October 6, 2017 5.0 Cloud based access. Pros That it's cloud based and I can easily access it from home if needed. I also like the included HIPPA view option on the schedule. Any issue I ever have is fixed fast and I love that I can access patient info anywhere any time Cons The software is a little slow. Cons A bit hard to learn and get used to, especially due to the constant updates. Training will take a while. So far, the customer service has been outstanding. We are still in the middle of our learning curve time, so I am sure it is user error on most of our issues. Our dealings with everyone from Planet DDS, however, has been exemplary. They answer all of our questions and concerns as if they are the most important thing they have heard that day! Pros I love that this is cloud based and that you can pull just about any report that you want. You can also create your own. Cons Transferring over from another software was difficult. Great training team, our trainer was very knowledgeable about the system and very engaging with all our staff. Pros Easy to maneuver the system, easy to find what you need within a chart without too many clicks. Great reports with detailed information and quick to run. Cons Setup of providers, offices, operatories, schedules, and holidays etc., all need to be done provider by provider and location by location. This is a little time consuming for large practices with multiple offices. Would be quicker if we could select multiple offices for the same provider and make a change once. Review Source SJ Scott J. Features are readily available and being web-based adding a minor thing or tweaking something doesn't require downtime to do a software update for the entire office like the previous software we used in our office (EagleSoft from Patterson Dental). Not to mention if anything is ever needed our account manager Lissett Garcia is amazing and the main reason we signed up. Lissett is what makes Denticon great, she is a wonderful person to work with and I highly recommend Planet DDS and Lissett especially to anyone. Review Source NC Nick C. The conversion was easy. Scanning charts was work, but that was on us. Cons Honestly, I couldn't be happier. The software was super easy to learn. " January 10, 2017 5.0 I've used Denticon since 2007 and started with one office. Now I have 3 offices and use Denticon to seamlessly manage them all. I think all practice management software works well. I like Denticon because there was no large upfront cost, the monthly fees are fair, they constantly update and improve the service, and I don't have to worry about backing up my data or if my server crashes.
