Pros

The user friendly aspects. The system is as user friendly as it gets. Besides, anything you can't figure out, one simple and quick phone call will get you the answers you are looking for.

Cons

Inaccurate IFTA reporting. The miles are so far off the actual miles driven, we are forced to manually acquire the data. That takes a very long time.

### "Useful but still needs improvements"

Pros

I think dispatch function is ok. We can enter most of the information we need. Lists, Dispatch, Fleet functions are ok except Accounting.

Cons

The accounting function needs to be improved a lot. Multiple invoices can be marked as "Pay off" on Invoice Payment Entry, but only one at once can be unmarked. Also, if we want to make an adjustment for an invoice, we should remove all the paid items to do that, but as I said, we need to select each one to remove from "Pay off". One more thing, we can send invoices to customers but in the email that PCS sent, there's no receiver email address stated. When we forward the invoice email that we sent out from PCS to the customer to prove that we sent it out, they always say they didn't receive it, pointing out there's no receiver email address on it.

Overall, my experience with PCS TMS has been very positive. Since I handle both dispatch and accounts, I find the system easy to use and efficient for managing load booking, tracking, and payment processes. While there are occasional delays during peak usage, it still supports our daily operations effectively.

Pros

Since I handle both dispatch and load booking, I find PCS TMS extremely useful. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to book loads, track shipments, and update statuses. It streamlines operations and helps my team save a significant amount of time.

Cons

At times, the system shows minor delays, particularly when many users are active simultaneously. Also, certain sections could be enhanced to make navigation smoother and more user-friendly.

The system is complete and covers almost all our requirements, is friendly but I guess they still need to work on improve the reports

Cons

structure, easy to find information, dispatch, and accounting control, reports is something where they need to improve

### "Getting There, needs more fine-tuning"

Hoping for the release of the new web based system to be able to have more customized reports/screens/and options.

Pros

Integration, automation, and cradle to grave record keeping. The integration of our tracking is helpful.

Cons

Clumsy Dispatch Screens. Have to open and close too many windows to get basic information. Maintenance scheduling and record keeping is something to be desired. The automation in dispatching orders is great in theory, but can and will skip dispatches, when dispatching out multiple orders for multiple days. Would be nice to have a drop down box to prioritize orders in the correct order. The assumption of times with orders that have multiple days to pickup, throws mileage off, example order can pickup from 4/18 to 4/20 seems to confuse the system into excessive dead head miles.

So far, we are satisfied with PCS services. However, pricing needs to be reviewed and system needs more up-to date features like AI etc (some TMS's offer AI services)

Pros

User friendly. As it is cloud-based we don't have to worry about updates. Mobile-friendliness enables the management to monitor from anywhere. Further, it integrates with any platform out there.

Cons

Personally I didn't like pricing. Despite being older TMS in the market, price is not competitive. I think pricing drives the customers away from PCS

### "Inadequate Reporting"

When QuickBooks Enterprise is a better reporting program, you know you are missing something important to businesses. Since we can't readily export data from PCS to QuickBooks, we are stuck with using a very expensive "data miner" to get the information needed to run the business.

Pros

The sales staff seems to use it fairly efficiently to schedule loads and follow up with customers.

Cons

Everything related to accounting reporting. I'm an accountant, and it's my job to report results to management. With the incomplete and messy reports that we can download from PCS to Excel we are very limited in our ability to report results.

Used this TMS for 14 yeas with my company, and 5 years with my previous company. Always received a great product, and great support when needed.

Pros

Everything I need in one product. Dispatch, accounting, and fuel.

Cons

Would like a lower price point. As a small fleet, not including insurance, this is over 60% of my fixed monthly cost.

What I liked most about PCS TMS is its user-friendly interface and the way it streamlines daily attendance and time tracking. The system makes it easy to monitor working hours, breaks, and overall productivity with clear and organized data. I also appreciate the real-time updates and accuracy, which help reduce manual effort and improve transparency.

Cons

What I liked least about PCS TMS is that at times the system can feel a bit rigid, especially when handling multiple short breaks or frequent in-and-out entries. It can also be slightly difficult to quickly review or adjust entries, which may impact efficiency. Improving flexibility and making navigation more intuitive would enhance the overall user experience.

Many functions take longer to complete since the information does not have any links to flow through the entire load in accounting (aka invoicing all the way to when it is paid). Many functions need to be updated for quicker access.

Pros

System to easy to learn. Reports and EDI invoicing easy to use, documents are easy to change once in the system.

Cons

Unable to drag and drop documents into the system. The look is very outdated and is hard to follow a whole load through to the end without looking on multiple screens. Does not include much information on activity within the system (aka timestamps and users on all screens).

Bad - Also terrible customer service team - no one communicates. Took forever to have them fix broken things in their system/processes.

Pros

Nothing - It really is not user friendly or efficient. They have been saying they are going to cloud for far too long now. Doubt it ever happens.

well, I guess its better than an excel spreadsheet ...

Cons

the cost is not realistically aligned with what is delivered or what the system is able to actually do when compared with other service providers. With a limited ability to pull/produce reports -its nearly impossible to customize reports to get everything that is wanted or needed without pulling multiple variations of a report. It does not grow with a business not is it adaptable to meet a growth orientated needs or wants

When someone logs in the platform when someone else is using it, it just kicks out the initial user. Maybe before it does that, it should give both users a notification and ask for their input to ask one of them to log out first to let other one use it.

good, could be better, work on the shutting down then keeping me logged in and having to "log in" to log out just to log back in.

Pros

the seamless, transition from putting the load in and then dispatching and sending to the driver. that is all

it shuts down A LOT, while I'm putting in loads, dispatching it will just "bug out" disconnect and shut down.

My experience with PCS TMS is that I like the system. It is user friendly. The training is also user friendly and anything you forget you can find in the Help search.

Pros

PCS customer support is great any time we need help we receive it. PCS gives you the ability to have everything you need right at the click of a button with its Data Management.

Cons

Not having the ability to do everything from your keyboard without having to touch a mouse. I think that this could make for a faster and smother process in the system.

All good. Overall pleased with the program. It would be nice to have the ability to hilight specific lines on the screen so it's easier to find the info I need.

Pros

The ease of use and the ability to use multiple screens at once. My favorite feature is the ability to transform any report into a spreadsheet.

Cons

Can't search for the reports that I need to access. At times it's hard to locate what I need. There are some payables on the AP report that I can't get rid of.

It is very expensive and it could use a refresh. The refresh was shown to me over a year ago, it would be nice to get it.

We really enjoy all in one platform, dispatch and accounting, also security which is now essential now days.

Cons

I just wish there is more ways for dispatchers and customers to interact, there are a lot of improvement on the customer portal that can be achieved also on dispatch communication that can make it easy to trace and track.

mediocre search options. redundant prompts to simply dispatch a load.

Pros

It works? it is a TMS system, that opens and closes.

Cons

Close out of the load when you click off of it. what is the advantage of keeping a person locked in a load when they click off? also, why when building a load, does it not allow you to do a location search based off of address while in it?
