Implementing Constant Contact with our team has been more advantageous, as recognized below. The use of the welcome series and engagement campaigns has enabled the firm to keep an excellent client rapport. I find its reliability concerning the large send volumes and the variety of the reporting tools to be indispensable for our communications plans.

Pros

One of Constant Contact's strongest features is that it's constantly updating analytic tools that show the open rate and pattern of the campaigns and the subscribers. I have to note how easy the platform is to use, especially the drag-and-drop feature, and they also provide templates depending on the industry, financial services in this particular case. For example, the possibility to divide the audience according to behavioral data and develop an email sequence based on the customer's interactions makes it highly effective for financial messaging.

Cons

Compared to the competitors, possible A/B tests are more restricted; the possibility of tests at Newsletter2Go is only subject lines of the message. Where improvements can be made is in how the template's customization is: some aspects remain set in stone when attempting to adhere to precise branding standards. The social media integration tools must be advanced for enhancing marketing.

### "Easy to use, cost based off number of emails stored"

The cost kept increasing for me because I needed to upload a new list each time I send out an email based off our current active customers. So If I had 5000 email address, 1000 of them may no longer be a customer of mine. But I still got charged even though I didn't email them any longer. It was hard for me to figure out which emails to delete as our customers changed weekly.

Pros

Constant contact was easy to use. Templates were easy to find and set up and reporting was excellent.

Cons

I did not like that you were charged based off how many email address were stored. I may have 5000 email addresses, but only emailed 3000 at any given time.

Overall, it did a great job for us. We managed multiple mailing lists of 10's of thousands of subscribers each, and it was a reliable, affordable partner as we grew our business.

Pros

Constant Contact is a fantastic email system for an up-and-coming business. It generates good-looking emails quickly, does a great job of managing subscriber lists, and it integrates neatly into many social media platforms.

Cons

Custom-formatting templates can be a bit of a struggle, and the HTML interface isn't always a reliable representation of what your subscribers will see in their inboxes.

Overall good, i have used it at multiple jobs at this point and absolutely love it

Pros

It is a really easy to use CRM with a lot different feature all in a good price range

Cons

We use it for a newsletter mostly and contact management, it doesn't allow you to edit the pictures to fit, which is annoying. It's integration with wordpress is also really tricky, you cannot edit it to look better

The calendar view of the scheduled emails is so helpful!

The list functions are somewhat limited since you have to upload and save each list individually.

Again, it has been a positive experience. Customers appreciate me staying in contact with them and taking the opportunity to answer questions maybe they haven't asked yet or explaining things in more detail.

Pros

This has been so easy to use. It's a plus to stay in contact with customers in between their appointments and Constant Contact saves time and a lot of the work.

Cons

Nothing negative really to say about Constant Contact. It has been a very time saving addition to the business.

### "Good Product for Anyone Looking for Easy to Use Email Tool"

I help my friend set up newsletters and promotional emails. The process is easy, I can do everything her needs. I like that it can email early results.

Pros

It’s easy to use, managing the lists is easy. The design flexibility is good. Easy for beginners to figure out. I was pleased with the overall experience. I am helping a friend and he is happy with it. It’s easy to preview and send test emails.

Cons

There really isn’t anything I dislike but if I’m forcing myself to come up with something, adding an image to an email is a little clunky. Seems like it could be updated/made a smoother flow. It feels like it was created a long time ago and not updated. It’s not bad enough to say I would recommend my friend use something else.

Pros

Constant Contact is easy to use and I enjoy the reporting capabilities. The re-send to non-openers function is ideal as well.

Cons

I wish there were more graphic design options and background templates. I often end up using Canva to create my own designs.

### "A Strong Comeback for Constant Contact"

After returning to Constant Contact, I’ve been impressed by how far it has come. The platform is now on par with MailChimp in terms of capabilities, and in some cases even exceeds it. For organizations using DonorPerfect, the integration makes the decision to switch simple. The lack of a little extra polish is more than made up for by the reliability, improved UX, and robust functionality.

Pros

The interface and user experience are a huge improvement compared to a few years ago. It feels modern, intuitive, and matches the ease of use I’ve experienced with MailChimp. The seamless integration with DonorPerfect makes it especially valuable for nonprofits.

Cons

The design and interface, while much improved, could still feel a bit more polished and inviting. It does the job well, but it lacks some of the visual smoothness of other platforms.

It was great for beginning email blasts, but compared to competitors now, I feel like it is outdated.

Pros

The product is great for small businesses. The ease of use and clean dashboard make it preferrable for even new employees with zero marketing experience.

Cons

There is a free trial, but no free plan. You have to purchase in order to keep it. I had issues when I tried to cancel membership

Constant Contact has been very useful for e-news, event, and fundraising communication. For the most part the platform is user friendly and intuitive to use. It's nice that multiple team members can have access to use the platform and send out communication. It's important to keep an eye on the number of contacts in your system and remove any outdated ones because Constant Contact bills by the number of contacts in your account.\`I appreciate that I can pull data on the e-mail campaigns to understand readership and behavior. I use the data for quarterly reports at board meetings.

Pros

I like that Constant Contact provides a more dynamic and visual way of communicating information to stakeholders versus traditional e-mail. I also like that e-mail campaigns can be built and scheduled to go at a specific time. There are many formatting options available too.

Cons

Currently Constant Contact does not integrate with any of our organization's other databases, so our contact lists in the platform have to be updated manually. Thus, our contact lists would quickly get outdated if we didn't have a process in place. Also, sometimes the system options do not allow for a preferred format for e-mail campaigns.

What I like about Constant Contact is the easy to use interface and the high stable deliverability rates.

Cons

one of the major things I didn’t like about Constant Contact is the value to price it’s just not compared to to flodesk but better than mailchimp.

### "Expensive but world class"

Constant Contact is a bit more expensive compared to some other email marketing platforms, but I feel like you’re paying for the ease of use and reliability. It’s definitely one of the more user-friendly tools out there, especially if you’re not super tech-savvy. For the features it offers, especially the event management it’s worth it, but I do think there are cheaper options if you’re just looking for basic email marketing.

Pros

CC has amazing delivery, honestly there is no better provider for making sure your email gets to the inbox. On top of that everything is very easy to use and their support is world class. Not always available but always helpful.

Cons

Really expensive to be honest. Also they can be very strict about what your allowed to send.

I did not have a good experience with constant contact which pushed me to shop around for other platforms. I work with a team which includes event planners, designers, communication professionals and no one had a positive experience with Constant Contact.

Pros

Kind of easy to collaborate with team. A section to interact with other users when the help desk cannot provide solutions to problems.

Cons

Not easy to get platform help. The platform settings don't always save which causes mistakes. The contact list is not sophisticated, the formatting is clunky, and event side of the platform does not have enough capabilities.

User friendly interface. Expensive if you have a lot of contacts. Even unsibs are counted as contacts.

Pros

Ease of use. Intuitive UI allows for easy design of marketing emails.

Cons

Price was a bit high and unsubs cluntwd towards contacts count. CS hit or miss.

Bounced contacts count, but there's still a possibility they are valid email addresses that just need to be investigated and cleared away, if necessary.
