### "Reliable Social Listening Tool for Actionable Insights"

April 28, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Brandwatch has been positive. It’s a strong platform for social listening, brand monitoring, and understanding online sentiment. Once I became familiar with the setup and filters, it made tracking conversations and creating reports much easier. It’s especially useful for getting actionable insights quickly and supporting data-driven decisions. While there is a learning curve in the beginning, it becomes a very valuable tool once you start using it regularly.

Pros

What I liked most about Brandwatch was how much time it saved me when tracking conversations online. It pulls data from different platforms into one place, so I didn’t have to jump between multiple tools. I also found the dashboards really useful for spotting trends, checking sentiment, and creating reports quickly. Once you get used to it, it becomes a reliable tool for understanding what people are saying about your brand and competitors.

Cons

What I liked least was that it can feel overwhelming at first, especially if you’re new to social listening tools. There’s a learning curve when it comes to setting up queries and getting the most accurate results. Some reports also need manual adjustments

Switched from

[Konnect Insights](https://www.capterra.com/p/178918/Konnect-Insights/)

I switched to Brandwatch because I needed a more advanced social listening platform with better data coverage, stronger sentiment analysis, and more customizable reporting. The previous tool worked for basic monitoring, but it lacked the depth of insights and flexibility needed for detailed brand and competitor analysis

### "Where data turns into real decisions"

May 4, 2026

5.0

My experience has been really positive. It’s a tool we use daily across different clients, and it helps turn data into insights quickly. Beyond listening, I’ve been using it a lot for customer care and social media management, which has made a big difference in day-to-day operations. The AI-powered image analysis is also a great addition, and the platform is constantly evolving, with AI supporting everything from reading reports to helping with image and photo editing.

Pros

It’s a pretty solid tool, especially when it comes to analysis and the volume of data it can handle. The dashboards are really helpful, and support is usually responsive. It also has a strong cost-benefit for us, and the fact that it’s aligned with data protection standards like LGPD brings a lot of security, it’s even helped us move forward and close deals. There are still some usability hiccups and cases where manual adjustments are needed. Pros: strong data volume, fast insights powered by AI, good cost-benefit, data security/compliance, and flexibility to work across different clients.

Cons

Some usability friction in more complex analyses, reliance on manual tweaks at times, and limited coverage in certain data sources.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Brandwatch

We chose Brandwatch for its stronger data depth, more advanced analytics, and the flexibility to scale across multiple clients. It gives us more robust insights and adapts better to different use cases compared to alternatives like Stilingue and Sprinklr.

### "Thank you!!"

May 15, 2026

3.0

I learnt SO much while working with the Brandwatch team and I'm really grateful for the experience we had. This was the first ever social media management platform that I used and it was the perfect introduction. I think the team at Brandwatch make the experience what it was (positive and rewarding) and the platform has great foundations and lots of room to grow!

Pros

I liked the publishing and scheduling components, and the ability to split dark posts, accounts and publishing status. Labelling made our content easy to distinguish. The concept of social listening was great, and I'm excited to see how the platform builds this out. Our customer success agent \[sensitive content hidden\] was amazing and I felt super understood and supported by her.

Cons

The reporting component. When data pulled through Brandwatch was compared to data pulled from in platform, the figures did not match. It made it hard to rely on the platform. The process of connecting channels and having to refresh and stabilise the connection was not user friendly. I found that more of our complex issues were not able to be efficiently solved by the online customer service team, and some issues dragged out for weeks.

### "Detailed, Quick, and Reliable Platform!"

April 28, 2026

4.0

Great, I've used for almost 3 years now. It's never gone down, very little issues and good support team who are very quick to look into any concerns of questions we have. The largest issue we have with brandwatch is the lack of TikTok integration. However, with the ability to upload custom sources, even this core issue is largely covered, meaning we have very little major concerns with the platform.

Pros

The UI! It's such a simple platform to use, allowing you to breakdown data so much with a few clicks. There is also so much customisation you can do to any query through the dashboards, tags, custom data, or any of the other features.

Cons

Its platform coverage - wider access to Instagram out side of just public posts, or individual pages would go a long way as the social conversation shifts away from X with recent changes to the platform. Also, any inclusion of TikTok would make this platform leaps and bounds better than any competition.

Alternatives considered

familiarity, and the ability to have large queries with no mention limits.

Pulsar was slow and there was so many issues with fixing various problems. However, they did have access to TikTok which was a massive bonus.

### "The most comprehensive data with a bewildering sentiment problem"

April 29, 2026

4.0

Relieved to have expansive data that won't let someone find posts using a social listening tool that we can't also surface. Annoyance with the labour involved in grooming the sentiment. Positive overall, but tough for a team not trained in both analyzing sentiment themselves and solid tool use to revise sentiment assessment.

Pros

The variety of graphs I can build, it's flexibility and ability to customize, its comprehensive data.

Cons

Sentiment analysis remains an issue - they tell me they're working on it but I haven't seen anything yet that suggests they've found a solution - which is actually bizarre, because it seems like integrating an LLM should be an easy way to solve it, and Iris is already part of the tool.

Switched from

[Infegy Starscape](https://www.capterra.com/p/124219/Infegy-Atlas/)

They promised a level of customer service they couldn't deliver, and we had a tough time choosing between their "estimated" conversation levels and their actual recorded data - neither was ideal.

### "Everything You Need, All in One Place"

May 8, 2026

4.0

Fantastic, I am able to easily create reports, manage all social media platforms and simply copy social content onto other platforms.

Pros

Brandwatch brings analytics and reporting together in one place, making it genuinely easy to use. Having everything in a single platform saves time and removes the hassle of jumping between tools — it just works.

Cons

If I had to name one downside, it would be the cost. Brandwatch sits at the premium end of the market, and for smaller teams or organisations with tighter budgets, that price point can be a real barrier. That said, I want to be clear — I don't think the cost is unjustified. The platform delivers.

Switched from

[Hootsuite](https://www.capterra.com/p/121701/HootSuite/)

Hootsuite was too limited for what I wanted, I found I was still having to manually monitor all my social media content across multiple platforms that was wasting time and proving inefficient.

### "Excellent Social Media Reporting Tool"

April 28, 2026

4.0

Brandwatch has been a valuable social media tool for managing stakeholder expectations, tracking performance, and understanding what content works best across channels.

Pros

Brandwatch is an awesome social media management tool, especially when it comes to reporting and posting. Reporting is fantastic as you can see all your social media performance in one place with clear dashboards, making it easy to track engagement, reach, and overall results without pulling data manually. The reports are also customisable, so you can quickly create insights that are useful for your team or stakeholders.

Cons

Some downsides to Brandwatch is the social media channels can occasionally disconnect, which can interrupt posting or data collection. It’s also difficult to organise reports into folders (event or stakeholder), making things harder to manage at scale.

Switched from

### "Thanks for all the hardwork Brandwatch!"

May 13, 2026

3.0

The team were super lovely, it was sad to say goodbye after working with them for so long. Overall experience was good, however missed a few opportunities for us!

Pros

Brandwatch excels in the publishing and benchmarking modules, which are both streamlined and user-friendly. The high level of support from our account manager and the customer service team ensures that any inquiries are resolved efficiently or have an answer.

Cons

We found that Brandwatch's product roadmap often lagged behind its competitors. Additionally, we experienced frequent data inaccuracies from restrictive API limitations. From a usability standpoint, the listening module was unintuitive and lacked the detail we required.

### "Falcon Review"

March 18, 2020

4.0

Getting other teams to schedule has cut down my tasks in some ways, making people more responsible for their own projects and providing training for them so they've learned a new skill. Customer service is always great, (Helgi is awesome) (and love that you can send GIFS), and they're usually quick to respond and resolve issues.

Pros

The calendar overview Scheduling quite easily Being able to leave notes Having a team system

Cons

The approval system and the access that different user roles have. Preview mode not always being accurate. Not being able to do things like tagging on pics for Twitter or needing an app to schedule certain posts on Instagram. Falcon not being able to collate all data from all channels for stats (but i know that's due to the channel permissions and not Falcon) Falcon sometimes refreshing and not saving posts, taking ages to load images. Channels being disconnected (again not entirely Falcons fault)

### "Would Highly Recommend"

March 13, 2020

4.0

My overall experience with Falcon. io has been very positive. I just wish I had more time to use it to its full potential!

Pros

It allows one person to manage over 10 different social channels with varying levels of involvement. The reporting function is very user-friendly. Customer service is easy to access through the help feature if you ever run into issues.

Cons

Cost. Considering all the free open-source software available, I think the cost would limit the types of businesses that could afford this tool.

Switched from

### "You can't go wrong with Falcon"

January 11, 2022

4.0

Pros

The calendar and ease of scheduling is the best part of falcon, but the monitoring system is great too!

Cons

The reporting system isn't the best. There are a lot of glitches and it's hard to manipulate the numbers the way you want, but you can get the basics.

### "Solid platform, slow on AI adoption"

May 4, 2026

4.0

Pros

Strong data coverage across social, news, and forums. Flexible query builder, customisable dashboards, and excellent historical data. Reporting and export features work well for sharing insights across teams.

Cons

AI capabilities feel underdeveloped compared to where the market is heading - Brandwatch still relies heavily on manual setup and analysis. Sentiment analysis can also be inconsistent, especially for non-English content.

### "Must-Have for a Busy Agency"

August 10, 2021

5.0

Overall I love it for scheduling, analytics, and engagement management. I have noticed a few bugs with it not working certain days or posts not able to go through. But for the most part, with how much I use it, I've had minimal issues, and I would recommend this for any agency or social media marketer that is juggling a lot of clients.

Pros

This platform cuts out hours of time scheduling & customizing posts for multiple social media platforms. It's also a great tool for managing comments/messages for multiple clients in one easy, organized location.

Cons

FB Business Suite now allows you to schedule IG & FB stories, while Falcon still doesn't have that feature. Also we paid for the Advertising feature which allows you to set up FB ads directly through the platform, however I have found that I still end up using FB Ads Manager to maintain my advertising. I was excited about the idea of being able to do everything in one spot initially but the advertising feature is not easy to use, although I'm sure a lot of that has to do with what the FB API allows for third-party apps, and you can't easily set up different types of ads & optimization, so you end up having to move to FB Ads Manager anyway to do anything that isn't a basic "boost."

Reason for choosing Brandwatch

It had more capabilities, including the paid advertising feature.

### "Overall, the best choice for your social network monitoring"

April 1, 2019

4.0

If you have to keep numerous channels in check, then Falcon is exactly what you need. The solution allows you to keep everything in order. It gives your team a comprehensive insight into your clients’ activities. We think it is one of the must-have programs.

Pros

With the help of Falcon Social, it has never been a problem to control all the company’s social media channels. We believe that the ability to create applications in the program is one of the best features of the Falcon platform. Besides, what we like about the program is its measure function. With its help, we do not face any serious problems and difficulties when creating and analyzing our reports. It is an all-in-one-place solution. Falcon gives us a great number of abilities to work on the content of our company, as well as provide our best practices through various media channels. Besides, the program allows making engagement with clients easier and more natural. All the things considered, it was definitely a worthy investment for our company.

Cons

Even though we did not have an urgent necessity to contact the Falcon support team, we believe it is a drawback not to have a phone hotline. Well, in some cases, it is a must for a customer to solve the problem occurring within the Falcon platform in the shortest time possible. In addition, it would be better for the service to have a more advanced ability for signing up for newsletters. We wish there was a feature of getting the necessary data and information into our company’s database.

### "Great for Small - Medium Sized Business and Focused Monitoring"

February 3, 2017

5.0

1) Expected Volume: Brandwatch is more affordable for clients who need comprehensive coverage, but not necessarily unlimited mentions. Brandwatch is the best value for core brand health monitoring, while still maintaining a competitive edge at higher volumes (1 million+ monthly mentions). Combined with historical data from 2010 onwards, access to the Twitter “firehose,” Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and an ever-expanding database of all digital publications, you will not want for coverage. 2) The complexity of Boolean Search Query / Keywords: Strong reach and limiting false positives.

Pros

Unlimited User Accounts, API Integrations, Excellent Customer Service

Cons

The deep learning curve for the user interface, queries must be carefully written to exclude non-essential and low-quality mentions. No mobile app.

### "User-friendly and great statistics - but needs more features"

November 24, 2020

3.0

It is great when it comes to distribute assignments. And it is also great that you can get a very good view of all your different accounts. But it needs more features and problem solving.

Pros

It's very user-friendly and easy to use. The statistic utilities are great. Very good that you can connect your organization's social media accounts without involving your personal account.

Cons

It needs more features. One would like to control all aspects of, for example, your Facebook-page via Falcon. Including the cover. It also needs to include Instagram DMs. There is a big delay from when the first comment is visible within Falcon from when it's done. We've also experienced big delays when it comes to controlling comments in big advertising campaigns. We where also promised that we could, via Falcon, connect all our organizations accounts, even the local branches own accounts. But that didn't work.

### "Recommended!"

November 24, 2020

5.0

I really like the product a lot. It is the best of the three or four different softwares that I have used over the years. Fairly easy to use, good customer support, etc.

Pros

It is an all-in-one tool for social media management, social ad buying, social listening, and reporting. I really like some the publish module and the ease of scheduling content as well as being able to collaborate on content. I like the content pool feature as well. And, having Instagram story scheduling is really nice because not everyone offers that. It's very easy to set up and manage teams and accounts. The social listening and alerts are really helpful and you're able to set things up and automate where you need to. Reporting is super helpful to have in one place and export in an easy to digest way.

Cons

There's some features that are limiting in the publish module but it isn't anything major.
