Overall the experience has been OK, though rarely used due to other superior methods of communication, and the lingering notion that Square has stretched itself too thin.

Pros

I liked its integration into the Square family and its reputation as a Square brand, as well as it's chat and messaging features.

Cons

I didn't like its relative lack of quality customer service, it's necessity as an app, and its digression from primarily a payment platform.

Pros

What I liked most about square messages was Customer support and chat was able to help customers better.

Cons

What I didn’t like about messages and email is sometimes they wouldn’t even pop up and I wouldn’t see them in time.
