We didn't have any major issues, payment was easy, UI was friendly and simple to navigate! Pros We were in a bind. Our current PM software was up for renewal, we had a bunch of people in the company on a different PM software, and we wanted to move everyone to a single platform and only had a few days to do it. Altosio was easy to use, simple to pay for (without breaking the bank), and the only solution that we could find that would allow us to migrate our data as fast as possible to meet our deadline! The migration process was smooth and quick! It was easy to schedule a demo with their team, and our support rep was responsive and helpful throughout! Cons Altosio didn't bring over our custom fields from one Trello to Asana, but we were able to re-create them without issue. This would be a great improvement in the software. June 5, 2025 5.0 We discovered Altosio when evaluating switching our agency to Monday.com. Without having Altosio lined up, I'm not sure we could have pulled off the migration in the required timeframe. I found Altosio quite straight forward and simple to understand; I am a somewhat more technical user (e.g. I'm using to using and evaluating lots of different martech and find new tools straight forward to pick up) which helps, and we had our boards migrating in no time, including all information present on trello cards (attached members, comments, checklists, files, and so on!). Pros Altosio saved us approximately 250 hours of work, migrating all of our Trello boards over to Monday.com. I found it quite straight forward to use, and anytime I encountered an issue, they were able to investigate and resolve it within a couple of hours. Cons We did encounter a few errors, but these were resolved in a very acceptable time frame so I never felt frustrated once I realised how responsive and quick the team were. The customer support was prompt and helpful. Given the urgency of the migration, the service is a good value for the money. Pros I needed to migrate my Asana personal projects to Asana organization projects. Asana's built-in export/import feature is extremely limited, and doesn't include task comments or attachments. Altosio Migration Tool includes everything. Altosio's interface is easy to use and navigate. Setting up a source/target connectors with Asana tokens was a breeze. The migration status page keeps you informed on each project's migration progress. The system is speedy, with small to medium size projects taking very little time to complete. Cons It wasn't initially clear to me that each project needs a license. Adding some helper text would solve this. The migrated data isn't perfect. The task comments do not have the original timestamp. However, the timestamps are included at the top of each comment. Images are added as attachments and do not appear inline. They have to be clicked on to be viewed externally. The migration also includes tags like "" in the final data, which adds clutter. Cons It might already say this explicitly, but if it doesn't, it should give warning that once you begin a migration with a license: 1. every subsequent migration of that board only gets the difference and 2. if you remove the board from Altosio and refresh from your source, the license has no way of being re-applied to that board. CTO Hospitality Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Very effective migration tool" March 7, 2025 5.0 Does a very good job of migrating from Monday to Asana which wouldn't be possible to the same extent if using manual export/import functionality. Pros Fairly easy to use - definitely need to read the documentation though. We migrated from Monday to Asana which was fast and the end result was very close to 1:1. We had to update some field colours and there are some caveats noted in the documentation but overall very happy with the outcome. The trial licence was helpful to see how 10 tasks would look in Asana before we committed to buying. Cons The documentation mentioned an audit task as a pre-migration assessment to identify potential issues but I couldn't find a way to do this. We had no issues anyway. Need to note that Monday sub-items are treated as a separate board from a licence point of view. This wasn't clear until we loaded the boards in the tool. Review Source DS Dessislav S. After een week of concluding the migration users noticed the comments were not migrated. However, migrating them afterwards was not supported by the tooling we used. Altosio made it possible trough custom software, which helped us a lot! Cons The product was custom so sometimes it didn't work as expected.
