Both times the service was superb. I thank \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] for her great help and patience with me today to correct my problem which I created myself. Pros The ease in following the instructions and the manner in which one moves through the programs to accomplish the end result Cons I have no dislikes with this program. I think that the use of the "Enter" key more often than having to use the "Arrow" keys would be a time saver and make it easier to move through the entry system. Review Source SH Sarah H. Administrator Used the software for: ### "Easy Format - Quality Training" December 2, 2015 5.0 One of the first tasks given to me as the new Administrator was to look into getting a church management software. Previous methods used were spreadsheets, aging difficult databases and a contribution software that wasn't even compatible with Windows 7! After much research and cost comparison I quickly discovered that Servant Keeper was the perfect software for this church. We were lucky to work with a good salesman (Thanks Jon!) who was willing to create a package that fit our needs specifically. As an office that works with several volunteers with differing computer comprehension it was essential to have a good method for training. The online courses were specific and offered enough information for everyone to understand the basics of the program. Any other question could be answered within a phone call. Honestly it was a Capterra review that turned me onto this software and it definitely paid off to take a look. The purchase of this software brought organization and security to this church office, and it did so at a very very reasonable price. Review Source RC Robert C. We used the trial version and were impressed. It is easy to use and as effective as many other programs on the market. Cons The only negative is that it is not as broad and diverse as other programs but for smaller churches, well worth the investment. April 28, 2016 5.0 Pros Our previous system was cumbersome, so converting to SK7 has been wonderful. The system is easy to navigate and it has a lot of flexibility with customized fields that allow us to adapt it to our needs. There's a solid selection of standard reports for basic reporting, and the ability to create your own reports with relative ease. We just started using the youth ministry features and staff are really appreciating its capability. We use QuickBooks for our accounting software and SK7 integrates nicely for our purposes for tracking revenue. Cons As I have expressed to the company, I am disappointed that support after the first year is based on the number of licenses you have, and as such, is very expensive for us. As a result, unless there's something drastic, we don't call. As the system administrator, I would be the only one calling for support, and I have recommended that they structure a tiered fee based on actual use. I know we'd get more out of the system if we could ask questions as they occur. Review Source KH Kris H. Directory creation. Updates are easy. Cons Creating your own options as to how you will use it. Not knowing what it can do limits what I will try. Cost to share it. Lots of training provided. Pros The on premise client pointing to a hosted database. Web based portal for members to interact and update data. I have been able to produce directories, attendance reports and other reports with ease. I tell everyone that Servant Keeper makes me look good and super efficient! Pros This software is extremely user friendly. I've used it for many, many years and have trained multiple coworkers and volunteers to use it when they substitute for me. Our ministers were able to learn it quickly and utilize it often. I especially love the adaptibility of the various fields and have customized them for our use frequently. The tech support is outstanding as well. Everything I have asked for in new versions has appeared in the updates. They are very responsive to ministry needs! Pros Servant Keeper is much more user friendly than our previous system. Installation and transferring data was without a hitch and well worth the investment of time. We have eliminated yearly contract fees and now have a system that actually meets our needs and is easy to use. We've experienced great tech support to get over our initial learning curve. Cons Would like to have training videos available for those who don't have a workshop in their area or so they don't have to wait for training. The sooner all the SK users at a location begin to increase their effectivenes and productivity the sooner they will appreciate the value of SK and truly use the product as designed. A person must be knowledgeable of how to do the editing or the church has to find some one. Pros I like that Servent Keeper offers different report templates to choose from. SK makes it easy to use the program. As in entering information of a person when one creates a profile. Attendance can be changed if needed and saved for any given day and save that change. Cons Ability to have a larger variety of Attendance reports to choose from is lacking. There is no support on on editing a report to suit the individual church needs. Review Source HP Hazel P. Cons The Head of Household and Individual screens should copy all input fields to include phone number and email address. It requires double entering for these fields. Pros I find it easy to run reports at month end and year end. Also, it's easy to correct if I found I made an error.
