I have nothing else to write about it that is positive. Cons No owner portal, no automation, expensive, implementation takes forever, clunky, unintuitive. You have to go to multiple screens to set up one property. Everything is manual. I could go on and on. Seriously, this thing is terrible. Only chose it because it's "Yardi" - the go to in management software, but this is a joke. Not only are you able to easily add contracts, view details, post batches, run cheques.... the program can also be useful in transition from construction to property management. And it is a convenient way to do accounts payable. Pros Yardi is very easy to use. I use it for accounting purposes. I can upload invoices and get them sent to the correct department manager. I can also code and approve invoices. Cons Yardi is some what a difficult program when you are first learning, but after you do the steps a few times it’s very easy to navigate. Cons There are almost too many ways to set things up. As we start to implement additional software that feeds off yardi data, the flexibility of the software actually poses a challenge in integrating with other softwares. It is very simple to use and I like programs that I use daily to be as simple as possible. It just helps make my busy daily schedule less complicated. Pros What I like most about Yardi is that the software is easy to navigate through. I have used Yardi, E-Site, and ResMan and I would have to say that Yardi and ResMan are probably my most favorite ones to use. Pros One of the best programs that I have used for property management, it is cloud based so you can use it anywhere and it fits businesses that are on the smeller end however, can help you track everything that is necessary when managing properties. Cons Nothing, it works like a charm. If there is any little thing that you are not happy with or do not understand then just contact customer service and they'll solve your problem. Pros Disclaimer: I was asked to set up and test this for my property manager relative. The potential is huge- managing all rental properties from one site. The reporting is robust, and interface is intuitive and clear. Cons It seemed to take way too long to get to the screen I wanted, then the pop-ups, which are supposed to make life easier, kept getting in the way.
