Using Phrase saved us so much money and time that it cant be overstated. I'm really happy that we dedicated time to integrate as the investment paid off big time. Pros As a product marketing manager, Phrase lets me easily manage new translation requests and involve people from other departments to collaborate. Phraseapp is very intuitive with project management dashboard, translation history, or option to add a screenshot so everyone working with you know exactly where your string will appear. On top of this, I like how the UI looks. It's very competent yet not distracting so you can focus on a task at hand. Cons I cant really say there is something I dislike. Phraseapp is clean and easy to use so thumbs up. One thing that could be added is that when you search for a string, you could see immediately "last update date" so if you have multiple same strings, you don't have to go into each one by one and look it up in details. I easily can use the data saved in Phrase with other tools like Zendesk. I would strongly recommend it to any company dealing with translations coming from different departments. Pros It is very easy to create a project and then share it to get the work done. In my company, one project involves many different departments and PhraseApp makes it a seamless and efficient way to get the work done with just one link. I had surely saved us a lot of time. I can remember before Phrase when we used shared docs, allowing different accesses one by one and then doing all the monkey task manually. This has definitely improved our workflow and efficiency. Cons It took me a long time to discover the "history" tool with suggestions from previous translations. It is very useful and I would have liked to use it earlier. Review Source MF Marco F. Since we integrated Phrase with our CI/CD pipelines we don't need to be dependant on other people translating texts anymore and delaying our releases. Pros How easy it is to setup multiple teams and ensure the required parties are notified when a new translation is required on a specific key! Intuitive and fast interface! In my case, Phrase's flexible API makes it easy to integrate with other flows and include translations in automated build processes, for instance. Cons Nothing really. Since we started using Phrase it improved a lot our workflows. Especially Excel-exports/uploads enables to integrate business stakeholders without giving access / special training to Phraseapp directly. - Support is very helpful and incredibly fast but sometimes the chat-popup are annoying / can not be closed permanently - Easy stakeholder involvement due to easy and clear UI and great export features. - Process speed is highly increased, reduced costs due to Phraseapp becoming more and more the only solution Cons \- Would wish bulk export/upload of several locales. That's really important if you have a multilingual website. Also, they support agents reply quickly, kindly and efficiently. Cons QA features could be improved. There are currently no checks for consistency, for example. This would be beneficial for both linguists and PMs. Also, the Jobs view could be improved by showing all steps for each file in the same dashboard, instead of having to change step to see the status of each file. There's a very high number of settings that you can use to suit your needs. Link sharing makes the coordination of departments very easy and efficient. I could not do without anymore. Pros Memsource has the perfect balance: it's both complete and easy to use. Also, the support team is quick and effective when you need assistance on solving any issues. Cons Whenever there is a in issue (for example, a file cannot be exported), the message errors are not completely clear so it takes a bit of extra effort to locate and solve the issue. My experience has always been generally great. Pros Memsource is a simple software that helped me translate my files effortlessly. It allows sharing work during projects and easing translation, editing, and therefore communication with collaborators. It is indeed a great asset when it comes to group collaboration. The seamless integration of MTs provided by clients makes working on files so easy. What I really like is the ongoing progress and improvements by Memsource team, who always come up with useful additions. Cons Nothing I dislike really. We ended up losing days to deploy copy changes that now a days with the help of phrase we can do in seconds. Is also a very helpful tool to reflect the advertising campaigns in the copy of some website parts. Pros With phrase the process of changing, translate or update website copy becomes an easy and much simpler process than update website code. We just need to find the keys that we are looking for and in one click our changes are save. Cons As a point of improvement, while searching for the keys that we want to change or translate should appear in the search results all the keys related with what we've searched. It means, per example, when searching for "Houses", should appear in the results all the "Houses", "Houses", "House"; "Maison", "Casa"... Sometimes, in websites translated in many languages we can forget to translate all the similar words.
