Pros: We've just started using Concur and I am loving the interface and easy usability of it! Even as I'm beginning, it is easy to navigate to everything I need and quickly fill in information. What's even better is the ability to use the App to insert information!

Cons: Although Concur is very user friendly and easy to navigate, there are some employees who still can't figure out technology. In our previous platform, I could create the necessary expense reports for these folks, and they would simply have to approve it. This showed a paper trail of where the approval process was. However, Concur requires the actual traveler to submit their own forms. For me, this could cause a lot of problems. Now, I have to remind these technology-impaired folks to physically go in and hit submit, instead of the system reminding them for me.

Pros: Always easy to use application, makes it easy to upload files and enter information. Phone application was always easy to use and navigate.

Cons: Sometimes my receipts would not upload the first time, had to try multiple times. Didn't happen all the time, application would sometimes freeze.

Pros: Concur makes booking travel and processing expenses simple. It's user friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons: I dislike the short window of time needed for manager approval before you have to just resubmit the expense again.

Pros: I like that it is integrated with the rest of our systems. I think it provides a good platform for expensing on the go.

Cons: It feels clunky at times. I think that it could be easier to do multiple expenses. It is tough to figure out what category each expense should go into.

Pros: It's drag and drop click and submit system. It's easy to add expenses and capture receipts. Amazing mobile app too. It's so much better than any other system and takes the agony away from filing personal expense.

Cons: It's expensive and charged on a per user fee. Not all users submit expense reports and sometime that can add up.

Overall great software enjoyed by the entire company.

Comments: Concur is a very good expense management tool. Very positive employee feedback, viewed as a benefit. Quality service. Overall could be priced less.

Pros: Pre built connectors that make integration with your systems easy. Great brand recognition, known as the leader in the industry. Overall lots of features and functions.

Cons: It should be easier to complete an expense report via mobile phone. Expense It and Trip It should be one product.

Pros: This product is great for expense reporting. We really like the receipt imaging feature. All of the invoices are located in one place.

Cons: This may be just a problem with us not using the program to it's full potential, but we pay a lot for what we feel like isn't worth the price.

Concur makes it easy to track and submit all corporate expenses!

Pros: As a manager, I do a lot of purchasing on behalf of my team. Sometimes on a corporate card and sometimes out of pocket to be reimbursed. Concur makes it so easy to upload pictures of receipts and keep track of expense approvals for both use cases.

Cons: I love the expense tracking in the system, however, the travel booking can be tricky at times. There are multiple steps that you must take to book and confirm your travel. I feel like the platform could be a little more user-friendly in this aspect.

Pros: The travel seems beneficial to keep track of all travel expenses. I do like corporate payment where expense can be paid directly to CC.

Cons: New to this but it does not appear as user friendly as previous expense system. Was unable to easily find history on my direct reports expenses previously submitted. Just doesnt seem intuitive enough.

Been using this for expenses for over 2 years now. Very easy and quick with the mobile platform.

Pros: The mobile platform makes capturing receipts much easier than trying to scan all in. Fairly quick in syncing and much easier than the former process our company used.

Cons: I wish the app had recognition of a name on a receipt and could sync it with the expense....but I realize that is a big ask. The only other changes are more of how our company chose to use this software, not with the software itself.

Pros: you can load your receipts off your phone but your camera roll or taking a photo right there on the spot.

Cons: Sometimes if you try to enter the receipt before you create the expense it will remove the photo, also the desktop view is not as easy. It requires more work to upload images of course.

Pros: Concur Expense Management has all the features you need for expense management. It's customizible/flexible, can bill to departments, and manage taxes and policies specific to geographies. The mobile application makes it very simple to take pictures of receipts on the go, and automatically make them available in expense reports. I also am enjoying the Uber integration that automatically produces receipts and makes them available in Concur after taking a trip.

Cons: Ideally it would be a bit easier and more visible for people doing their expenses to control which individual department they are billing an individual line item to. Most of our employees mix different kinds of expenses into one expense report, so that feature would be nice for budget holders.

Overall: Easy, fast, and transparent Expense Management

Pros: The tool has the ability to accept all different kinds of charges, charge them directly to corporate card, and direct funds from the correct cost centers

Cons: the tool is very rigid and if the process is not done 100% correctly, the user often has to start over from the beginning because of the number of errors and inablity to get around them.

Pros: Concur's functionality is very simple and intuitive. When creating a report, I can easily choose the expense type, add a receipt image, and add the other details. I like how I can save a report to work on later, and even easily cancel one after it has been submitted if I need to make an edit. I also enjoy getting email updates to let me know where my report is in the process of getting approved and dispensed into my account.

Cons: There is not anything that I like the least about Concur - everything about Concur works well for me!

Pros: Love how it easy it was to submit expense reports with this software, especially if you download the app! Also love that I could take picture of expense receipts on the go and have them stored and ready when I needed them for the expense report. Lastly I love that the funds were directly deposited vs. getting a check.

Cons: Really nothing comes to mind in terms of what could be improved. Categories of expenses could have been greater but those were set by our administrator so really not a fault against the software.

Comments: As a GovCon system's consultant, this is the expense/travel capturing solution I recommend to clients, that can afford it.

Pros: This is the top-shelf of expense/travel management software. It's easy for users. Administration isn't terribly difficult. Integration is possible depending on the accounting solution. It has a lot of reporting and analysis tools. It can save a lot of time for F&A staff if the software is setup correctly.

Cons: It's a bit on the expensive side. Customer service isn't always the most helpful, depending on who you get. The sales team can be a bit pushy and make promises their development team hasn't released yet. Not real cons to say about the actual system itself.

Pros: I like that it connects directly with my corporate credit card; its very easy to match expenses with receipts and submit reports in a timely fashion. The mobile app has made significant improvements

Cons: I wish it integrated directly with common receipt sources to automatically pull the transaction data, particularly from uber/lyft which I use frequently. This also may be a configuration my org has not implemented.

Our company had a horrible time with concur - Bills were paid late all the time!

Pros: The idea of it is nice and if it worked well it would be awesome, but in execution it does not work well at all.

Cons: We had bills not show up in concur until after they were due making us delinquent with several accounts. We would have to make separate individual payments outside of the system to avoid an affect on our credit or termination of service. Did not help efficiency or our standing with vendors at all.

Overall: Not any benefits it was a horrible experience in our accounting depertment

Pros: It's a fairly user friendly system with a good amount of features. We never have systems issues, which is very nice.

Cons: It would be nice if it captured more details about each purchase, but perhaps that's also an amex issue.

Software handles our T&E and P-Card requirements much better than previous solution.

Pros: Intuitive software. Captures all P-Card and T&E spend requirements, provides payment files nightly and interfaces all to the general ledger.

Cons: Customer service is average. Usually they are not reading the tickets thoroughly and don't research in advance. Tickets remain open too long without resolution.

Overall: Cloud solution that simplified administration and upgrades. Pharmaceutical industry requirements for reporting were met through semi standard configuration. End users love the mobile app.

Pros: I used this at a former employer for travel. It was easy to keep track of our travel plans and get to our information on the go.

Pros: I like the snapshot of receipts feature, as it is so much easier than scanning. the phone app is helpful to be able to expense things right away

Cons: lately it's been crashing with SSO so it's been a little unreliable. The photo receipt feature on the app is a little clunky and doesn't always get the whole receipt. Comments should be able to easily sync between expenses when they are the same expenses (especially foreign transaction fees)

Pros: This software is very easy to use once it is setup with all the validation rules necessary to work with your Accounting system. It took us a while to get all the rules correct and properly tested, but once they were setup and working we have had very minor issues. We like that we can bundle the Travel with the Expense component to get discounts from our Travel vendors. The users like using the mobile app to upload their expense receipts. It is very easy to use the interface both as a user and administrator.

Cons: Concur gives you a point of contact that helps customize your software. It was difficult to get all the requirements that we needed for our validation rules, but once we were able to get those configured it worked really well.

Pros: It is simple to add and attach receipts. Very user friendly, which comes in handy when you're training older individuals that tend to dislike change!

Cons: It is sometimes a bit quirky, taking more time than necessary to show certain expenses, or requiring an annoying log out and log back in sequence.

Overall: It cut down on paperwork, which made my job easier. Also very easy to approve other's expense reports and track their purchases.

Pros: This is super easy to use, especially if you have the app. Take a photo of your receipt, pop it in the system and you're practically done.

Cons: Some of the fields seem a bit redundant or unnecessary. But overall, I like this system better than other business expense software I've used.

Pros: Concur is having so many pros which can not be denied, my list goes on 1. Matured product with easy to use features 2. Coupled with OCR technologies 3. Flawless process

Pros: The implementation staff was very good but work through the process in a way that does not always seem to address concerns in real time. There ends up being a lot of back a forth, questions, etc., but the answers are always complete and applicable.

Cons: It is not quite as user friendly as I was expecting. It interface is pretty good but some of the best functionality is in a companion app rather than the direct smartphone app. The admin side is clunky and not intuitive at all to get through the processes it manages.

Great tool for tracking, monitoring and submitting expenses.

Pros: Concur keeps all of our invoices in one place and allows all of our teams to review them without the hassle of invoices getting lost in the abyss of never-ending emails. Allows for comments from each user which can be viewed by all who receive the inv. Inv PDF can be downloaded and replaced, Inv extract captures each invoice line in excel which is useful. Duplicate inv. feature works great when OCR gets inv number right. Ability to edit invoices is great and we can see who changed what and the date using the audit trail but we can't export or capture this info.

Cons: It takes a min of 2 days to get an inv into the system but often takes longer and has taken up to 8, system often duplicates invoices or does not ever show up even though we get confirmation so we can't have them sent directly to concur, OCR sftw is not good, requires manual review. PO's don't work if you have to revise them. PO import also doesn't fully work and retains old info after updated. Thus PO/inv matching is useless. Does not offer inv. tracking so we still manually track them. No way to determine inv time w/ each employee or turnover time in a rept or export due to "system limitations." No useful/functional reporting. Auto routing does not work on project basis so we must manually route. No way to capture approvals w/ inv so we must screenshot every one and attach to PDF download. Can't use approval flows for projects and have to approve through comments and manually route. Employees can't see invoices after passing them to next person so finance still has to manually send copies upon request. System offers restrictions but all employees can access and change these settings eventhough they are not set as an admin and are supposed to have restrictions, which means they could bypass final review by accounting. Employees often chance currency type for other countries not knowing we pay in USD only, we can't lock this so the export fails if we don't catch it and finally; it took almost 4 months to get up and running w/ concur so we didn't even get to use free trial.

Overall: It keeps all of our invoices in one place.

Pros: Easy to use while on the road. Eliminates lost receipts and makes it easier to submit timely expense reports. It is also easy to use the approval features online or in the application.

Cons: It does not interface with our accounting system even though it was advertised to do so. The customer support is not knowledgable about this aspect of the software.

Pros: I like most how quickly I can scan in receipts, organize them for expense type, and submit for approval within minutes.

Cons: I like least that sometimes the photos don't take and I have to try multiple times to get a clear picture of the receipts.

Once learned it is quite easy to use and streamlines the expense process.

Pros: I like how it integrates things together so that it eliminates steps. Entering a receipt and attaching a photo of it is very easy. Also, expenses are all gathered in one spot and you can easily add them to an expense report at which point they disappear from expenses so that you don't double them up. Also, the app lets you know if you don't have all the required information for an expense. Coupled with the ExpenseIt app it's very easy to enter an expense just by taking a picture of your receipt. Expense reports are fairly easy to manage and submit. Most of the organizational and cost center information is already entered for you. Simple user interface on home page.

Cons: Takes a while to get used to the software and figure out how to enter items. Error correcting has sometimes proved to not be as easy as entering items. If your hotel has a different rate each night there is no way to itemize it that way. You end up having to average out the rate to make it work and if it ends up being an odd multiple you have to figure out a way to make up the difference. There haven't been enough categories for our department to categorize many of our expenses to.

Overall: Ease of submitting expense reports.

Pros: I use this app for my company to get reimbursed. I think the service is a must-need for all companies to get appropriate approvals for reimbursement, and it does provide a "professional" layout for users.

Cons: I don't like how there are too many steps to go through in order to complete an invoice request. I wish they would dumb down the steps a bit.

Pros: This product works great for expense reports. I really like that we are able to take a picture of our receipts as we go and submit them. It has really reduced the time I spend on my expense reports.

Cons: I feel like making reservations could be improved some. I only use this about every other month so part of it could just be that I need to seek out more training.

Pros: The newly updated app allows for a much more efficient process of uploading photos of receipts - a wonderful improvement!

Pros: The best feature of this program is the ability to link your Uber account. The expenses show up automatically, including receipts. Makes expense reporting a breeze.

Cons: Depending on how it is configured by your company, you may not be able to easily delete personal expenses from linked apps that are imported accidentally.

Pros: I can log my expenses directly from my phone. I can also track mileage as I make my trips. I no longer have to spend hours doing manual expense reports. The app walks you through the process step by step and guides you to ensure every field necessary is populated. It eliminates the chances of having errors.

Cons: Although the app walks you through beach step, it's still somewhat difficult to understand some of the fields and what they mean. I'm still in the beginning stages of learning how to navigate through the app.

Tracking expenses has never been easier.

Pros: Tracking and submitting expenses is super easy using this software. Uploading receipts is also very easy.

Cons: Sometimes there are too many categories to have to choose when submitting an expense. Some of them seem redundant.
