Variety of functions Pros Many options available for use. We do financial management, residential management, construction management and can flow from one to another when needed. Cons At times, there are certain processes that do not react the same way in the different areas...for example, if in construction mgmt the screen doesn't automatically go places that it might in financial mgmt. Even with their unsupported or out-dated products they give full and helpful support and are generally great polite people to work with. Their product is great and easy to use, with reports in multiple formats without the need for conversions. This has helped our organization out with our Tax Credit Syndicators as some prefer PDF reports and others Excel. Thus making the ability to do this a great asset to the company. Cons The only thing I caution people on is making sure the databases are set up correctly. If you don't configure it right the first time it is sometimes harder to go back and change things (number of properties needed, etc.) then set it up right the first time. Cons It can take a moment to learn the system as things are not as easy to find. Sometimes it can take a bit to find what you need as well as you will need to go multiple routes. " December 14, 2018 5.0 Reporting is really strong, especially the financial reporting packages. It is extremely user-friendly and very easy to navigate from one module to another. If can have more reports available or the flexibility to customize report, that would be great. Pros Very strong for accounting, lease administration, property management. AR reports, rent roll and other tenant reports are easily readable and update from the quickly and efficiently. Cons Can't run NNN report, or P&L report per square feet. February 3, 2022 5.0 Amazing and definitely recommend this software to manage your finances!! Pros I usually only use Yardi to process invoices and bills and to track the processing of invoices. It is so easy to keep a record of the accounts payable and has absolutely amazing features that allows us to pay with any payment method that is suitable to us. The record of each invoice along with exact dates, payment date, entry date is amazing to have and to align with our accounting. Love it! Pros Pulling reports is extremely easy to do with Yardi. They offer all different reports that many other property management software companies don't offer. I also love the dashboard- it gives a quick glance of the property in one screen. You can see occupancy, shows, move outs, and more right away- where other software requires you to pull multiple reports. Cons The interface/style of the software is my least favorite thing about Yardi. Other management softwares, such as ResMan, look much more advanced. Each tab is pretty self explanatory and once you get the hang of it, it is easy to navigate. Cons I found sometimes that cltr numbers don't always disappear even if they have been dealt with. It could be confusing when there are pages of invoices in the software to process, which have or have not been processed already. My overall experience is very positive and i would be lost without this software. Pros Ease of use and security. I work in a leasing office in Austin Texas AND i HAVE A LOT OF STUDENTS THAT i DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS. YARDI HELPS ME KEEP TRACK OF ALL THE INFO EASILY AND SECURELY. Cons It still had its moments where entries did not show up and it was slow as molasses. Check Scanning also wasn't the greatest system. Pros Available online, able to enter transactions for multiple entities without having to log out and switch companies. If configured properly, Yardi Voyager is able to run accurate cam reconciliations, eliminating the need for extra work (maintaining cam on a spreadsheet) Cons Not very user friendly on some levels, and the manual isn't always crystal clear. Cons Sometimes I forgot where the buttons are located and have to search for it becuase the software are so extensive and there are so many funcitons that are similar. It is a challenge. Rent roll is awesome and easy to look at. Looking up a phone number or email is easy to do. Love the market survey option. Cons Guest cards, duplicate guest cards, dates can be changed in guest cards, too much information to enter. Yardi times out a lot and it is very slow. Especially at rent due time.
