Needs to be streamlined a little better. Pros CCI edits, LCD lookup. the option to customize the page to your liking Cons not enough description of the ICD 10 codes. I would like the definitions to look like the ICD 10 book as it's easy to follow. LCDs are not current. I love the additional information Codify provides on codes, it's like having all of your reference books in one easy to use program! I have been a certified coder for 19 years and have worked with several types of software over the years so I am sure eventually I will learn how to maximize my use of it. Pros I like the E&M calculator it makes the coding super easy and 99% error proof. Cons There needs to be training set up for people who purchase the product. I think people would get more use out of there purchase if they new how to use all the capabilities. I bought my subscription when COVID started so there was very limited assistance with it. Pros The many tools and resources it has to the lay person to understand. Cons When using the EM Calculator you are not able to manually enter the DOS and have to be left clicking to get to a prior years DOS. This makes it very cumbersome. Reason for choosing Codify Since the moment I was introduce to this tool many years ago I do not use any other, because it contains all the resources and links to all my coding needs. The detailed pictures and descriptions. Pros Ease of use. Loved home page with the different crosswalks and NCCI Edits for Medicare & Medicaid. Cons Really nothing. The codes with more then 2 placeholders were sometimes hard to find.
