We worked very closely with the X Cart team to go through involved in sometimes complicated upgrade with many customized pages that they were able to adapt and get functioning properly on our current site. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Pros

Out of the box it is clean and easy to use platform that is also very customizable. We have found access to the pages to be able to modify them easy and service from the xcart team is always readily available and they have been extremely accommodating throughout the entire process

Cons

We were previously using an older version that allowed us to host the website at a host of our choosing by upgrading we are forced to push to the site on the X card cloud which significantly increased our monthly hosting costs

We’ve been working with X-Cart for over 10 years, and one of the biggest strengths has been the developer support. It’s consistently prompt, reliable, and highly engaged, which has allowed us to build and maintain custom functionality across multiple sites.

Pros

The prompt support from the customer service team. Questions are answered in ways that support all options.

Cons

Needs flexibility to add multiple warehouses and show inventory at each locations. A better seo offering that includes as many schema types for outputting rich snippets.

I had an excellent experience with X-Cart Company! They developed a fantastic eCommerce website for my online car parts business and provided their X-Payments payment gateway, which works perfectly. The entire system is smooth, secure, and very easy to use — both for me and my customers. Their website development service is top-notch. The site looks professional, runs fast, and has all the features I needed for my business. I really appreciate how dedicated and skilled their team is. The support team is also amazing — very cooperative, friendly, and always available when I need assistance. It’s easy to reach them, and they resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. I’ve been using their services for a while now, and I’m extremely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend X-Cart and their X-Payments gateway to anyone looking for a reliable and professional eCommerce solution.

Pros

I’m very happy with X-Cart and their excellent eCommerce store services. They built a professional online store for my car parts business that looks great, runs smoothly, and is easy to manage. I also use their X-Payments gateway, which works perfectly for secure and fast transactions.

Cons

Their support team is friendly and helpful, but sometimes there is a delay in getting resolutions for certain issues. However, once they respond, they always make sure the problem is fully solved.

Overall, X-Cart is an excellent platform for any business that wants to expand its E-Commerce presence. Excellent support, a wide range of website templates, easy set-up, low learning curve, and plenty of native payment and checkout options make X-Cart a perfect choice for any business.

Pros

The X-Cart platform is very well built and incorporates many great features for brands that are starting in E-Commerce, and provides great value for a low monthly cost. Set-up is very easy, and there are many "add-ons" that can be installed if needed. Website templates are available to get started, and your site will be deployed online quickly. The learning curve is pretty small, and if there are questions, the X-Cart Support team is amazing to work with. They respond quickly and not only provide help and fixes, but they also explain issues/fixes so I can handle them in the future myself.

Cons

While there are options to send abandoned cart marketing emails, integrate META pixels, Google, Amazon, and eBay, it does rely on MailChimp for additional email marketing. It would be nice to have options to either send marketing communications natively or be able to use more robust email platforms. Also, being able to add products or categories to landing pages would be excellent.

Pros

What I like most about X-Cart is the excellent customer support. The team is prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and always friendly — it makes a huge difference when you’re managing an online store. I also appreciate how easy it is to use and customise the website to suit our specific needs. The flexibility of the platform allows us to present our brand exactly how we want.

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve when exploring some of the more advanced features, but once you’re familiar with the system, it’s smooth and reliable.

X-Cart offers exception and prompt customer service. I never have to wait long for concise communication, and they do excellent work at a fair price.

Pros

It's flexible and has the ability to expand as our needs change. Whenever I have a question, they are quick to respond - whenever we have a custom project they are priced fair and excellent communicators.

Cons

There isn't anything we don't like - they are great on all levels.

Very user frendly, I would love to have more support on the mapping side but hey every store is different and I understand that.

Pros

Very quick live chat responce from actual human.

Cons

They have majors compatibilty issues with Sema Data only 45% of the images does import correctly they've been working on solving this probleme for almost 4 months still not fixed.

X Cart started as a great bit of software back in 1999. Now, their V5 is really poor. They also don't understand they need to support their paying users. The software is really expensive, so you expect support. They are happy to support but drag out the issues, charge you as much as they can and don't try to help. Very rude.

Pros

The software used to be good but I think over time with less sales it's not getting the attention it needs.

Cons

They dont have anyone that understand support. Every question costs you money and they waste time to make things even more expensive. They are unwilling to help fix issues when it is clearly their software's fault. They used to be a good company. Don't touch them now unless you want problems.
