### "Extremely good software for certified payroll reporting"

Our experience has been excellent. The company is easy to work with for questions as well. We have been with them since 2015.

Pros

Payroll4Construction is extremely easy to use for our certified payroll. The reports are easy to understand. The annualization required by New York State is tracked properly by Payroll4Construction.

Cons

We decided to print our checks in house to save the UPS shipping rates.

Good experience. Learning curve if changing from Quickbooks. Once you get use to posting each step, its easy.

Pros

Reliability and sources available to support the software. Nice having support available for any issues that I run into. May reports available as well.

Cons

I don't like that it doesn't automatically post transactions once entered. Sometimes a response from support takes a little longer that what I like. You have improved. Same day service is needed sometimes; not next day.

I would say that the experience to do the transition definitely takes the full month to get up to speed. I was hoping it would be quicker but it is what it is.

Pros

People are very knowledgeable and it is easy to get started. Lots of information to get you through the initial setup.

Cons

The part that is frustrating is when you need to log a call for help. You wait for a call back or for someone to log the call back to you. Too tedious of a process when you are looking for an immediate answer for when you are doing a task in the program.

It was ok. There were things that I did like and things i didn't like. I do not think it is worth what it costs.

Pros

I liked that I was able to call support and not have to wait on hold for hours. You were able to get in touch with support very easily.

Cons

That is was not user friendly. That once you post, you cant go back and change something. It had to be voided and redone.

Pros

There is always someone available to help me either when I have a question or when I need to know how to do/fix/handle something. Their knowledge and advice has been invaluable to me. I try not to bother them too much by learning and handling my own problems, but when I'm desperate for their help, it's always a pleasure dealing with them. Thank you for all you do. For the most part I don't have any issues with P4C. Other than some error issues on my end with being new to the program it works well for our Businesses needs.

Pros

I like the fact that it works well for our needs especially being in a Union and all of our Union Deductions and fringes. Your payroll company works better than our previous payroll company!

Cons

Sometimes getting calls back in a timely fashion can be a problem. I have had some issues that I needed a call back that day and it took more than 24 hrs to get a call back.

Products are Good and the help desk is easy to get ahold of when you need them, I wish there was a button to bump the call to urgent if it is a payroll related issue instead of calling in

Pros

Alot of multilevel combinations, ease of use after training, love the integrations it offers. They are quick to fix problems

Cons

I wish it offered hands on training or job site training; The cost can be very expensive if you use the products as they should to make the programs work properly.

Occasionally the wait time for a call back can be long depending on the issue. Limit number of knowledgeable representatives regarding prevailing wage.

I'm so glad we decided to purchase P4C in our package. The ease of use has been a simple transition and from the Sales Agent to the Training Staff and Customer Support Team, P4C delivers the quality experience you hope for.

Pros

P4C has made payroll so much more efficient. If I ever do run into a problem, contacting customer support is a breeze and they are friendly and help resolve the issue quickly.

Cons

I find some of the wording for L type payroll vs W type payroll a bit confusing in the pop-up prompts and questions. I'd like to see things have a bit more common language.

My overall experience has been great with P4C and I would recommend them to anyone looking to streamline their internal procedures with one system.

Pros

Payroll 4 Construction is very user-intuitive, has outstanding customer support with rapid turnaround times, and is a great value for the money. They are always improving system functionality and product offerings.

Cons

Sometimes the tax department gets back logged and response times can be longer than normal. I would also recommend longer session times before user gets logged out.

Payroll seems to go smoother and smoother week after week. The more I use it the easier it is every week. Love that it is directly integrated with our accounting.

Pros

Very easy to use and the worry of being sure everything is filed on time is a relief. Love the costing directly to the job.

Cons

Can't say that I have found any great cons about it. At first there were some learning errors but mostly in setups of new jobs and us still learning the system.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience working with P4C. Their service team are all super kind and helpful assisting with the implementation process and I am excited for the time-saving benefits that P4C will be providing our small business during this new year of 2026 allowing myself more availability to dedicate more of my work schedule to other duties that are in need of attention within my position.

Pros

Convenient and hassle-free payroll tax processing handled by P4C leaves you with an ease of mind knowing that everything is being handled at a competitive cost that is definitively giving your business the bang for its buck.

Cons

The onboarding / implementation process is pretty extensive and does require some dedicated time... HOWEVER, in order for everything to be up and running smoothly, the extra leg work at the beginning goes a long way for the future ensuring everything is operating as smoothly as possible.

Pros

It is very easy to use, their wasn't much or a learning curve to using it. The customer support is great!

Cons

Nothing really. It just takes it a few to load, but beyond that, it is all good. I don't really have any other con about it :)

Easy integration with Foundation. Customer service is very good and almost always can correct any issue while on the phone

Cons

Wish we had some better reporting functionality. The tax department needs to be function better than it currently does

My overall experience has been very good. Customer support has been very good up until my last ticket. I submitted a support ticket over a week ago and I have not been contacted as of today (2/16/26).

Pros

Customer support has been great up until my last request (see below for additional details related to my last request.

Cons

Payroll corrections and adjustments can be a bit cumbersome with Payroll4construction. Timecards take a bit of time to get used to as well.

### "Great resource for Payroll Processing"

Training and Implementation was excellent. I highly recommend using P4C to anyone using Foundation Accounting Software

Pros

Reliable weekly processing of payroll. Customized for Construction. Training documentation and Webinars are very helpful. The customer support team is very knowledgable and good trainers. Its great not to have to use a company outside of Foundation to process payroll. When we used another payroll processing company, it meant recreating payroll in Foundation every week and journal entries and balancing for rounding, entry errors such as pay rates or incorrect Union information being used to submit payroll outside of Foundation. Payroll4Construction has streamlined our payroll process and greatly reduced such entry errors.

Cons

The limitations of EAccess. Specifically the all or nothing e-pay stubs for direct deposit. When we used ADP it was easy for employees to setup online/mobile access to their payroll information including W2s. We sent out an email blast after switching to P4C and very few people set up that feature. The result was having to mail direct deposit pay stubs increasing the weekly payroll processing cost. Field time card entry integration that does not require daily review and more timely cost effective method of entry for field employees.

My overall experience is awesome and i am happy to say we look forward to staying a customer for a long time.

Pros

The software/program does what we need it to do. For me, it's the entire process from hiring a member, to processing their payroll and reporting. From day one, our union fringes and reporting worked just the way it should be. Perfect!! as i call it. Thank you

Cons

The only thing i like least is that when placing a call for assistance, you can never get someone to handle your problem. It has to be a call for someone to call us back. Most of the time we need someone ASAP because it's holding us from moving forward in our payroll processing. You need to sit and wait and sometimes you call again and again to see if someone picked up your ticket. This can be a future suggestion.

We switched because ADP did not have the capability to handle union fringes and unable to reconcile to the penny. Reporting was just not good. We gave it a try it just did not work for us unfortunately. We still have ADP but for our non-union payroll which is not complicated in any way.

Overall, besides the 2 issues mentioned above, it's been a really good payroll program.

Pros

It keeps track of every Job Site; it allows correction to be made to previous payrolls.

Cons

You still haven't finished my requested custom report. Also, you have not been able to get the Illinois CPR to complete all the fields correctly.

I like the system, however, sometimes I feel frustrated with its limits on the HR front, payroll reporting. I do appreciate the support team and their handing of all the payroll tax forms. I would like a faster response.

Pros

I like the support we have in processing the payroll specially dealing with all the tax return forms.

Cons

I would like better reports. I always struggle to get the information needed on reports. there should be a better way to get reports with all the data foundation has.

My experience has been great Overall. Anytime I have had any issues or even not understanding something with Foundation \[sensitive content hidden\] logs in with Support and addresses it right away. Most of the time it is user error.

Pros

Customer service is great! I work with \[sensitive content hidden\] the most and he is always so helpful and patient with me. He really is great!

Cons

I cant think of anything. I have not had any huge issues that could not be easily fixed with help. Like I said great Customer Service.

We’ve had a great experience processing weekly construction payroll with P4C!

Pros

P4C is responsive, they take of everything for you or with you and keep you in the loop! Great communication and they’re on top of it.

Cons

I’m not sure I can come up with a con, I’m very pleased.

Very positive experience! This is our second year with P4C.

Pros

It is easy to reach a live person when I have a question. When there have been payroll submission errors, I am notified right away and guided on how to correct the error.

Cons

It can be tricky finding the right tab for yearly deductions or pay rate updates.
