As I said,, looks cool but overall experience is worse

Software looks very nice but they will take you clients data base once you decide to leave them ,,cannot download your complete data base of clients.

Cons

They are user friendly software in the market why to stick with poor customer service ,,plus one man show

Very positive, good tool, and someone actually answers the phone when you call their office - amazing!

Pros

The thoroughness of the report. I get complemented frequently on the report looks, features, and layout.

Cons

Somewhat steep learning curve, but worth it in the long run.

Harizons support team takes the time to listen to my issues and provided clear, concise answers to all of my questions. What truly stood out was their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my issue was resolved promptly and to my understanding.

Pros

I must say that this software was not difficult learn in the begining and has proven to be an easy read for my clients. It's user friendly interface, customization, comprehensive reporting, reliability and excellent customer support make it a top choice for any home inspection company seeking a powerful inspection software solution.

Cons

No comments at this time. I haven't experienced it yet.

So far, it has been good using horizon.

Pros

It is easy to use and to navigate through. The generated reports from horizon are neat and not too busy as I have seen with other reporting tool.

Cons

Inability to introduce personal or external illustrations other than what is in horizon. The issue of distorting my photos when I load it without working on the size. It usually lead to waste of time for me editing my photos and increase the time for me to turn out my report.

I found Horizon software system user friendly and the staff very helpful

Pros

The reporting software is a very profession system and I found the \[sensitive content hidden\] staff were always very obliging and extremely helpful and patient in providing a resolution to my problem.

Cons

I did not find the software difficult to use and found it was an easy transition into my inspection system.

I have loved my experience with Horizon! I have learned methods over the years how to make the best looking reports. It's taken some time but once you learn little tricks, it makes for a wonderful presentation. Also, I have been super impressed with their customer service! Anytime I send an email, they usually answer back within an hour. I've also never seen a company so committed to YOUR success. The owner(s) of the company often do live webinars to help train you better how to use and implement the software to improve your workflow and build your company. It really is an amazing system.

Pros

Horizon is easy to use, easy to integrate, easy to navigate and easy to modify. Reports look super professional and client's and realtors are always pleased with the ease of navigation and the overall appearance. I love the ability to add or remove the images that are preloaded into Horizon. It really makes for a beautiful and informative report.

Cons

I don't like some of the imbedded coding. For example, when I add my own comments, or my own defect, sometimes it comes out weird in the report. It will put one line at the very bottom of a page and then kick it to the next page. I do like that. Also, I would like to be able to change the size of images in the report, both the photos I take, but also the images that are available to add. Sometimes you get two of those photos on a page and that's all. It would be nice to be able to make two of the preloaded pictures fit side by side.

There was a month or so when the desktop Offline version wasn't working and it took several calls to Support to get it going again.

Pros

I started using Horizon about 7 years ago. It took a few reports to get the hang of it, Like any others.What i like the most is the way it fills in my writing that I have already written before. I also like the way I can work on it with my laptop when I dont have internet access. I like the descktop version. I do 99% of the reports ont he desktop version and then go into the online version to finish up.

Cons

I have asked before if there was a way to start a new section without it going to the next Page. It leaves a big blank area and makes the report look longer. To me, I don't care, but I get comments back from realtors about how long they are.

Reasons for choosing Horizon

Honesty Cant remember. I think I was finishing up my 2 week course in St. Louis and there was a Rep there or a booth and I liked how the pictures worked.

Horizon help desk is awesome every time I have called they have helped me and guided me through with the issues that I was having. And have called back when I have left messages in reference to issues and not leave you hanging!

Pros

Horizon software is very easy to use and has awesome templates to make your reports Stand out. You can upload your own items such as photos, also you can use the illustrations that are provided in the software that looks amazing when added to the report. The speed write section is awesome once you get it down. This is a very powerful tool once you get everything down.

Cons

The downside is unable to edit with the program on you devices have to wait until I get back home and connect with my laptop, and also add function like low, medium, and high priority items, but other than that awesome product.

Horizon realizes more than any other software that time is precious, whether yours or your clients and is laser focused on saving it. They are constantly upgrading the system with an eye towards making things easier and faster while not sacrificing the end product. My typical day includes 2 inspections with reports on site averaging 3-4 hours at each inspection, answering the phone, booking new inspections and travelling on average 300-400 km. There is no way I could do it without Horizon.

Pros

The mobile app is fast and responsive. The report writes itself as you do the inspection.Everything is integrated, once information is entered in the work order Horizon looks after everything from contracts to reminder and follow up emails. Less time spent on the booking and administration side of the business means more time inspecting and with clients. I also like the all in pricing. I get access to all Horizon's features for one price.

Cons

There have been recent issues with photo upload in the app. Hopefully short lived.The booking side of the system needs updating to a more mobile friendly system that matches the inspection app for speed and efficiency
