It has helped with our signal strength. Pros I like on the android and windows platforms the bridging between cellular and WiFi is convenient and ideal for large areas with multiple cell towers and WiFi waypoints. Cons With Apple the feature to choose the stronger signal between wifi or cellular is controlled by the iOS and not the app so the device holds onto wifi rather than swapping to the stronger signal. Its easy i don't have to take any extra steps I can just un dock my laptop and go to my meeting and begin working. Pros I love that I can unplug my laptop and work from anywhere and not have to connect to the WiFi it just works. I have everything at my fingertips and its seamless for me. Cons It could be my computer but sometimes when I un-dock my laptop NetMotion will disconnect. I will have to turn it off on my laptop then reconnect it in order for it to work. Just some odd nuances like that with the software but when it works it works perfectly. Simple integration with AD and a granular configuration options for Devices, users and groups. TCP persistence can allow applications to work smooth even in areas with poor connection. Pros NetMotion mobility client supports desktop and Mobile VPN connections with multitude of authentication options including RADIUS and NTLM and many others. Smart software that is able to switch from internet to intranet when you are back in the office. Easy to manage and integrate with your internal AD infrastructure. NetMotion Analytics can be used as a fantastic troubleshooting tool on top of its reporting functionality. TCP persistence is where NetMotion really shines and stands out from any other VPN provider. Cons I have not experience any cons for the application. Great support and a great piece of software - definitely one of the best ones out there. Cost can be a factor, but the service it provides is irreplaceable. Despite, the issues that arise.....I really enjoy the software. Pros Netmotion is easy to install on the client side and take some setting up on the server side. It is easy to use gives you great access to your network when you are on the "go". If you have an internet connection, you can connect into your VPN. Updates are regular, and they are typically kept up to date with Windows releases as well. The connection is easy to connect and disconnect at your convenience and it can even load and connect on start up. Management is easy if you have an external IP for it to use. Cons The client can mess with printing and other functions that are network related. Sometimes it will be able to work with devices that are on your "outside" network and sometimes it won't when the VPN is connected.
