It made campaigns easy and a great place to segment your communication and subscribers. Pros I used constant contact a newsletter and direct email ad campaigns. I liked on how could create segmented subscribers for each campaign. Our campaigns were donor, partner, and alumni related. I like the structure and design of the newsletter and ad templates. I liked the preview view so you know how it would appear to subscribers. For a beginning like me, constant contacts was easybto grasp and understand. If i had trouble, i would simply search for tutorials or reach to constant contacts for support. Also the newsletters and email ads were mobile friendly! It is also very easy to embed the message onto webpages and share a link for others to view it. Cons Their UI design is very outdated and the graphics don't look very pretty. Every week I use the same template but delete images and articles and add new ones as necessary. Pros I like how easy it is to create newsletters either from scratch or a previously used template. I also really like the drag and drop approach to building the newsletter. I also like that there is a native tie-in to Canva, so you can edit images or graphics with Canva when using them in your newsletter. I also love the ability to track clicks. Cons Sometimes, when building the newsletter, the blocks will snap to the wrong part of the newsletter. Fixing this is pretty easy, but it can be frustrating when trying to drag a box from the bottom all the way to the top and it snaps to the wrong position. It's very easy to create lists that you can organize and streamline your email marketing. They also make it easy for you to test your audience when emailing a newsletter to. Great as you don't always want to send the same email out to the same people. Cons I am not a huge fan of their designs. As a visual artist, it's helpful to be able to personalize the templates to your brand, and it is not as easy to do that in Constant Contact. Plus, they became very pricy as you added more emails to your account, which is a major consideration for small businesses. Cons What I find less user friend is the dragging and dropping of elements when creating a campaign. It's taken me a bit of time to get used to it but once I did, it's actually very user friendly and easy to adapt the templates to what I need.
