### "Thank you!!"

May 15, 2026

3.0

I learnt SO much while working with the team and I'm really grateful for the experience we had. This was the first ever social media management platform that I used and it was the perfect introduction. I think the team at Brandwatch make the experience what it was (positive and rewarding) and the platform has great foundations and lots of room to grow!

Pros

I liked the publishing and scheduling components, and the ability to split dark posts, accounts and publishing status. Labelling made our content easy to distinguish. The concept of social listening was great, and I'm excited to see how the platform builds this out. Our customer success agent \[sensitive content hidden\] was amazing and I felt super understood and supported by her.

Cons

The reporting component. When data pulled through was compared to data pulled from in platform, the figures did not match. It made it hard to rely on the platform. The process of connecting channels and having to refresh and stabilise the connection was not user friendly. I found that more of our complex issues were not able to be efficiently solved by the online customer service team, and some issues dragged out for weeks.

### "Brandwatch Review"

April 28, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with has been positive, but with some clear trade-offs. It is an incredibly powerful platform for social listening and analytics, offering detailed insights that can genuinely inform strategy and decision-making. Once you become familiar with its functionality, it becomes a valuable asset for tracking performance, understanding audience sentiment, and identifying opportunities for content or engagement. However, it does require a level of commitment to learn and optimise its features properly. It is not the most intuitive tool at first, and getting the most out of it depends heavily on how well queries and dashboards are set up. Despite this, it is a strong platform for anyone serious about data-driven marketing.

Pros

What I liked most about was the depth and flexibility of its social listening capabilities. It provides a really comprehensive view of conversations across multiple platforms, which makes it easy to track brand sentiment, emerging trends, and audience behaviour in real time. The ability to build custom queries and dashboards is a major strength, allowing you to tailor insights specifically to your campaigns or reporting needs. I also found the visualisation tools useful for presenting data in a clear and engaging way, especially when sharing insights with stakeholders who may not be as data-savvy. Overall, it feels like a powerful, all-in-one tool for understanding digital conversations at scale.

Cons

One of the main drawbacks of is that it can feel quite complex and overwhelming, especially for new users. The learning curve is fairly steep, particularly when it comes to building accurate queries and filtering out irrelevant data. Without proper onboarding or experience, it is easy to miss key insights or misinterpret the data. Additionally, the platform can sometimes surface a lot of noise, requiring manual refinement to ensure the results are actually useful. Performance can also be inconsistent at times, with slower load speeds when working with large datasets. While it is a powerful tool, it often requires significant time investment to use it effectively.

### "Reflections for using Brandwatch"

May 4, 2026

4.0

is a sophisticated and capable tool that meaningfully supported our research. The learning curve was steep but rewarding, and features like Categories and dashboard templates gave us infrastructure that would have taken much longer to build from scratch. At the same time, the limitations around demographic coverage, map customization, and mention-level usability are genuine gaps that affect research quality. With targeted improvements in these areas, Brandwatch could be an even stronger platform for projects that sit at the intersection of social listening and policy-relevant research.

Pros

The dashboard templates were a genuine highlight. offers a wide range of pre-built components that made it relatively fast to set up a functional dashboard and start visualizing data. The sheer variety of chart types and layouts available meant that for most of our research questions, there was a component that could do the job. The Categories feature was particularly valuable — it allowed us to structure what was otherwise a tangled web of conversation topics into clean, analyzable segments. For a project dealing with five distinct conversation topic areas across three species, this feature alone saved significant time and brought a level of clarity to the data that would have been very difficult to achieve manually. Brandwatch's AI summarization tool, Iris, was also useful when working through large volumes of mentions. Being able to quickly surface key themes from bulk data helped us move faster during the analysis phase and gave us a starting point for deeper qualitative investigation.

Cons

The dashboard templates, while excellent in concept, were sometimes restrictive in practice. A clear example was our attempt to build a US state-level heat map. The city and state data was already present in our dataset, but the map component only offered a world map view with no option to zoom or lock to a specific country. We had to build this visualization externally, which added unnecessary work. Allowing users to set a default geographic scope for map components, or providing region-specific map options, would resolve this quickly. Iris, while useful, has a tendency toward repetition. Across large datasets it frequently cited the same mention to support multiple different insights, which made it feel less like a rigorous analytical tool and more like a pattern-matcher looking for something to say. The insights would benefit from more deduplication logic and a clearer signal about how many unique mentions are actually informing each summary. On the UI side, one issue that consistently caused friction was interacting with smaller or non-peak data points on line charts. The hover tooltip tends to obstruct the very point you are trying to click on, making it difficult to drill into quieter periods of a time series — which are often just as analytically interesting as the spikes. A simple fix such as a click-to-pin tooltip or a scrollable mentions panel triggered by any point on the chart would make a meaningful difference.

### "Brandwatch Review"

May 4, 2026

4.0

Overall experience was relatively good, our customer support was amazing and regularly checked in when possible.

Pros

I enjoyed the benchmark function of , it was easy to read and understand when doing a competitor analysis. The publish function was also very straight forward and easy to use.

Cons

Social media reporting in measure was a bit of a struggle with limitations on what you could report on vs. only in-platform.

### "Solid platform, slow on AI adoption"

May 4, 2026

4.0

Pros

Strong data coverage across social, news, and forums. Flexible query builder, customisable dashboards, and excellent historical data. Reporting and export features work well for sharing insights across teams.

Cons

AI capabilities feel underdeveloped compared to where the market is heading - still relies heavily on manual setup and analysis. Sentiment analysis can also be inconsistent, especially for non-English content.

### "Complete Platform with Strong Data Coverage"

May 8, 2026

5.0

The platform is very comprehensive compared to others on the market, the customized reports make a big difference, and I really like the data coverage.

Pros

What I liked most about was the Security, Analytics and Reporting capabilities, along with the strong data coverage and customizable reports.

Cons

What I liked the least about was the Bugs and Issues. At the beginning of the year, I had some problems with bugs when uploading data to the platform, and when there were updates to the Dashboard layout, I felt like things became a bit unstable at first.

### "Brandwatch: Useful Tool, Predatory Business Practices"

March 9, 2025

1.0

I was a strong advocate for & regularly recommended it to peers & leadership groups. That ends today. This is a textbook case of short-term financial gain at the cost of long-term trust. Great tool, terrible ethics. There are better analytics platforms out there that don’t resort to legal landmines & deceptive billing tactics to keep customers on board. Would I recommend Brandwatch now? Absolutely not. Would I ever trust them again? Not a chance. Sies.

Pros

used to be a solid analytics & social listening tool. The dashboard was well-structured, reporting was comprehensive, & sentiment analysis was useful. It offered valuable insights into brand perception, competitor monitoring, & market trends. At its core, Brandwatch is a powerful tool, but no level of analytics justifies the kind of predatory business practices I’ve now experienced.

Cons

Deceptive renewal tactics & a customer-unfriendly approach. quietly slipped an auto-renewal clause into what was a manual renewal agreement, locking us into another contract cycle without explicit consent. Previously, contract renewals were handled with an account manager reaching out—but now? No heads-up, no automated reminder, just a silent renewal & a big invoice. When challenged, they deflected with "standard practice" excuses, despite past renewals being explicitly manual. If a company relies on fine print trickery rather than product value to retain customers, it speaks volumes.

### "Strong customization, complex UX"

April 28, 2026

4.0

Pros

has a lot of customization options, making the tool fairly flexible across a variety of use cases. Our customer service rep has always been responsive and willing to help tackle issues.

Cons

Customization comes at the cost of complexity. This is not a tool I feel could be effectively leveraged by a non-technical persona.

It works well for certain things but I find I often have to supplement some things/metrics with different platforms.

Pros

I love the AI-generated themes + narratives for the mentions. It really helps organize the mentions for the period into distinct categories.

Cons

Less flexibility around the reporting period parameters. Sometimes I want to look at a specific timeframe, and it won't let me.

### "Mixed views"

April 28, 2026

3.0

Mixed. It's great for forums but bad for video. And with the way social content is going, that's a problem.

Pros

It has very good coverage of text-based channels and I like that it has contracts in place with them

Cons

The UX is still very clunky and non-intuitive. I feel like they've overcomplicated the process (queries, dashboards, add widgets etc) but the 'quick' version lacks depth to the extent that it is never worth the time saved, to choose this option. The coverage of video content is poor.

### "Frustrating Experience with Brandwatch: Great Features Overshadowed by Persistent Issues"

November 11, 2024

1.0

The tool turned out to be largely unusable for our needs. We were locked into a 12-month contract, and despite numerous issues with the platform, we were unable to get proper support or fixes. We didn’t receive the features we were promised, and instead, we dealt with unresolved bugs and incomplete functionalities. The most frustrating part was being stuck in the contract, which has been a financial burden for our agency, especially since the software is essentially unusable for our workflow. Even simple issues like user interface errors and connection problems were not addressed adequately, leaving us feeling trapped and dissatisfied with as a whole. Regards, The Social Media Team from bundesweit.digital

Pros

The tool has great potential, especially with its features that could support social media management and analytics. The integration with various platforms is possible, and the data analysis capabilities offer useful insights, if they work. However, that’s where the positive experience ends.

Cons

The main frustration was the poor onboarding process, which was confusing and poorly communicated. It was difficult to understand how to use the platform effectively, and even after trying to resolve issues, many remained unresolved. The platform is riddled with bugs, such as: •Inability to like posts and comments directly through , requiring users to do it manually via Instagram. •Automation features like Assignment disappearing, but continuing to run. •Continuous error messages when trying to connect Facebook accounts. •Broken “Send” button in the message writing interface, hidden by the support chat button. •Missing calendar overview for clients, with confusing links. •Lack of simultaneous posting across Instagram and Facebook, requiring duplicate planning. •Glitchy features like deleted comments reappearing immediately and scheduled posts not showing correctly in the calendar.

### "This tool has saved me unbelievable amounts of time!"

January 16, 2024

5.0

This tool has been a game changer! I've used similar products like Sprout Social or Hootsuite but is my preferred. The tools included and the account levels made the most sense for our organization and their customer service is incredible!

Pros

This has all the best features of a social media management tool wrapped up into one easy to navigate tool that is sleek, clean, and works well.

Cons

### "Falcon.io is a One Stop Social Media Stop for Agencies"

March 23, 2020

4.0

I shared most in the I like section. For our big client its been a godsend, with smaller clients a bit trickier. Its streamlined our content creation process and made us more consistent with posting at optimal times on different platforms than ever. Also we can get months ahead with scheduled content, like we'd always dreamed. Its freed up time for other important business things!

Pros

I love the dashboard interface, and the ability to switch from one Client (Project) to another. I absolutely LOVE that my team & I can post for clients on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter. We even can map out Instagram stories as a part of the overarching social media strategy. As an agency owner, I like the approval capabilities for my content creator or clients to create posts and for us to be the final approval and last eyes to see a post before it goes live. And last but not least, I am a huge fan of the reporting, easy to generate reports for each platform that we can send or review for clients as frequently as need. Also was extremely helpful for end of year/new year meetings I had in December and January, I was more prepared and educated about our stats than ever before, with just a few clicks.

Cons

Wishing you had Pintrest posting (we use and pay for Tailwind). More education on how to use social listening. More capabilities of the apps (to approve ideally or quick switch out or fix posts). To be able to answer chats/DMs in your app, so we can track our responses through stats.

Reason for choosing Brandwatch

All the features in one dashboard, and the Instagram integrations. We still don't use the Ad function, even though we anticipated it and tried.

Get yourself a 2-3 month trial before you buy. DO NOT SIGN AN ANNUAL CONTRACT as you'll spend a fortune on absolutely nothing. There are many other similar softwares out there at a fraction of the price.

Pros

Allowed scheduling for LinkedIn before any other platform did. Customer support is very good, despite the product being absolutely terrible.

Cons

Every aspect of this software is terrible. From lack of Reel support to improper data reporting to extra line breaks and "<?>" boxes when you schedule posts, Falcon is an overpriced nightmare that you should avoid at all costs. The product we were promised and the product we wound up with were two completely different things.

### "Powerful social media monitoring"

May 27, 2023

4.0

Generally positive, the tool has everything you might need to perform social media listening, however, it's slow load times make deep research a needlessly involved and time consuming process.

Pros

The firehose access to social media data allows to understands a brand current standing as well as it's evolution through time. Powerful analysis and visualization tools make finding insights a breeze.

Cons

The tool takes too long to load data and the initial monitor set up is cumbersome. If you are setting a forgetting a monitor, it's no problem, but the minute you need to tweak queries to reduce noise, your time goes out the window.

### "Must-Have for a Busy Agency"

August 10, 2021

5.0

Overall I love it for scheduling, analytics, and engagement management. I have noticed a few bugs with it not working certain days or posts not able to go through. But for the most part, with how much I use it, I've had minimal issues, and I would recommend this for any agency or social media marketer that is juggling a lot of clients.

Pros

This platform cuts out hours of time scheduling & customizing posts for multiple social media platforms. It's also a great tool for managing comments/messages for multiple clients in one easy, organized location.

Cons

FB Business Suite now allows you to schedule IG & FB stories, while Falcon still doesn't have that feature. Also we paid for the Advertising feature which allows you to set up FB ads directly through the platform, however I have found that I still end up using FB Ads Manager to maintain my advertising. I was excited about the idea of being able to do everything in one spot initially but the advertising feature is not easy to use, although I'm sure a lot of that has to do with what the FB API allows for third-party apps, and you can't easily set up different types of ads & optimization, so you end up having to move to FB Ads Manager anyway to do anything that isn't a basic "boost."

Reason for choosing Brandwatch

It had more capabilities, including the paid advertising feature.

### "Life is better with Falcon"

March 24, 2020

5.0

Falcon helped us massively streamline our approvals process, gives us a place to quickly and easily share graphics of channel and audience insights, and has overall created efficiencies for social media management.

Pros

An instinctive and smooth scheduling and approval process was one of the main reasons we first considered Falcon and we then found an array of extra features that helped convince us this was a good move: an on-boarding process, an account manager, analytics that are better than native stats, listening tools, and moderation. Having all of this in one place is a timesaver. In addition to the ongoing development of the tools, such as expanding Instagram and Linked In capabilities, Falcon is a real improvement to daily social media management compared to where we were.

Cons

We're still using native tools for ads, especially Facebook but can see this changing in time.

Reason for choosing Brandwatch

Good customer service at contact point as well as onboarding and ongoing was important; a price consideration for NFPs was crucial; and the most complete set of solutions across different social media management duties rounds off the reasons we went with Falcon.

### "Take the time to explore"

March 20, 2020

5.0

I am very impressed, I wasn't very famliar with it when I started using it but I'm starting to see the power of it. The learning curve, like I said, is a big one but there is a lot of help and resources available to navigate you thru it. I wish I started with the tutorials, like my CRM suggested but I hoped it would be fairly plug and play so that's my bad.

Pros

The best thing for me is their customer support. Falcon is a very robust software and it takes time to learn it. Having a person available at all times to answer your questions is a very powerful feature and one I've taken advantage of multiple times. They are always available, even if it is to help you locate a specific thing in your dashboard.

Cons

Probably the mobile apps. Since the software is so robust, there are a bunch of different apps that you need to perform all the different tasks. I think this is useful if you have a big team but our team is small, even thou our client is big and having so many different apps makes it quite annoying when trying to manage.

### "Overall, the best choice for your social network monitoring"

April 1, 2019

4.0

If you have to keep numerous channels in check, then Falcon is exactly what you need. The solution allows you to keep everything in order. It gives your team a comprehensive insight into your clients’ activities. We think it is one of the must-have programs.

Pros

With the help of Falcon Social, it has never been a problem to control all the company’s social media channels. We believe that the ability to create applications in the program is one of the best features of the Falcon platform. Besides, what we like about the program is its measure function. With its help, we do not face any serious problems and difficulties when creating and analyzing our reports. It is an all-in-one-place solution. Falcon gives us a great number of abilities to work on the content of our company, as well as provide our best practices through various media channels. Besides, the program allows making engagement with clients easier and more natural. All the things considered, it was definitely a worthy investment for our company.

Cons

Even though we did not have an urgent necessity to contact the Falcon support team, we believe it is a drawback not to have a phone hotline. Well, in some cases, it is a must for a customer to solve the problem occurring within the Falcon platform in the shortest time possible. In addition, it would be better for the service to have a more advanced ability for signing up for newsletters. We wish there was a feature of getting the necessary data and information into our company’s database.
