Overall, Vanillasoft is a solid sales engagement platform that delivers great value for money, especially for teams focused on outbound calling and lead follow-up. Customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, and onboarding resources are helpful. Once configured, it really boosts productivity and lead conversion rates.

Pros

Vanillasoft makes it easy to manage leads and automate follow-up tasks. The workflow automation saves a lot of time, and the interface is straightforward once you get used to it. I especially liked the call queue feature, it ensures reps never miss a lead and keeps outreach consistent. Their security features, including user permissions and data access controls, also inspire confidence.

Cons

The reporting tools could be more customizable. Some analytics are locked behind higher tiers, and integrating with other CRMs or marketing tools sometimes requires manual setup or third-party connectors. The learning curve for new team members can also be a bit steep. also Clarity is dope.

### "Rudimentary At Best."

The learning curve of to this program is that you need to memorize the ways that its bad so that you can work around the issue before it even presents itself. I should have to copy every email before I send it, in fear that the whole system is going to crash out the second I hit send. I'm honestly not the hugest fan of the program. It's very much not a user friendly platform in a lot of ways including the fact that literally everything HAS to be resulted to be moved/we cannot just drag and drop it. It's also incredibly inconvenient that your text platform is basically useless in most ways.

Pros

If I'm being honest, I don't really like anything about Vanilla Soft. Every single aspect of it is rudimentary at best.

Cons

If I have multiple people texting me, when a new message comes in, the other message fully disappears and if I'm not paying attention, my message is now being sent to someone that it has NOTHING to do with. We cannot receive photos. The phones and they're ability to call and it go through is a mess 9 times out of 10. If you email someone with another person cc'ed and one of the emails is wrong/bounces... NOW YOU CAN'T EMAIL EITHER OF THEM without getting Vanilla Soft involved. All of the improvements that have been rolled out have actually made pretty much EVERYTHING significantly WORSE.

Cons

Pros

I love how easy the setup is with calling leads and dispositioning them to their appropriate category.

Cons

I do not have any issues with Vanillasoft it's very easy to call the leads and really the only problem is the mindset I can have at times.

### "Effective As A Dialer, Could Be More Effective With A Couple Add Ons"

VanillaSoft is an effective tool as a simple dialer. It would be even more effective if there was a CRM built in and a way to upload multiple phone numbers and email addresses for each lead so that the user can text and email multiple numbers and addresses.

Pros

I appreciate the effectiveness of VanillaSoft as a dialer system. I can easily move through leads. It is simple and easy to use.

Cons

It is not easy to see where you are in a group of leads. It would be more effective if there were some type of CRM built in. Also, I would absolutely LOVE to be able to text more than one number for the same contact. I have looked into and used other platforms because I often have leads who have multiple cell numbers and I have to text them all. So, currently I have to duplicate my leads w/ a different phone number for each contact so that I can text each phone number. Same with emails.

I started with Vanilla Soft, switched to GoHighLevel and am considering switching back to VS due to some issues w/ GHL and their ATP approval. Everything else about GHL is on point. Campaign management, customization, lead organization, reports and analytics. Those are all things VS is missing and why I switched to GHL.

Great customer support, client support & integrity. Highly recommend this platform to other businesses looking to grow & support an advanced sales structure & keep track of appointments, leads, and organizational needs.

Cons

Not all of the reps on the phone have the same skill set/ depth of knowledge base. It all depends on who picks up the phone, how much support you receive.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of managing my business through a CRM system that is easy to learn, and not too coded. Easier to manage.

Cons

That Accounting takes their time to get back to you on Payment errors that slow down my business!!!!

It moves to your next call without having to analyze your calendar constantly easy to change/edit scripts and emails

Cons

good! It has helped keep me afloat and has paid for itself time and time again, I highly recommend vanilla soft for anyone balling on a budget.

Pros

amount of leads it has access too and the integrations available to fit into it from Nextgen, marketplace, CRMs for texting ect...

Cons

lots of unhealthy individuals who are frustrated and have been called a lot is the biggest thing, but that just comes with it, got to dig through sand and dirt to find the gold!

What I like most about VanillaSoft is that it is user-friendly and easy to manage all of my leads.

Cons

The only thing that I like least about VanillaSoft is that there is no video conferencing built in to the platform.

Ease of use, Being able to get messages sent to my email when I am off line has been quote helpful with being able to reach clients

As far as a CRM I dont have many complaints, and I have been using this for a few years now and have been over satisfied

The record opportunity. And the idea of the next best clients to service. The ability to edit data and leep track of the conversation without sticky notes. Email clients having them email back and SMS both are game changing 🙌🏾

Cons

With Remote operations become more common...it's my current clients that feel the bite in that I sometimes am not sure how to help them sign correctly. I need customer support sometimes later than 5pm. What times are reps available for customer support

Customizable features are nice, but tech support is sometimes lacking. I am fairly new to using the software so am looking forward to becoming more efficient.

Pros

Makes dialing faster when working correctly, makes multitasking easier, ability to input information quickly vs. writing.

Cons

Some support staff weren't able to help. I was disappointed when issues were blamed on my computer specs and took my computer in to be evaluated and found that not to be the case.
