Pros Hands down what makes this software is the fact that it is a relational database. If you want to extract data and analyze your numbers there is no better classroom management software. In addition the ability to easily contact a customer support person is absolutely amazing. I have worked with many other classroom software applications and none can match the power of Class Manager. Cons 2 features are limiting and one is up to you. 1) You do not have flexibility on who you choose for credit card processing. The services that CM partner with are solid but have higher percentages than some other CC processing companies. 2) Cost. There is no way around it, CM is expensive. That said, you get what you pay for. Buy once, cry once. I've tried cheaper options and always regretted it. 3) The final con is not really a con. CM is not cloud based. That means you house it on a physical machine. I find that a plus but it does add cost and can reduce speed for web users. You have to decide what platform you prefer. President Education Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "20+ Years of Experience with ClassManager" November 9, 2022 5.0 There was a brief period a number of years ago that I walked away from ClassManager to try a less expensive online software solution. That alternative program was essentially an online class registration system, and offered very little in terms of basic database functionality. As a dance school, I understand that I need a program that is more than just a credit card portal for online enrollment, I need to manage and grow my business. ClassManager does exactly that, it is a all-in-one database solution that is fully customizable so my staff and I can manage the day to day operation after the registration is taken. The customer support provided by Atlantic Associates is second to none. I highly recommend ClassManager to any school or class-based business that is serious about controlling and managing their operation. Pros As a long time ClassManager user, having the ability to modify the program to meet the evolving needs of our business has been very important. The 4D infrastructure is very powerful and mac compatible, and that is critical for me. Cons The only negative is the cost. There are less expensive, less powerful options but ClassManager's adaptability and depth have made it worthwhile for my dance studio business. Review Source PM Patricia M. He knows this software inside and out and is a top-notch problem-solver and trainer. His availability is refreshing in today's day. The learning curve was quite substantial due to our type of business and how we needed to customize and set up to succeed on this cloud-based system. Navigating the platform can be difficult but using a relational database is most helpful and beneficial. I had hoped the existing templates were better; we invested a lot of time improving their aesthetics and language. Overall, the software is a solid choice. The accessibility of support and the ease of registration. Cons I'm not really sure there are any features that we are missing. They have upgraded the software to suit our needs. The online registration system is fully integrated with the database offering real-time counts for available remaining slots in a class. It can be customized seamlessly to work with existing software. Pros Generating certificates and serial numbers for them is a life-saver! Easy to manage attendance and schedule changes. Cons The basic version is not enough for an average training entity like us. We needed a lot of extra features activated to take care of day-to-day business; but their great customer support helped us tackle this.
