Has a great email marketing approach which sees to it that transition of leads into customers is smooth and effortless. Cons Everything is fine. It is an affordable tool to avoid the challenges faced in the digital world. However, the main challenge my colleagues have raised is the difficulty in cancelling the subscription. Our use of it has more than tripled our donations from email marketing in less than a year while taking less staff time to implement than our previous unsuccessful efforts. It has also provided us with the data to continuously update our tactics to provide for the best possible returns. Pros Constant Contact gives you professional tools to create state of the art email campaigns without having to hire actual professionals. It keeps us from trying to reinvent the wheel, or worse, using methods that have been shown to be counterproductive. Prior to its implementation, we sent mass emails when an executive decided we needed to send an email. Information was conveyed, but there was no rhyme or reason to the timing, purpose, or goal of the emails. We were doing the equivalent of sending out flyers to businesses, hoping they posted them, then doing nothing to followup on whether they were beneficial. Now, we have planned campaigns targeted at specific groups with a set of goals to achieve. Cons Our initial integration was beyond difficult. Not because of Constant Contact, but because of the haphazard methods we had used to collect and store information. But it did mean that there was significant time invested in getting our initial lists imported, which led to certain staff who did not see the benefit of e-mail marketing questioning whether we had made a wise investment. The design interface is easy to use, but it is also easy to import your own designs from other sources. As an office manager, I have purged a lot of unnecessary subscriptions from our work flow, but Constant Contact has never been one I've really considered. The price is comparable to other services, and the FAQ is helpful. Cons There is nothing I particularly dislike about constant contact. The ease of typing an email address into Donor Perfect and knowing that it will be added to our email list in Constant Contact has been wonderful. My staff was already using Canva, so being able to upload that contact into emails we create through Constant Contact has been a huge plus for them. Cons There was a steep learning curve the first month we used Constant Contact that lead to a lot of wasted time that first month, but the time savings since then has more than made up for it. It's fantastic that I can design my emails to look unique and send them at times that are most convenient for my readers.
