It reliably supplements and also simplifies my note-taking efforts, enabling me to be more present in meetings rather than scramble to catch and record every detail in my notes. If I miss something, I can go back and find it almost instantly. That is a game-changer in so many ways. Pros I love efficiency, and Fathom is a huge productivity booster. The transliteration quality alone blows away the competition (at least the half-dozen other products I’ve tried personally), and is available to the free version. Other top features for me: meeting summary (A+), text search synced to video, highlighting tools, overall user interface, and seriously top-notch customer service. They’re doing almost everything right (so far). Cons No trash bin and lack of customizable settings (although it’s simplicity is arguably part of the appeal). Review Source TF Tony F. Onboarding was fun and I feel like their enablement helped me become a power use fast. Pros I love how Fathom is like an extra assistant that takes notes on everything covered in my meetings, allowing me to focus on the meeting and not on scribbling down notes. The ability to go back to any call at a later date and have a perfect transcription, timestamps, summaries, the video recording, and the integrations... it's become a superpower for productivity for me. Cons Nothing! The tool is more powerful than any other one I've used so far. It renders the whole conversation with almost no mistakes, plus a short summary which is great for getting a quick feel for the whole conversation. Pros With one click I record a zoom call and difficult to forget as it shows as a participant. When finished I immediately get not only the video recording but a transcript and even a summary of the discussion Cons The only thing I don't like is that I didn't discover Fathom sooner! I can engage with committee members in meetings, I can highlight important conversations, and some of the new paid features are definitely a game changer. Pros From the moment I started using Fathom I finally felt like I could actually listen to our board meetings instead of trying to keep up with key information that I would need to finalize the minutes. Fathom has freed me up to not only listen but engage with my board members. The ability to highlight different conversations that are important or require action is a truly one of the best features! Cons I honestly cannot think of anything I don't like. Understanding that the technology is still new, it's difficult to know the platform as far as some of the misses you get with transcription. No more need to take notes. I can rewatch my calls, search for keywords in transcriptions, and skip right to that part of the call. Saves a ton of time, and I can focus on the meeting and not on making sure I write things down. I can also send links to recordings to other team members, and I can create highlights to send. Pros I can trust fathom that the note taking of my meetings is done properly, Also I love that I can just search for a word or phrase and I can see ALL the calls where that word or phrase has been said. Cons I would love to edit the videos easier, for example, I wanted to send a client an extract of something he/she said, I would love to just send him/her that clip. Cons I honestly haven't encountered a downside yet. With Fathom, the process of getting meeting minutes/notes to the staff is such a breeze and quick now. Fathom has helped our company and office staff reduce the time it takes to transcribe Zoom conversations or important meetings. The customer service is always spectacular and prompt. Overall, my experience with Fathom has been extremely beneficial. Pros The most helpful feature Fathom offers is the dialogue tracker. When I am taking notes and miss something, I know that Fathom caught it and can go back and see what was said. I also really like the saving/sending options. It is so easy to navigate the platform, and I have always had wonderful customer service experiences with the team at Fathom. It's a great platform, and I am so thrilled with how helpful it is to me when notetaking during meetings or webinars. Cons The only note I have is when Zooming/Google Meeting with clients or partners, there is a screen designated for my Fathom Notetaker. Fathom also allows me to share the recordings and summaries with others who couldn’t attend the meeting or want to review it. Fathom is saving me from embarrassment and confusion. Pros Fathom is a fantastic app that helps me manage my online meetings more efficiently. It records, transcribes, highlights, and summarizes my calls in minutes, so I can always remember what was said, even if I zoned out. It also creates beautiful reports that I can share with my clients or colleagues, and show them how much I know. Fathom is free, simple to use, and works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. It’s the best way to fake it till you make it. Customer Support is superb, they answer right away. It's also easy to use on my laptop (use windows 11). Cons The notes could be a little more intuitive, but honestly I have 0 complaints. It's made my life worlds easier, and now my clients can watch our trainings back if they forget something. It is taking care of my note taking and making sure I don't miss any important pieces of information and give me the ability to 100% focus on the conversation with my customer. Support is excellent as well. Pros It is extremely accurate. At first I was heistant thinking it wouldn't do well with capturing the key point and statements made in my meetings but I was wrong. It was very detailed in capturing all the important information mentioned in my meetings and its summary is categorized and easy to read and navigate. So easy to use I don't need to do anything, it joins my meetings and sends me the summary once I'm finished. I always found it challenging to make sure I was taking detailed notes while trying to communicate with my customers but now I can focus my attention 100% on them and let Fathom do the note taking. Fathom produces a full summary of all my meeting and links stright. into our CRM salesforce. I can access the notes summary and points at any point so it's been great when doing follow up meetings and you have forgotten the origional conversation. It was also super easy to set up and link with our CRM so loved that. Any questions I had too were answered straight away. Would highly reccomned this tool, it's been a must in my frequent sales process. Cons Genuinely no compliants as it stands, loved using it. Super user friendly.
