You will always have the patients who are not interested and are upset to receive the email. It increases sales and more patients schedule for the event. Pros Everything needed for a successful mail merge and email blast is at your fingertips. We have a small office and it works well. Responses to the emails are returned for those who are not interested in receiving the emails. Cost is very affordable. Cons Customer service is sometimes lacking. You can have an amazing representative but for those times you do not it becomes frustrating.. If the cost was not so reasonable I would would think twice about continuing the service. July 11, 2018 5.0 We are able to inform specific groups of people important information. We can reach large audiences or small audiences. Constant Contact makes it pretty easy to format attractive looking emails. Pros I like being able to send lots of emails to our email lists. It is extremely helpful to have a method for sending emails to targeted groups of folks on our mailing lists. It's great to be able to customize lists of our followers and send them useful information. Cons The actually creation of the email can have some funky formatting stuff happen that can be a pain sometimes. The text formatting will sometimes not let you change it when you send a test email for a coworker to review, the style of the font will sometimes revert to something that you didn't want. I also find that I have to create a whole new pdf outside of Constant Contact in order to format pictures that I want to put in the email. You can't really freely place photos, so I normally create the photo spread I want and then upload that. Constant Contact allows me to put a list of all our new feature in the inbox of our customers. Our unsubscribe rate is very low and we have a high read rate, which shows that the emails are working well. Pros This helps my staff that have no knowledge of design or editing have the capability of sending newsletters with the click of a button. The QYSIWYG editor helps make this process very easy to use. Cons Deleting images from the gallery will cause broken links in any newsletters you sent out previously, and there is no warning about this. Review Source JL Jaime L. While it does possibly offer a more "professional" feel on the side of the creator for larger, more "corporate" companies, the platform feels very old-school and is not super aesthetically pleasing. Very easy to use and navigate even if you aren't super tech savvy. You can customize as little or as much as you want and even the inexpensive options give you a lot to work with. I also like how you can look into the analytics of your emails if you are into that sort of thing. Cons There is honestly not much I do not like. It is super simple to use and really does the job. If I had to nitpick at something, I would say that sometimes the colors and borders can be a little tougher to adjust but that isn't a big deal at all! Pros Constant Contact is tried and true. I've used it for many years and it's easy to create many types of email marketing things. Straight forward and anyone can generate something by following the site. Cons The features for Constant Contact could use some work. What should be some easy creative changes to a newsletter template can become quite difficult. You can import, export, view a variety of reports, and conduct your email marketing with ease and then get the metrics on your campaigns. Cons Like most of the mass email software programs, sometimes systems block Constant Contact emails - this may be more of a function of the recipient rather than the program, but still worth mentioning. Not a big deal though if you simply let the recipient know it is you and they can whitelist you. April 21, 2021 2.0 I was told to get 3 months free because my accountant has some promotional referral but they kept charging me. When I told them the guy on the phone told me that he was not the one who promised :)) What a scam. It's very difficult to cancel the account, you can not delete your data online, also they will argue with you to cancel. No refunds are given if you are unhappy with the products. Then the guy begged me to stay and offered another free month and a %60 lifetime discount. :)) No dignity. Pros there is nothing good with this scam software so far. Mailchimp is much better for email marketing and you can pay per use. It has a very basic contacts page. SEO is promised but by far worse than WordPress which is free. Web builder is a trap for commission. Don't recommend it to anybody. Cons Software is similar to Mailchimp. But advertised as a CRM and contact management to me. It is expensive for the purpose and you can not pay per use which is unfair to most. On the phone, they tell you what you want to hear. After purchase they deny it. Also if an individual either wants to sign-up to receive or wants to be removed from the list - it is easy for any user to do it themselves with no admin needed. Pros We use the product to send out our monthly newsletter from the church. It is easy to format and the ability to embed hyper-links for other sites or even pages on our website is great. I ability to track who has opened our newsletter is very helpful. Cons There is nothing in particular I did not like about the software. I can see there are more tools in the software that I am not using yet and would like to learn more about how to use them. So, I have to take sometime to learn them better. Review Source Michael L. First they advertise that a free membership includes one marketing assist call (which isn't true). Then they say if you upgrade to a paid membership that you get help from a marketing expert. Turns out that is wrong also. All you get is someone to spend 15 minutes on the phone with you to basically say "Here's the software, figure it out". When I asked about the promise of a marketing expert, they said that would be another monthly fee. Basically, they promise that certain features are available at certain membership levels, and then continue to not provide those, and say you need higher levels of membership to receive those. Pros Software seems well built and easy to use Cons Problem is with the company itself, not the software Reason for choosing Constant Contact Because of the promises that they made. They didn't keep a single promise that they made to really try and help my business succeed. It puts the control of managing your contacts and making professional emails into your hands. Pros It's not just the ability to compose a very professional email, which it does. Constant Contact excels most at keeping all of your clients organized into contact groups. This allows for a very simple way to target your marketing endeavors. Clients are given the ability to opt-out, thus keeping us inline with Canadian anti-spam legislation laws. Having Constant Contact is like having an entire marketing department working for you. So simple, yet so invaluable. Cons The editor in Constant Contact is certainly not MS Word! There are strange behaviors that take place with the software that cause frustration, specifically when copying and pasting from other sources. The gym was never opened again and they kept charging us for more than a year! They are refusing to refund the charges and did not stop charge our credit card until we cancel it with bank. Cons The only thing that can sometimes be inconvenient is that when you are uploading many contacts from an Excel sheet (for example), you have to make sure that all of the fields on the Excel sheet match what is in Constant Contact or else it will not work.
