My overall experience with Constant Contact has been very positive. It provides an intuitive platform for creating professional email campaigns, managing contact lists, and tracking campaign performance without a steep learning curve.

Pros

What I liked most about Constant Contact was how easy it made email marketing, even for users without technical experience. The drag-and-drop email builder, professionally designed templates, and intuitive contact management made it simple to create and send polished campaigns.

Cons

While Constant Contact is easy to use, I found some of its more advanced marketing and automation capabilities to be limited compared to other platforms. Building complex customer journeys, creating highly customized workflows, and managing detailed segmentation can feel restrictive.

Overall, Constant Contact does a pretty good job for what we need it to as a small non-profit. It has definitely been worthwhile to keep around and very useful for keeping our members/donors/community members informed of organizational happenings. It also has good connectivity with other apps for forms, etc.

Pros

Working as a part-time marketing coordinator for a non-profit, Constant Contact seems to provide the most value for the money. It keeps our lists organized and is easy to use in terms of quickly sending out emails.

Cons

The actual email builder seems a bit clunky in terms of being able to quickly design a nice email. I generally find myself designing the email in Canva and importing the image, but then there is limited functionality with creating links, buttons, and form items.

Pros

Statistical tracking tools (open rates, clicks) provide clear, actionable charts to adjust communication campaigns. Email deliverability is also excellent.

Cons

The monthly cost grows exponentially as the contact database expands, which represents a heavy financial burden for a growing business. The interface for creating website sign-up forms also lacks modern design and graphical flexibility.

It’s not trying to be some massive marketing command center with a shiny AI sticker on the side. It’s a practical email marketing tool, and for the work we use it for, that’s enough. It gives us a reliable place to manage contacts, organize lists, build template-based campaigns, send emails, and review basic results without making the process feel like a technical expedition. The weak spot is administration. Account ownership, subaccounts, and recovery could be cleaner, especially for organizations with multiple teams under one umbrella. But for short-lived campaigns, seasonal messages, one-off updates, and focused communications, Constant Contact has been dependable and easy to work with.

Pros

It handles the practical machinery of email marketing: contact storage, list management, templates, campaign creation, sending, and basic reporting, without turning every campaign into an engineering project. The list management is especially useful. Contacts are easy to store, organize, and segment, which makes it simple to reach the right audience for short-lived campaigns, seasonal messages, one-off updates, or focused communications. Campaign creation is also straightforward enough that non-technical users can build and send clean emails without IT standing nearby with a wrench and a flashlight. I also appreciate that phone support still exists, because when there’s an account, billing, or campaign issue, talking to an actual human makes cleanup much easier.

Cons

The campaign side works well enough once people are inside the machine, but the ownership model can feel like a control panel built by committee when you’re supporting multiple teams, departments, or locations under one broader organization. The Account Owner still seems to be the center for billing, ownership, and higher-level account control. Roles like Account Manager and Campaign Creator help, but they don’t fully solve the central admin problem. From an IT operations standpoint, I’d like stronger centralized oversight so one admin team can govern the account cleanly while each team still manages its own campaigns. Ownership recovery is another weak spot. If the original owner leaves, support may need to get involved, which creates unnecessary cleanup work and operational risk.

My experience has been good. It has really helped in strengthening our client relationships through a consistent and well-thought-out communication process. It is accessible for both my team and client-facing teams. Although I would appreciate the addition of more advanced features, for now, it is working well.

Pros

Constant Contact has helped us maintain communication with our clients via targeted campaigns. I mostly use its email templates, which save me much of my time and keep a professional approach. One of the great factors is that we can have open rates and click-through metrics, which ultimately help us refine our engagement strategy.

Cons

While running multiple campaigns, it does get complicated. Sometimes I feel a lack of personalization options in email templates.

Pros

I like constant contact because it helps make contacting clients and talent alot easier when trying to search a contact number

Cons

The least i would say i like about it is how sometimes it can take a period of time to load a certain amount of contacts.

Its price is high compared to other software like Brevo and Mailchimp for almost the same contact lists.

Pros

You’re able to easily write and send a mass email to our contact list. This makes it less of a hassle.

Cons

It would be great if they made sending mass texts as easy as the emails are. Other than that everything is still great!

Overall, constant contact is a great tool for businesses to be able to communicate with their customers, and businesses really cannot function without this technology in today’s time. Email Marketing is one of the biggest ways businesses bring in sales and revenue.

Pros

Constant contacts is a great way to communicate with your customers and send emails in bulk to a lot of people at once. We are able to get out our deals, promotions, and new product launches to everyone.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like I wanna make my email look a little bit more professional or customized and there’s a few customizations I’ve seen that I wasn’t able to do.
