Used the software for: ### "Professional & Functional" March 16, 2017 5.0 I am a new user of Servant Keeper. It is an incredibly powerful organizational tool that is easy to learn and use. I love the different apps that are available to link back to the database that provide easy to use tools for administrators and congregants alike. My favorite tool is SK Notify. It gives me and other leaders a clean and professional way to send bulk emails and texts to specific groups that are generated from Servant Keeper 8. If you're looking for an easy to use program to help with all your church organizational and administrative needs, don't look for individual programs that may or may not work well with each other - go with Servant Keeper. Secretary Used the software for: ### "Servant Keeper" April 11, 2014 5.0 Servant Keeper is a dream come true for church staff. Whether you are an administrative assistant or bookkeeper, this program allows you to easily manage your information. It is the most user-friendly church software program I have found. I've been using it for about 6 years. The longer I use it, and the more I utilize the features, the more I appreciate the capacity of this software. This software lets you easily manage your membership data, as well as attendance records, visitors etc. The contribution manager painlessly exports to QB simplifying things for your bookkeeper. I truly believe this is a "must have" for every church. My husband/pastor is always very pleased with how quickly I am able to produce any data he requires. Seriously, Pastors, if you want to really appreciate your Administrative Assistant this April, bless him/her with this software. You and your congregation will be the ones to really benefit. Administrator Used the software for: ### "From Canada" January 9, 2015 5.0 I researched for two years looking for a overall program for contributions, child safety, and membership management. While there are many good programs out there, I had trouble finding one program to do it all and be used in Canada. I finally choose Servant Keeper and have been very glad with my choice. Servant Keeper membership, contribution and child check in are all integrated so information only needs to be add once. We purchased 3 seats and we are all able to use the program at the same time. Now any one of us can easily update or add new information about a family or member. As a church in Canada, the contribution statements for Income Tax purposes are easy to modify so they are compatible with Canadian requirements. I have mine all done by the 8th of January this year! Also, as a church in Canada, Protect My Ministry is a wonderful tool for requesting and receiving criminal record checks on our volunteers. Review Source CS Church S. I had many different spreadsheets, now just one database. Can lookup information quickly and run a myriad of reports. Love the mailing label capability. They thought of everything. Cons-We are using V.6 and while the SK Help Desk is excellent, no one has been able to solve my email problem. We cannot email tax statements from SK, which was one of the main reasons we bought it. Regarding your email issue, there are a few internet service providers (ISP) that do not allow any third party programs to send emails using email accounts from that ISP. If your ISP is one of these, then you can create a free email account using gmail or something similar and use it as your "sending" email in Servant Keeper when you send statements. November 20, 2015 5.0 I had tried to import an Excel document numerous times but kept getting error codes (multiple different error codes!). I called customer support and spoke with Kelly. I truly could not have asked for any better customer service. She logged into our system and helped me fix all of my error messages. She knew exactly what needed to be corrected so that the import would be accepted by Servant Keeper. We just installed the membership software on Tuesday and tried and tried to get the contribution part installed but failed due to the error messages. I don't like to call most customer support centers because so many don't seem to truly want to help. From the beginning, Kelly did everything she could to fix our problem and after fixing all of the issues I was having, we finally have our new SK contribution software installed. If I speak to a person or go through the chat, I always get the help I need. Pros The amount of fields that the system allows you to collect data in is great. Once the set-up was complete, it was easy to work with. Cons I little more customization would be nice. I work for a non-profit and would like to make changes that fit our flow. Pros I started out only using the contribution end of the program, then when our secretary left, I have had to learn the membership portion. I caught on quickly the basics and have always received excellent help with the support number we call. I loved the newsletter you began sending. We don't have time to attend a training at this point and we enjoy the tips. We really like the 15 min. youtube video and wish you would do more of those. Cons The program is so versatile that it is often confusing. Sometimes there are certain ways that I want to do things, but they are not possible. March 3, 2016 5.0 Thanks to Bernadette Reynolds that has been in contact with me for months as my church went through a split and changes to Board Memebers which left us without an accountant, she stayed with me periodically through emails. It took months to finally purchase SK 7. I've been using SK5 from decades ago and had to learn it on my own without the guide books or the initial training from prior bookkeeper, God just has done miracles! I not only was able to purchase today and didn't have a hard time downloading the program, but the help number is there and I did order the guidebooks to use as a reference. Bernadette made sure my levels of anxiety to do all this being non-user friendly, it was so easy to do! References, a help sheet, AND the direct line to the HelpDesk, this company is complete. The layout is easy to understand and train. Renaming extra fields to use is simple and straight forward. The Groups Keeper makes tracking and managing Visitors easy. The SK Writer and Email Writer were easy to setup the Visitor Letter to send out without our Church Secretary retyping anything! Contribution entry is easy and the memorized transactions is saving alot of time for our Count Teams. I found the staff at SK to be extremely helpful. The Help Desk is knowledgeable and thorough. Cons While the videos available are great, I would like to see more depth!! It would be helpful to have an indepth training video on Report Writer. Pros I don't have many programs to compare this to but the program we were using prior to this and the one I learned on made me crazy. SK has made my job much easier and faster. Tech Support is excellent. Program updates are always available and if something is not working right the department that programs always listens and makes quick fixes. This is so beneficial to have a company that keeps their product current and listens to their customer users. Thank you. I have freedom to work anyplace I choose. There is an option to use my android but have not yet tried it. But I will. Pros I love everything about SKPR. It's that easies system I have ever used.
