The miles are so far off the actual miles driven, we are forced to manually acquire the data. That takes a very long time. It’s a reliable system that helps streamline daily operations and keeps everything organized in one place. Once you get familiar with it, it definitely makes managing tasks and tracking much easier. There are a few areas that could be improved, especially on mobile and with real-time updates, but overall, it does the job well and adds value to the workflow. Pros The mobile access is highly convenient and user-friendly. It allows real-time monitoring and dispatching of load on the go in afterhours also. Notifications and updates are timely, making it easy to stay informed without needing constant desktop access. Cons The mobile experience doesn’t always feel as smooth as the desktop version. Some features are a bit harder to find or just not there, and it can be a little slow at times especially when we’re trying to pull up a lot of information quickly. Cons One of the things I like the least is that it freezes and then kicks you out quite often even in the middle of processes. It doesn't go back to where you were at, so you have to waste a lot of time figuring out what it did or didn't finish before it kicked you out. STAY AWAY Pros There are absolutely no advantages to using PCS Software—only constant issues, delays, and outdated tools. Cons Terrible Customer Service – No timely support or resolution. – Ongoing issues not being addressed (e.g., BOL upload problem). Outdated Software & Misleading Marketing – Features don’t work as advertised. – Basic functions like pre-saving charges are missing. No Scan Option for Paperwork – Can’t digitize or streamline documentation easily. Email Overload – Dispatch emails clogging up drivers’ personal inboxes. – No centralized or filtered system. Pros Integration, automation, and cradle to grave record keeping. The integration of our tracking is helpful. Cons Clumsy Dispatch Screens. Have to open and close too many windows to get basic information. Maintenance scheduling and record keeping is something to be desired. The automation in dispatching orders is great in theory, but can and will skip dispatches, when dispatching out multiple orders for multiple days. Would be nice to have a drop down box to prioritize orders in the correct order. The assumption of times with orders that have multiple days to pickup, throws mileage off, example order can pickup from 4/18 to 4/20 seems to confuse the system into excessive dead head miles. There is a lot of features and it's hard to master them all but the customer service is always there to help when needed. Cons There are limitations to how the system can be used, not all features can be customized and it makes it difficult sometimes to use. Also, with time card feature I don't like that you have to choose a shift. We have drivers that don't drive according to schedule and that's who we need the time cards the most. Would be helpful if information was easier to access. for example: all information for a driver should be accessible from one place. Drivers compliance cannot be seen except under fleet tab. All drivers information should be accessible from one location point. instead of certain information being only avilable under one tab or area.
