June 19, 2018 4.0 Pros It is a very good tool to teach online, no matter how many students you have, it is very versatile, you can also work with few or many people, it is interactive, a very good tool. Cons It would be good if the platform could have the multi-language interface, I do not know if it is not configured, it would also be a tremendous advance that could have simultaneous translation mechanisms for chats, that would help in the simultaneous training of people who speak different languages Review Source AM Austen M. The media platform team is always there to assist to ensure success. Cons The need to utilize an encoder can be a challenge as security controls internally drastically limit who can produce events internally. Pros I enjoyed broadcasting our events through webcaster once I figured out how to do it. It is a reliable tool that definitely performed when we needed it to! Cons It has a pretty steep learning curve. We had to hire someone at Media Platform to broadcast our first big event and it wasn't cheap. Review Source SN Scott N. We need to get these live events out to our remote users across the U.S. Broadcaster integrates well with our encoders on prem and allows us to securely transmit that signal up to MediaPlatform for processing. Pros Comes with a great CDN network. Very nice interface. Fantastic Support. Integrates very well with our Epiphan Pearl Encoders. Cons For each event, one must set the date and time. Pros Broadcaster is an excellent platform for producing straightforward, easy to use and engaging live events. From the audience perspective, Broadcaster events are easy to join and experience. From the event management perspective, Mediaplatform has done a great job making event production consistent and dependable. Cons Multi-language support for global audiences (non-English speaking) could improve. They understand that this is a live event platform and provide customer support that matches the urgency of live events. Pros For our live productions, Broadcaster allows us to deliver engaging content on a very stable platform. The interface, both administrative and user, are very intuitive. Live event analytics are critical, and Broadcaster delivers powerful analytics. Cons User access control for some individual components could be better. Since migrating to MediaPlatform, we don't have those meetings anymore and as such, having this time provides allows us to focus on delivering a higher level production value and engagement to our users.
