I started using SiteRecon when I had a team of estimators using GoiLawn. The initial reaction was extremely positive due to the increase in volume we were able to do right off the back. Every estimator was now able to process up to 10 maps at once, before starting the 11th in GoiLawn. By the time we finished the GoiLawn map, all 10 were completed as well. The problem came when we went to verify the SiteRecon maps. On schools or parks, the platform worked great. Once we got to complex HOAs or office buildings, we saw less accuracy. We tried it with some rather large apartments and winded up spending just as much time making adjustments as it would have taken measuring manually. I think much of these features that were lacking at the time, (line trimming, separated tree counts, turf split my mower, etc.), have been rectified now but the idea that requesting changes would be so difficult left a bad taste.

Pros

The tie savings when switching from manual measurements over to automated ones is unreal. You can essentially 10x your employees workload after the basics of training.

Cons

The customization just didn't exist. We went over the changes we needed with Utkarsh a few times to go over some pretty basic changes and everything was on the roadmap but just never happened. When we eventually switched services to a more robust system, one of the founders reached out to tell me off about how I never gave him enough time to fix everything. The experience was just off-putting.
