We got excellent support while adding FTPS to our application, so we bought support annually past the initial integration phase. We didn't need to use the post-integration support, since the software Just Worked, but it was comforting to know the support would be there if needed. Pros Compatibility with previous free version. Email support - we could send out queries at the end of out (east coast US) workday and get something back the next morning. Free-to-distribute licensing - we could not have used anything more restrictive. Cons Process of buying it through the US Government (not your fault, really...) Cons Since it´s Australian based, who is in europe has to have the time difference in account regarding responses in support.
