Customer Support

Comments: I purchased the product and used it for two years at my solo general practice law firm. I like the initial price. The company promised me that software had the ability to keep track or many everyday tasks and provide me with great case management. As a solo practitioner I wasn't needing much but something that kept my cases and clients organized.

The case management side of the software isn't bad but at times it is difficult to put in all the information you want in a case. While it attempted to allow you to integrate different things depending on the type of case you had, it was really basically all the same. This was frustrating when going from civil to criminal to probate. One big complaint is that the screen image is not very large and there is no way to adjust it. This was a killer when you really needed to see the screen. The developer says that all I had to do was to adjust my screen resolution but that was stupid in that by doing that it would affect all other software on your computer. They never fixed that issue. It was extremely difficult to print any form or report, nearly impossible. If you did get something to print it was all condensed on one page making the print font -5! This was one of the most frustrating things or all. What use is there of the software if you cannot print what you need.

Customer service was terrible. It took days and sometimes weeks to get a technician to respond to a request. If you ever got one he'd be on you computer for hours, apparently doing nothing. What made it worse is that every couple of months you would have to go through this just to get an update of your software because all of a sudden your case files would just disappear.

While there were some useful components in the software, all the other problems associated with the software make the software basically useless or at the very best, really frustrating. As my title says, I purchased the software because it was so much cheaper than the others. Why should I be surprised about what I received? I got what I paid for.
