19, 2024 5.0 Fathom works really well and helps me keep track of lectures; I use this software to supplement my notes in class. The transcript feature helps me build a collection of typed notes that I can put into an ai database and ask questions when studying. Fathom is incredibly useful for college students! Pros I like the AI meeting summary and transcript! It makes integrating with study software very easy. I also really like the feature that lets you ask AI about the information from the transcript. Cons I haven't had too many issues so far. I think it would be cool to have a version of Fathom made specifically for students-- something to interface with common university software like D2L and Canvas. It works well as is though. Cons As usual, the best features are pay-walled but that is somewhat to be expected. The AI implemented in the software is truly impressive; it generates high-quality notes and summaries, organizes by topics, and identifies action items Pros The entire app is very well-designed; each feature works as it should, and it’s clear that a lot of work has gone into the user experience. The initial installation is very easy, at least on a Windows notebook where I tested it, and my colleagues with the same operating system had a similar experience. It is very, very effective for taking notes and allowing me to stay present in meetings where I need to build rapport with clients. Pros Ease of use, fast installation, summary of meetings as well as overall transcription. Cons It would be great for it to sit in the background more on Teams calls and not appear as another person. Pros Fathom makes it so easy to follow up after meetings. The AI note taking is second to none. It understands everything and the action points it shares are always accurate. Cons Once it's connected to your zoom acocunt, it will want to open for every call. I'd like more control over which zoom accounts (if you have multiple) it's connected to. " October 16, 2024 5.0 It automatically starts at the moment of the meeting and it is unobtrusive. It captures the minutes and important action keys with impressive accuracy and reliability. One thing that really impressed me is that I had a meeting in Spanish with customers from Spain and Mexico, and even through they have different accents, it still provided me with an accurate summary of the meeting in English. I am using it for all my meetings. Pros It is easy to install and setup, it took me less than 5 minutes for the whole process. Now I can focus on the client or candidate and know that Fathom is picking up all the details I will need post meeting. Pros As a Sr. Technical Recruiter, having virtual meetings with Human Resources or the Technical HIring Manager, I used to take a lot of notes because in IT, there are so many different tools, db's, infrastructure, languages and past experience my client needs in a resource request. Fathom, using AI, distills the relevant details down to a summary that gives me the opportunity to interact with my clients 1 to 1, without taking notes. It's invaluable! Cons No downsides for me! Fathom has saved me a ton of time on the after-meeting work required to keep a sales cycle moving. It also helps me fill my supervisors in on key details. Pros The meeting being recorded is most helpful. Also Fathom breaking down the meeting with time stamps with titles of the different parts of the discussion.
